Went there to celebrate new year. Environment is nice and lovely. Food are interesting that main courses paring with rice. Delicious. Services is good!

We had a fantastic time at Kinara Kitchen the other night! The manager, Yogi, who greeted us at the door, was absolutely spot on – a sharp, incredibly friendly guy who really knew his stuff. He suggested some fantastic dishes for us, and each one was a hit. He made sure we were well looked after, and the whole experience was top-notch. The food was brilliant, full of flavour, and the atmosphere was just lovely. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening out. Definitely a place we’ll be back to! Highly recommend it.

Google
Fantastic food and great service from the team. Half the table let the waiter recommend for us which was the winning.

Google
the rich flavors of Pakistani and Eastern cuisine, paired with the perfect cocktails, made for an unforgettable evening. The ambiance was enchanting, and the service was as warm as the spices in our dishes. Cheers to great food and even greater company, especially with my brother by my side! 🍹🥘 Special thanks to Talha and John for looking after us☺️

I recently dined , and it was a delightful experience. The food was exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that our dining experience was memorable. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening. The drinks menu was impressive, offering a diverse selection of cocktails and beer's. The quality of the food and service justifies the price. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a superb dining experience. Will be back again✌️

Google
Good service, lovely food, and great variety of drinks and food options. Cocktails were batch made, as I requested a whisky sour with Irish instead of bourbon and this could not be given due to batch.

Google
All good good ambience but beware if the 10% discretionary charge that they add in the bill if you are more than 4, which is mandatory and they won't forego. Recommend to avoid the place if you are more than 4 in number, unless you want to pay10% extra. I have not seen this in other restaurants but I could be wrong. Also overpriced too without the discretionary charges.

Ordered a takeaway chicken biryani. One of the worst biryanis I ever had: very small portion for the price (24 EUR incl delivery) - the smallest takeaway “biryani” I ever had yet the most expensive one; the taste is not like biryani but more like fried rice, chicken pieces plain and not tender/marinated, and the whole thing is extremely greasy with oil swimming at the bottom of the container. Broken whole spice fragments mixed into the rice and hard to remove. See photo. Never again!!! Still hungry after paying 24 euros. Huge, huge disappointment. Sorry!

Yelp
Went here on a fluke while walking around close to my hotel. An employee coaxed us in from the sidewalk. We told him up front my wife is allergic to tomatoes and any hot spices....our meals turned out incredible! They cusomized a chicken dish for my wife that was off the charts, a non-spiced, no-tomato version of Makhanwala Murghi. It had mouth watering tender chicken in a ginger & garlic sauce. I ordered Bhindi Gosht as is, off the menu, and was delighted with tender lamb chunks in a mildly spicy sauce. The fresh naan bread melted in the mouth. They served a very light crispy tortilla-like basket of chips with two dipping sauces that had no hot spices or tomato....again to accommodate food allergies. Service was impeccable and we stuck our head in the kitchen door to thank the chefs on our way out for the amazing meal!

Yelp
Had the pleasure of dining here this evening. First thing that captures your attention is the very pleasant customer service. Extremely beautiful restaurant with a very nice and calm vibe. Now for the food. Utterly amazing, can't wait to return. I'm a lamb lover and there juicy, tender and favorable lamb was excellent. This restaurant is excellent for impressing a possible new client, excellent date night or meeting up with a few very close friends.

Mariyah S.

Yelp
I only give 5 stars to such restaurants that are just perfect. The food served was delicious and well garnished. When food looks appealing it definitely tastes good. The service was quick and welcoming. I always opt for health options on the menu... but they served gravy and biryani with the perfect amount of oil... making it healthy, easy to digest and scrumptious. Naan bread was simply awesome. It's huge and can be share by more than two if you are ordering appetizers and rice dishes too. They also served me a salad plate on demand, which is rare in many restaurants. Will definitely visit again.

