Kin Khao Thai Food

This past Sunday, we headed to The Pearl Farmer’s Market to try @kin.khaothaifood for lunch. Their tent is located close to the food hall side of the farmer’s market. Big and Candace are the dynamic couple behind the business. Candace took our order while Big cooked up the delectable foods. We tried everything they served up from the Thai Omelette, Chicken Fried Rice, Steamed Dumplings, and Mango Sticky Rice. Don’t worry about the heat if you’re not into spicy foods. The chili oil and spices are on the side for you to add if you want to. Dad couldn’t stop eating the Thai Omelette. Of course the sweet chili sauce is Dad’s favorite. The dumplings came in a sweet soy sauce. Yum, I put my rice in it to soak up the yumminess. The mango was very sweet! The only thing I didn’t try was the Thai Tea. Maybe next time! Check them out the next time you’re at The Pearl Farmer’s Market. They’re there both on Saturdays and Sundays.

I visited the Farmers Market today after a morning run. I had never had a Thai Omelette before and this was so good and busting with flavor. Definitely a 10/10!! 😋

This is a very tasty food stand posted up at the Pearl on weekends. The flavors are on point, and if you're into bold, spicy kicks, definitely go for the fish sauce. It's got the perfect heat. The Thai omelet is a must-try too—crispy, fluffy, and packed with flavor. Catch them while you can, I highly recommend them!

My wife and I go here as often as we can. After having spent a lot of time in Thailand, this chicken fried rice is simple but just perfect.

I’ve come here many times but I’m pretty disappointed in how my son was treated today. My 12 year old son ordered fried rice. We sat down at the table in front of the booth. They knew where we were sitting since they brought us the food, eventually. With how cold it was out today they left our food on the table for us to pick up. They didn’t yell a name or a number. So we didn’t know our food was ready. They brought the food to us after a couple of minutes. When my son went to eat it it was ice cold. When we took it to them to let them know, they said it was our fault! You’re joking right! They could have offered to reheat it and guess what you’d have a happy customer but instead you lost 4!!

So good!!! They give you a lot for the price. Best authentic Thai food I have had in years!!! A must stop in the Pearl district when you go to San Antonio. Please post photos this food is so yummy

Fantastic pumpkin curry and chicken fried rice. The dumplings were also amazing. While eating I immediately came onto Google Maps to see if they had a physical location. Sadly they don’t it seems, but now I’m leaving a very well deserved 5 star review.

Was here at the farmers market outside of the Emma hotel, and the Pearl District, and the staff allowed a dog to stand with its front feet up on its counter for a couple of minutes. I was going to buy food here, but decided to leave and eat elsewhere. If they allow dog to be up on their service counter, are, they really keeping any other health standards?

I avoid places with low health scores, and I don't know this health score but I'm sure large dogs resting their front legs up on the service counter (and being allowed to stay there) would be some kind of violation!! I will say the dog was wearing a badge that said "Best Friend" so perhaps the staff thought it was a service dog, but in Texas there is a "four on the floor" rule for service dogs.

First off, I love the Pearl Farmers Market and Kin Khao Thai Food is located there so by default, I love it. One taste of their mango sticky rice and I REALLY love it. It was genuinely perfectly sweet, creamy, sticky, and all things good. The black sesame seeds were a nice lil touch. I feel like they didn't add much, they just covered the fact that the sweetened coconut sauce kinda looked like... mmmm nevermind. Long story short, this was great and I hope I can always find them at the Pearl!

I had only bought the mango sticky rice from this spot, but it was incredible. Tasted delicious and I hope to run into the stall again so that I may try the rest of the menu!

The best Thai food we have found in San Antonio. We tried the omelette, fried rice, mango sticky rice and Thai tea and loved it all! The service was great and the workers were very friendly.You must try them if you are at the Pearl markets.

Nice presentation. Nice flavors. Was going to rate 4 stars bc I thought I was getting more omelette and less rice as it's called a Thai omelette. But i dont rate low bc I didn't know what I was getting. I would add chicken. I won't get again unless I have a craving for rice. Bc this would definitely satisfy that craving. I wasn't feeling carbs today! It should be called Thai rice, honestly
