Everything we ordered was delicious and full of authentic flavor. The Kao Soi was rich and comforting, the Green Curry had the perfect balance of spice and creaminess, and the Thai Ceviche was so fresh, but the standout for me was definitely the Curry Dumplings! On top of the amazing food, the service was warm, attentive, and so friendly, which made the meal even better. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend this place!

One of the best, if not the best Thai places in SLC. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. The boat noodles and khao soi were especially great, and the mango sticky rice was one of the best I've ever had. The wait staff was also super nice. Would definitely come back again.

During this day, I was really craving hainan chicken. After some research, I discovered there is a Thai version of hainan chicken. It is called Khao Man Kai. I drove an hour to Kin Sen to try it. Though very very similar to hainan chicken, I did not taste as much ginger/garlic infused flavors in the rice and chicken. However, it was still pretty good. What I really liked was the yum woon sen. It was my first time trying it and now I'm a fan. Now, I will always try to look for it at any Thai restaurant I go to. The pad thai was fine. I did NOT like the papaya salad. It was WWWAAAAYYY too sweet. This salad alone dinged a star off of my review. It did not taste like a traditional papaya salad at all. Practically just sugar and water was used as the dressing. The roti dessert was fine, but I can tell they used old ice cream. From the scoop of ice cream I was given, I could clearly see freeze burn marks all on it. Overall, this place wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. I will say that the entree portions were huge; very generous of them. It got busy fast. It's not a huge place but still had a nice chill vibe to it.

I ordered the beef boat noodles and wow, absolutely amazing! The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting, perfect if you’re fighting off a cold or just craving something deeply satisfying. The beef was tender, the noodles cooked perfectly, and the fresh herbs and bean sprouts added a great balance. The service was 10/10 too! The owner was so kind and welcoming, which really added to the experience. I’ve also heard their mango sticky rice is the best in SLC, so I’ll definitely be coming back to try it next time. Highly recommend Kin Sen Thai if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Thai food served with genuine hospitality.

Food Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Don’t skip on: Khao Soi and the Pad Thai We came across Kin Sen Thai while driving around the area a while back and I’m so sad it took me so long to finally remember to try the restaurant out! There is a decent variety of noodle and rice options for this pan-Asian restaurant. Their specialties are still Thai cuisine, which is what I ended up ordering. We got the Khao Soi, Pad Thai, Crying Tiger, and the Kin Sen Rice. The kitchen was a bit backed up, but when we finally got out food, everything was delicious! Our fried rice was normally supposed to come with white rice, but the server came out and asked if we’d be ok with brown rice and we agreed. It was good, but I don’t typically order it and would like to try it with white rice instead. The Pad Thai had good flavors and the Khao Soi was one of the best I’ve had in a while. The crying tiger steak was cooked to a medium rare - what I personally prefer. The staff were all very welcoming and the restaurant was well kept. Can’t wait to go back and try more items!

Food was very good. Ordered Drunken noodles with tofu, love the basil in it, also had broccoli, cabbage, green peppersand zuchini in it. Very flavorful. Beware and go mild on spice they use 1-5 scale. My husband ordered a 2, for spice for curry dish. He said it was perfect. Try it out for lunch or dinner, won’t be disappointed. Sorry, Took a photo after I took a couple bites. Large portion.

Excellent food and service all around. HIGHLY recommend ordering Kao Soi— the most flavorful and delicious soup I may have ever had.