Yelp
In town for the weekend and the butter chicken was the best butter chicken I've ever had in my life. The FLAVORS were literally bursting in my mouth! You have to order a side of rice and naan with it heads up it doesn't come with it. Got the garlic naan which was fantastic. It's a large meal, so I recommend splitting or be prepared to take some home. So so good. Butter chicken, rice and naan was about €30.

Yelp
So, I moved over from Dubai along with my wife 5 months back, and our friends were visiting us from Dubai when we went to Kinara. We are all big fans of Pakistani cuisine, but were very disappointed with the food here. Just as a reference, my wife is from north India and the food there is very close to Pakistani food. We had Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer (spinach and cheese), Dhal (lentil), Keema (minced meet) and spicy potato. Keema was the only thing which was good, the rest were way below average (that's being nice). The butter chicken and dhal were both bland and far from good. The spinach and Paneer was done with a sweet creamy gravy and had nothing to do with the authentic one (it was a yellow paste!!). And the finally, spicy potato, which were the safest bet, weren't well cooked and tasted like tomato paste. We are in search of an authentic Pakistani cuisine here in Dublin, this is just not it.

Akhil J.

Yelp
Not at all Indian authentic food. The menu says Paneer naan and they put cheese in it. The only think I liked is my mojito and snacks. Rest everything was a no go.

Cristin L.

Yelp
Excellent first impression of Kinara Kitchen. On a whim and most unlike him, my husband suggested Kinara as we were both leaving work on a Monday. It was somewhere we had been meaning to try and sure why not. Being a Monday we were presented with the Early Bird menu, which looked good. It was good value too. For a starter, I think it was the Malai Tikka. It was very tasty and very filling. The main came with both rice and naan bread. So by the end, I was extremely full. The early bird is the way to go here in Kinara from all accounts, as the A La Carte menu does look quite pricey compared to restaurants of similar cuisine in the city. The only downside was my partner got the rice pudding for dessert but did not enjoy it at all. My ice cream was lovely. Also and again being a Monday night, I sadly skipped on having a cocktail. But I plan to be back soon for more delicious Pakistani food and some alcohol to wash it down.

Aisha A.

Yelp
Everything at this Pakistani restaurant tasted amazing! Would def. recommend stopping by here if you're in the area.

Yelp
There was a man to greet you as you walked in and open the door - which set the tone for the entire experience! Super friendly staff and very quick to clean up plates, get you more water, and take your order. They were a little pushy at the beginning come up every minute or so asking us if we were ready to order. We had just sat to crack open the menu - just give us a couple minutes to decide on drinks first! Once we did order, we got our starter which was spicy and hot. Lovely presentation of the giant prawn starter too! It was enjoyed by all! The poppadoms that are free and served at the beginning of your meal were tasty and the sauces on the side were so flavourful and not spicy at all. Have no fear there! We got our mains shortly after our starter - super quick service! - and we all really loved them. I had the Jhinga Khara Masala with prawns and it was incredible. I asked for it spicy, and it really was - not too spicy that I couldn't eat it though. My friends had chicken tikka masala, but it was way too sweet. It honestly was like having a dessert! We also had a nice bottle of red for 28 euro, and it paired nicely with all the dishes. Highly suggest this place for a nice night out, when you're willing to spend some extra bucks!

Munira O.

Yelp
Went there with my friend for dinner on a Saturday evening! The place was packed. We had a tandoori lobster tail as a starter to share, it was hell spicy! My friend loved it. I couldn't bear it. We also had chicken tikka masala but it was too creamy. And a lamb shank was tinder and cooked perfectly

Clive B.

Yelp
Kinara Kitchen is a truly excellent example of a high class Pakistani restaurant. Everything about the place reeks of class. Excellent restaurant, I mean its really nice inside. Not your normal experience. Excellent service, really professional waiters. Excellent menu, a menu based around seasonal food ( especially the fish courses ). Amazing food! The food is truly amazing. I first tried Kinara Kitchen at a BBQ festival, it was the best thing there. The following year, it was also the best thing there. We have been to the main restaurant a couple of times and I have loved the food both times. The only problem is this place is not particularly cheap. But for the quality of food and the restaurant its definitely worth it. Just writing this review makes me want to go there again!

