The drinks here are next level — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. Whether you’re a hardcore matcha fan or just curious, there’s something on the menu for everyone. I tried the iced strawberry matcha latte and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in Brisbane. Not too sweet, super creamy, and that real matcha flavour comes through beautifully. The space itself is calm, minimal, and aesthetic — perfect for a catch-up, a quiet moment, or a sneaky photo for the ’gram 📸 Staff are friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and you can tell everything’s made with care. Definitely one of my new favourite spots in the area. A must-visit if you’re into matcha or Japanese-inspired drinks!

Really great spot for matcha! The matcha was perfection, no added sugar or sweetener unless you ask for it, really great quality. Food was also really good, the tortilla española was filling and delicious, the oak wood smoked aioli on top was perfection, highly recommend!

We ordered the June Special drink, iced long black, iced pistachio matcha, iced chocolate, pizza toastie, and brekky roll at our visit today. The food and the special drink were really good, but the pistachio matcha didn’t have a balanced flavour. Overall its a nice experience, however, the short haired waitress took our plates and glasses without saying anything, which made us pause our conversation for a few seconds 😓

I had strawberry matcha latte and cookies. The latte taste is not balanced well. I tried it because Instagram advertise this cafe a lot to visit , but I don't understand why it's popular. I waited for a long time for the drink, but I felt bad to pay this money to eat milk with a strange taste latte.

The campfire matcha (July special) was very interesting, had a strong smokey smell and almost tasted like bonito flakes (fish?) The blondie was quite heavy but nice. The miso choc chip cookie was yum but could’ve had more miso (or have it more evenly throughout). Had a bite of my friend’s chicken toastie and it was flavourful. The seating area on the weekend is quite sad and inconvenient.

The food was nice. The staff were nice. I placed an order for one. Told it was going to be 20 minutes. So I went for a walk. I came back. My order wasn't sent to the kitchen. So I waited and waited and waited. They did say anything. More people came in . And they took the order and the money. And we all waited and waited and waited. It took 45 minutes for my food. No apology no reason why it took so long. Totally ignored me. Uber drivers got served faster then the people who where there in person. Please do better.

Yummy dining experience. Indoor seating available too. Great coffee and generous portions for breakfast. Highly recommend the banana bread from Agnes - tastes like gingerbread. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Lovely cafe, literally steps from the bus stop so it was convenient. The service was amazing. I ordered the new June limited edition matcha and it was DIVINE!!! How is it not viral yet? The lemon myrtle and honey in their matcha were an excellent addition, they gave off this zesty and caramelly flavour that complemented the matcha so well. The sago was a bit tough for me, must be because it’s been sitting in the syrup for a while? I got the matcha caramellized pear cake as well, which was decent but nothing too special. If it had a dollop of ice cream on top it would have been perfect. Anyway highly recommend! Come get their June matcha before it’s gone!!!

Yelp
Overall Experience: Continuous visitor of Kin + Co. Still remains one of the best overall cafes in Brisbane. The service is great, the ambience is warm and the food is consistently good. Highly recommend the smashed avocado with feta and the açai bowl with coconut yoghurt and peanut butter. Oh also, top 5 coffee in Brisbane too.

Yelp
What a healthy little dose of pep Kin + Co adds to this stretch of Macquarie Street! This pop of on-trend styling is backed up with a menu (think fresh healthy eats) and coffee (locally roasted Cleanskin) to make any morning (or brunch) worth the effort. We dined as a group of 5 on a Sunday morning and it couldn't have been more relaxed. Coffee orders were taken as menus were laid before us and we were given plenty of time to consider what we'd like to order as we natted away. Between us all we managed to sample key menu items including the avocado on toast, wilted greens with qunioa and a poached eggs and the exceptionally Summer fresh granola with fresh fruits. So, why not grab your bike and make the trek to Teneriffe this weekend!

Yelp
You must go to Kin + Co! Modern, clean, sleek, & chic, are all appropriate words to describe the beautiful minimalist interior. Kin + Co at 24 Macquarie St Teneriffe, appears to just be a hole-in-the-wall coffee takeaway joint, but it is indeed a cafe once you've realised that there is a main entrance (which we totally missed!). Luckily for us, Tim (an acquaintance from Reverend's), was there to show us the way. Well rounded coffee from Clean Skin Coffee, with subtle flavours; a little caramel, & some sweetness. All expertly made by the man of many talents Larry (designer & fashion blogger extraordinaire). We had the: The "Shakshuka ($14)" Beans, onions, capsicum, tomatoes, spices, 2 cracked eggs & thick soughdough bread. Vg, gf & vegan options available. It was delicious, well balanced, & satisfying. Sourdough is perfect for scooping up all the sauce & beans. The Sautéed brioche with torched bananas, creme patisserie & salted caramel ($16) was so decadent; it took our taste buds on a sweet date to ecstasy-land. It was so delicious, & such a generous serving. Unfortunately we couldn't finish it all; so full! Kin + Co's menu is consistent with the cafe's pared-down style. Simple but done really well! Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten Free options, & price-wise, nothing appeared to be over $16. Most definitely coming back here. Open Monday to Friday 6am till 2pm. Saturday & Sunday 7am till 2pm.

Yelp
Very poor management. Definitely not recommended. A few weeks ago a waitress with an accent who just yelled me after I told me to take my order.

Yelp
Food was OK. Can't complain about the service, there was none. It's also super loud so if you want to be able to talk to your friends at the table - go elsewhere.

Yelp
A street view sometimes can lead you into not coming into a venue, as has the case in this situation. Have driven past here millions of times, but finally got here from a recommendation from my partner. The street view is very miss leading, once you do get here , you enter down the stairs, it opens up to a massive area. The service was good , prompt, the food was delicious and the coffee tasty, try the blueberry smoothie. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
What a great little surprise in Newstead. I tried this place out for the first time this morning for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Totally agree with another review: it does look very unassuming from the outside but inside it is warm and welcoming. The food was great. I went for avocado and goat's cheese on sourdough, with poached eggs. Savoury mince, the breakfast burger and omelette were also well-received at our table. Coffee was top notch. Service was friendly and efficient. I liked the atmosphere inside and loved the green touches. Would definitely return.

Yelp
One of the best breakfast spots in Brisbane. The coffee is great, poached eggs on rye sourdough is perfect every time, and the eggs Benedict is the best I've had anywhere. I eat here at least a couple of times a month and never get sick of it. Lots of space and friendly staff. A hidden gem!

Yelp
Absolutely sensational spot. Fantastic atmosphere, filled with plants and a great welcoming vibe. They also happen to be serving a boss range of filter coffee from a favourite of mine down in Tasmania, Villino Coffee (Seriously, everyone in Aussie should get onto these guys!) Brisbane is definitely hot spot for great espresso based coffee at the moment, but it's also really heartening seeing more and more cafes take that leap in pushing the filter style brew methods as well. These guys do a great job food wise, and absolutely nailed the filter as well. I had a Trinity for the first time which was delicate and balanced, with a slightly heavier mouthfeel than regular pour over style methods. Delish. Will definitely be back when i'm in Brisbane next.

Yelp
Best breakfast in town. Try the kin and co eggs Benedict, it is sensational. The rye bread they use is the best bread you will eat. Great coffe, great service, can't go wrong!