Jenny F.

Yelp
I think it was the first time i had Pakistani food in Dublin. Good choice! I've never heard of this place before and never noticed it walking by. My friend wanted to go there because apparently they had a rooftop terrace which was nice for getting a Cocktail but unfortunately they completely closed the terrace :( anyway, we stayed for food and did get the early bird menu which was good valued. Food was super delicious and filling. Maybe a bit spicy for my taste but that's to be expected :) it does seem to get super busy so I recommend doing a reservation. I would definitley go again and recommend it.

Fergus M.

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal there tonight. The quality of food is the best I have had in any Indian restaurant I've been to. I can't speak highly enough of staff & ambiance. The management are very friendly, and have really worked nailed all the areas where Indian restaurants usually fall down; deserts, cocktails, choice of wines. Love it!

Eoin O.

Yelp
Claiming to be an authentic Pakistani restaurant, Kinara Kitchen certainly is in a class above the majority of Indian/Pakistani eateries in Dublin. Kinara Kichen suffers from a price imbalance, being considerably expensive for dinner time, but being very reasonable for lunch, with mains ranging from €10-€12. The Thali Lunch is a feast, providing a plate with a main dish of your coiche, the side dish of the day, pilau rice and two small naans. Food tasted glorious. The Makanwala Murghi was rich and creamy, perhaps a tad too buttery, but the chicken itself was delicate and delicious. The side dish (a chickpea curry) had a satisfying spicy kick (but most importantly, it emphasised the flavour as opposed to usurping it). You are also served crackers with a trio of sauces/chutneys as a sort of amuse-bouche. Staff were exceptionally friendly and the environment was casual but classy. Will certainly revisit. But at lunchtime.

Daniela H.

Yelp
Let's start with Cucumber Collins - a delicious Hendricks Gin cocktail OR maybe the Bourbon Old Fashioned? Any choice of that cocktail menu will NOT disappoint you, I am very sure! Before we left we went upstairs to the cocktail bar where they served us an Amaretto Sour (SUPER NICE) and a sour Gin cocktail, so good! The food - delicious, but I think it is a bit too steep for that what you get - main courses for 20/25 euro plus naan or rice or both...there are a lot if places in Dublin with a better deal. However I would go back - for the cocktails and the food, just: I am getting an early bird or midweek deal.

Lynn A.

Yelp
I am a huge Indian/Pakastani food fan. & I would have loved nothing more than to give this restaurant 5 stars as it is by far the best one I've visited in Dublin. They do a mixed platter starter which had a great variety on it and everything was delicious, the main courses were beautiful too & the naan bread was hot & fresh. We also had desserts (I had a mississippi mud pie that was to die for, but a little too big for me). I'll cut to the chase & get to why I'm giving just 2 stars. I booked this for a group of people from work, as I have done in many restaurants for many different groups over the years and have never EVER experienced anyone so rude as the waitor/host in this place. I booked a couple of weeks in advance & originally booked for 25 and for 6:30pm. The guy on the phone tried to insist that we come at 6pm but as I repeatedly explained to him, there is just no way we would make it from our office to their restaurant in time so we settled on 6:30pm. The week before I called them up to say that we actually now expected only about 16 people to arrive. He would not accept the fact that groups can be unpredictable (as any of you that have done a group booking for in the past may know). He demanded that I give him the exact number & when I explained that 16 is the best estimate I could make he proceeded to call me every day in the week running up to our meal to ask had our numbers changed in anyway. When we arrived in the restaurant, most of us got there for about 6:20, and at 6:40 we were still looking at the menu & chatting. We explained that we didn't expect many more at that point so if he wanted to re-arrange the tables so that he could use them for other customers he could. He proceeded to explain to me that we had booked for 6pm (not true) and he had called me every day to ask how many people were coming. I explained that we hadn't booked for 6pm, & I was aware of his daily calls but that unfortunately I had no control over whether the group actually came or not & I did do my best to ensure they didn't lose any business by calling them when I had a better estimate as well as asking them to rearrange the tables. He repeated that we had booked for 6pm & for 16 people & demanded that we order our starter immediately. As much as this was a little unpleasant (not to mention highly embarrassing for me) what happened next is what really got my goat.... They took FOREVER to serve us. We would most definitely had another 2 bottles of wine (we already had 4, 2 white 2 red) had their service been quicker & we waited a long time for extra sides that were ordered mid main. 2 stars because the food really was excellent but I will never return. Maybe I'll visit the sister restaurant sometime (in Clontarf).

Arsheen Q.

Yelp
Kinara Kitchen is sister restaurant of the Kinara Restaurant in Clontarf. Was there yesterday for lunch with three friends. The Lunch Menu is good value, we all got the thali lunch for €11.95 you get a main dish, side, 2 small pieces of naan bread and a portion of pilau rice. I got the Makanwala Murghi, which is one of the nicest butter chicken I have tasted at an Indian/Pak restaurant - the sauce is creamy and aromatic and the chicken pieces tender and soft. The side is chana masala ( a chickpea curry) which was good and the rice and naan were fresh. Desserts were good too - mango lassi and vanilla icecream with an asian twist (ice-cream topped with cashews, almonds and pistachios and a dessert sauce) Including tip we all paid about €20 each. The Lunch Menu has two vegetarian main dishes and a fish/prawn dish as well for your veggie and pescetarian friends!

Jemma C.

Yelp
Five star reviews are rare in my book and if possible I'd give Kinara a 6.... Hands down the best indian/ Pakistani food in dublin. Starters, mains, sides, breads and desserts. I mean COME ON! Who does every course this good and consistent? And the cocktails. Oh the cocktails. With award winning master mixologist Paul Lambert controlling the bar how can you even begin to complain? His drinks are reason enough for me to fly home for a weekend solely to eat here. I have literally driven straight from the airport at times. How ppl complain about the staff is beyond me! They're super lovely, professional and most of all friendly (for the lady who posted a complaint about the restaurant being somewhat pissed off when she booked a table for 25, then reduced it to 16 then turned up with even less on the night and couldn't understand their annoyance esp as she allowed them rearrange all of the empty tables she'd book?? Really?? Seriously?). Anyway I digress. If you like great food, drink and service get yourself to Kinara. You won't be disappointed.

Angela D.

Yelp
It's been about four months since I've eaten here, but I decided to write this 5-star review tonight because I had Indian food for dinner and it was, as it has been since I ate at Kinara Kitchen, just "fine". I've been to Kinara kitchen twice, and both times I left not only fat and happy, but pleased at the customer service. The first time my friend and I got a curry and a tikka masala, and both were clearly crafted with care (and a lot of spices!). The garlic naan out of the oven was just the kind of crispy while pillowy soft that indicates expertise, and even the wine recommendation was on point! The second time I came for dinner with a much larger party and we got everything from curries to tandoori chicken to vegetarian paneers, you name it. I tried everyones dishes and the consensus was that it was one of the best places for Indian/Pakistani cuisine in the world (we were from all over and had been to many an Indian restaurant, including India itself). Highly recommend this place! Oh - and at the end of my first visit, it was raining buckets outside, and the man at the door allowed my friend and I to take an umbrella to stay out of the rain. Amazing!

Victoria C.

Yelp
The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because I only had drinks and spent most of the evening in the beer garden and this is called Kinara kitchen after all. This place is so beautiful, at first it was a bit strange as we were greeted by a man wearing a beautiful traditional (I assume), Indian outfit, seriously it was gorgeous. Moving on, I was there with a large group of friends for a celebration and we had a reservation for upstairs, the man in the beautiful outfit then proceeded to call upstairs and we had to be buzzed in and walk up a bunch of stairs, it all added to the mystique. Let me just tell you that this place has comfy seating, dimmed lights and incredible music seriously this is a hidden gem, not a place you would go to meet people as it is quite small but great for gorups or friends or dates. Staff was fun and friendly. All in all a great place and if the upstairs is half as good as the food then I am in serious trouble.

Geraldine C.

Yelp
Best seafood I've had in I don't know how long! I'm nearly getting weak at the knees just thinking about those Tandoori Scallops again... The prawn starter was nearly as good too. The people working there were great banter, and the decor is pretty plush; definitely somewhere I'd recommend for a splash-out dinner.

David S.

Yelp
Great food. Had the thali lunch and it was perfect. Lovely flavours. I will be back. Also gret popadums.

Barry D.

Yelp
Amazing service, amazing food, best restaurant I've been to in a long time. Highly recommend, knockout!

Oisín M.

Yelp
Been here many times and it is always excellent. The waiters are super friendly and the food is really delish! Head upstairs afterwards for a cheeky drink in their superb cocktail bar. Paul (head barman) is a true gent. If you love Pakistani food you must try this place. Also, their Electric Picnic spread was outstanding! Yum!

Sean O.

Yelp
Second time at Kinara Kitchen in Ranelagh, last time was about a year ago. In a nutshell - food excellent (as it was the last time), service a little bit dodgy (as in, several savings required for certain things - like beers / water refresh). Overall though - really really good. We shared starters (beef, potatoes), and mains (both lamb), plus a side dish (also potatoes with tomatoes), Nan, rice. We had too much food! The side was over-doing it :-) The food *is* great, and it was pretty busy (Thursday night). Nice "room" also, as they say. I will definitely be back - this is a notch above most other Indian / Pakinstani restaurants I've tried.

Sam S.

Yelp
I will rate this place once again in a few weeks after I have been back a second time and tried a few new dishes. The starters were amazing Malai Tikka and Behari Kebab contained excellent quality meat and packed a punch. The mains were a bit of a let down if you ask me. The nehari ghosth was lacking flavour and the palak paneer was too sweet for my liking. Service was great and ambience is terrific. Will come back again just to have the yummy starters.

Chloe C.

Yelp
The staff. The ambience. The food. Insane 5/5 for Kinara Kitchen. Mouth watering at the thought of going back. Brilliantly cater for coeliacs

Alexandra C.

Yelp
I went to Kinara Kitchen before going to see the Hundred-Foot Journey to put me in the mood, since they are known for their wine and cocktails as well as Eastern food (perfect for an East meets West theme dinner). The food was delicious and the nan was hot when it came out. It also went perfectly with the movie theme. That being said, like in other reviews, the nan came out when we were almost done with our meals; defeating the point of ordering nan. It was very expensive as I went on a Friday night. I liked that the popadoms and chutneys to start were free and very tasty, however charging for extra rice and nan seemed unnecessary when the prices of the entrees were already double the price of the same meal in another restaurant. They also have printed on their menus that you cannot order their food for take-away. I wish the food had been worse so that I wouldn't want to go back; I think I will have to try again with early bird.

Sean E.

Yelp
Classy spot with seriously tasty Indian food but expect to pay the slightly inflated Ranelagh prices sadly. One tip: get in for the earlybird. Well worth the €23 for two courses. Staff are almost "too friendly" but hey, it's better than them being rude right? There's a cheaper Indian right next door that I haven't tried but interesting competition element!

John F.

Yelp
I've been here 3 times and it never disappoints. They're good for reservations an will always try to fit you in. Four of us went for dinner recently on Saturday night. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. They had a good wine selection, which was ok value. I had the lamb Korma, which was excellent. All of us enjoyed the meal. Two of us ordered desserts which took a long time to come, but the staff did tell us there was a problem preparing the them and that they would be a delay, so I don't think anyone minded too much. All in all, a really good restaurant and one that I'll frequent again!

Miriam R.

Yelp
Have been here several times - highly recommend the Tikka masala and prawns as a starter! Great menu, wonderful cocktails and superb staff! Slightly on the expensive side (12 euro approx for starters, 25 for mains) for Indian food but well worth it!

Wanda M.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious place to eat. Every single part about this experience was amazing. All courses were some of the best food I've had in Dublin thus far. The service was very attentive and friendly as well. My boyfriend and I couldn't get over this place. We had the charcoal lamb for the starter, red snapper and chicken Korma for the mains with rice and naan bread, and strawberry cheesecake for dessert. My sister is coming to visit from NYC and I cannot wait to bring her to this delicious place!!

Sarah P.

Yelp
So on my continuing quest for a great curry in Dublin (or ireland) kinara was my next stop. Had recommendations so was hopeful.... Early bird menu sun-thurs of 3 courses for 22e. Opted for tempura prawns starter. Succulent. Tasty. Off to a good start. .... Lamb kofte curry for main served with pilau rice and nan bread. And this is where is started to fall down for me :( The curry itself was tasty. Good meat. Lots of flavour. However perhaps a little dry for my liking. The rice was miserable. I expect fluffy little grains sadly not clumps stuck together like the stuff you get out of the microwave. And as for the nan. Saddest flattest excuse for nan I've seen. More like a chapati. Which is great. If I want a chapati. I want a nan! Like a cloud!! Oh I feel like my challenge is going to continue on and on. Decor wise I liked the place. Perhaps a bit loud for a Thursday evening and difficult to make conversation. I may give it another chance. Just to see if the a la carte options make any difference. I would like to hope that maybe it would......

Mariam A.

Yelp
I was there today, The food was awesome!!!! the staff were so kind, I had chicken biryani and Tikka masala, well definitely It deserves the 5 *****

Loo H.

Yelp
Nice food and good service! Never expect to find such a good indian restaurant in dublin.

Peter H.

Yelp
The mid week early bird here is fantastic value with a great selection of traditional, well prepared, dishes. It also guarantees a few patrons and with them a decent atmosphere. Don't be surprised if your mid week value meal turns out a bit more expensive than you had hoped however; their cocktails are another main draw and they ain't cheep.

Liz J.

Yelp
Really delicious food and lovely atmosphere. I had the tikka masala, which was different than I'm used to it in the U.S. (where it is usually a tomato-based sauce). This was an almond/cashew sauce which was creamy and flavorful. I tried both the garlic naan and the one (whose name I'm forgetting) that was filled with a nut/raisin paste (I think) and both were delicious. I only wish I didn't live 5,000 miles away or I'd come here all the time!

Greg P.

Yelp
This was my second time back. Their early bird is limited. Starter was small, well presented and tasty. Main course was minced lamb but I think I've cooked nicer chilli con carne dishes. Desert was ice cream. The early bird is not great value in fairness. Your better off getting a full main course in the butchers grill up the road or elsewhere.

Rosalind S.

Yelp
Really nice curries, would recommend the paneer. Portions are big and the curries are quite rich and creamy - you'll feel like having a lie down after, be warned. The cocktail bar upstairs is a well kept secret, Dave behind the bar makes some fab cocktails. Stayed up there all evening with friends and he made up drinks for us on request.

Dean K.

Yelp
First time there today and itbwas amazing. Never had that type of food before and the beef naan wrap was so good! Service was great too, all the staff were very friendly. Lunch was quite affordable too and also came with a small starters. Highly recommended next time I'm in ranlagh!

Fatima A.

Yelp
I did like my dish, but we waited for more than hour for it to arrive. I am still baffled by the way we were treated by the service.

Julia D.

Yelp
Excellent food and ambience but the service was terrible. The staff could do with a smile once in a while

C M.

Yelp
The cocktail bar is great craic. Was never a big fan of cocktails but the bar man, is a wizard. The trick is to go up and ask him to make you a cocktail, without ordering anything specific, he'll ask you (ive forgotten his name) some questions and hey presto, amazing cocktail. Not the cheapest, but well worth it

Ide T.

Yelp
Worth every cent every time. Early bird 19.95, four courses, come hungry! Although a little more expensive outside early bird hours, it is worth it for the choice and good food. Muneeb is such a lovely waiter and remembers names, even if you haven't been around for a while! We have moved to Limerick and have yet to go somewhere where the food is of such high quality and tastes as nice!

Ghaneema A.

Yelp
The two stars are for the "good" food. The service on the other hand was awful. We waited one hour for our orders and the waitresses and waiters were beyond rude. Very disappointed!

Lauren H.

Yelp
Delicious food, good atmosphere, but the cocktails were subpar and everything was a bit pricey.

Micah C.

Yelp
So Kinara is one of the first places I bookmarked when we moved to Ranelagh last fall but for some reason it just hasn't made it into our weekend plans. I finally gave them a call late last week and they said they could fit us in late Saturday night. We rolled in a bit late for the reservation but they were really nice and simply took us to our booth. We had already downed some wine and starters at Taste of Dublin so opted for a caraf of shiraz and figured we'd go a little lighter than normal. When our waiter came by I told him I was torn between a few of the chicken dishes. I rattled them off and he immediately settled on the Makanwala Murghi so I obliged. J went with the Jhinga Khara Masala and we decided to split an order of basmati rice and paneer nan. The place was quite nice inside and very lively with several larger party sizes. When the food arrived, the portions seemed so small but once I helped myself to some rice and started to spoon the chicken and sauce onto my plate it became apparent that the bowls were misleading - it was the perfect amount of food. My sauce was excellent. Lightly sweet and so good with the paneer nan. I like the chicken at Punjabi next door a little better but still found their chicken to be juicy and full of flavour. Really great dish. J's masala was really nice and the tiger prawns were hearty and had great texture. Once we finished the waiter brought our bill which was topped with two little coconut balls. I love when places have little touches like this and of course never mind a free mini dessert. Our final bill didn't end up being too terrible but that was mostly because we opted for the caraf instead of bottle and because we got our starters elsewhere. Overall we really enjoyed our food and won't go so long between our next visit.

Rowan M.

Yelp
Bad experience!!! Bad service!! and very rude waitresses !!. The food was okey, not good and not bad ( i would rate it 3 star) indian or pakistani food. It took ages for the waitress to take our orders and then when we got our starters they took it out of the table (no sorry or excuse me!) and took it to another table then back to the other waiters and then after few minutes they decided its ours ( Olala) .We ordered different dishes, but, mine pleek paneer was too sweet for me and creamy. Another thing, they dont seem to offer mild or spicy choices and the food was too spicy for me. After we had our main dishes we asked for the cheque and a waiter comes in to clean the table roughly (again no excuse me or can you please take ur stuff ) and asks my friend to give him the fork on the table in an order ( give me the fork!) and he did not even look at us, he was chatting with his friend. Then the rude waitress comes again with the card machine and starts giving weird looks to me and my friends and talks to the other waitress in a certain language that we don't understand, and I am sure she knew how rude she was with us the whole time. Before my friends and I leave the place, I thought it would be nice to pay them back and I left a note on the receipt (with my lipstick as non of us had a pen: Bad Service) and we left them their tip (although they don't deserve it) .

Yelp
Having set out for another place only to find it had closed down we strayed in here for dinner, what a great find. OK so the place is a little more up market than we usually find but the food was excellent with service to match. Lots of dishes that we were unfamiliar with on the menu, we chose a melt in the mouth marinaded beef dish for one starter and squid for the other. Both were really good and generous portions. Mains were a mild butter chicken type dish and a lightly spicy beef dish. The beef dish was thick slices of tender beef in a spicy tomato sauce, really generous. The chicken was all juicy breast meat and was lightly spice, we also had butter naan and some spinach paneer which was great. Rice was modest in volume but good. Overall we were impressed with the quality, it could have been a little cheaper but to be honest coming from the UK we find Dublin prices are always a little high.
