Wonderful Charming and Welcoming atmosphere. Jasmine at front desk was exceptional in greeting us, gave us a reasonable rate for a walk up booking. Left an Anne of Green Gables box of chocolates for us in our room as a token anniversary gift. She even set aside a couple of cookies for us as we were out for dinner and missed the Inn's guest get together that evening. Room was lovely and spotless. Grounds are beautiful. Pool was clean and well maintained. Included breakfast in morning was lovely. Highly recommend.

I stayed this past weekend as part of a literary festival and it was amazing! Spacious, spotless cottage, delicious breakfast, great location. More than that though, they went above and beyond on my last evening. I'd had a few appetizers for dinner and everything in the area was closed for the night/season. I entered my cottage to find a little box of cookies. When I messaged to say thank you and why it was perfect, they then sent over a little snack box with fruit, juice, cheese, etc. ! It was the sweetest thing. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Lovely traditional hotel based on two houses and several cabins. Staff were friendly, and very helpful. Lots of amenities such as a laundry and a pool. Room was massive and well equipped. Only downside was sound proofing was poor - seems to be par of the course with old properties - so you can hear other guests (bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise). Right next to beach and Anne of Green Gables house (you can enter grounds by walking through hotel hedge and crossing golf course. We took photos of house and visited grounds after hours in the evening, then first through doors at 9am the next day (we toured house alone; such a treat).|Generous breakfast buffet with lots of variety (but do not expect home cooked food). It was fine. |Would recommend!

Once again what a wonderful time we had at Kindred Spirits. It is our favorite place to stay on PEI. The staff are wonderful, very helpful. The breakfast supplied is so wonderful and it is great to meet people from all over . The beds are very comfortable, the room is always neat and tidy and provides a very peaceful sleep. The amenities (swimming pool, hot tub, play areas for children and adults) are first class. It is very central to be able to do day trips to any place on the island.

We had a great experience here! We stayed in a room in the inn. It was so cozy and homey. We felt like we were staying with a loving friend, but of course with our own room and privacy. The pool and hot tub were lovely, the breakfast was delicious (so fresh! The best breakfast we had on our 16-day trip!), and the rooms had DVDs players and a fun movie library you could borrow from in the lobby. I also loved the matching blankets/curtains and the fun, clunky keys! We were so close to all of the Anne of Green Gables attractions I wanted we see. We never drove more than 20 minutes to get anywhere. I highly recommend, and I hope to stay here again one day!

What a lovely stay we had at Kindred Spirits Inn. It a peaceful, very well kept Inn. Lots of love and pride of ownership goes into this Inn. Very good location for all the things you want to do in the area. Everyone was very helpful in giving you ideas of what to do or where to go. Very friendly and willing to take the time to chat with you. We had a room in the Inn, I believe the smallest room but that is all we needed as we were gone all day. Was very clean and well kept. Breakfast was also very good just what we needed to start our day. The blueberry jam and blueberry waffle topping not to be missed. As well as the homemade bisquits and muffins. |We would definitely come back and stay again. Highly recommend |Thank you for a lovely stay, Cindy and Paul (the rainmakers). Hope you got some!

A wonderful stop in your PEI adventure if you want pleasant hosts, clean rooms, comfy beds and a fun compound filled with family activities. Very quiet and surrounded by woods. Trail directly to Green Gables and golf course. Highly recommend.

I kept sitting out on the lawn thinking, I want to come back here, and I want to bring many more people! This was such a lovely place to stay for 5 days as we explored everything around PEI. Cavendish itself can feel very touristy, but this Inn is tucked away off the main road and it gives you a real sense of calm. It's also basically next door to the main LM Montgomery/Anne museum, and we were able to take an evening walk on Lovers Lane by just popping out our door and walking across the golf course. I'd definitely stay here again. Hosts were super helpful. Only wish the hot tub had been working when we were there! They were waiting on a part, so I assume it's usually in service. ||Additionally, the playground and field area is large and such a good fit if you have kids. Plenty of space for them to run around and be loud without irritating other guests.

Yelp
We had a 2 bedroom cottage that was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were well kept, and the staff was friendly. The water pressure in the shower was good, and the kitchen was stocked with the basics.

Yelp
We stayed here this summer for the 100th anniversary of Anne of Green Gables. We stayed in a wonderful cottage w/my sister-in-law+husband and mother/father-in-law. It was large and roomy with nice kitchen and living room areas. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious and different each morning. When we booked, we did it as a package and also got books, passes to several attractions/museums and tickets to 2 musicals. The location was perfect. We were able to get to most of the places we wanted to go quickly and easily. I would definitely recommend staying here again.

Yelp
Nice clean and confortable place. Super conveniently located in the center of all things Cavendish. Within walking distance to green gables, the lake of shining waters, the beach/ national park, and several restaurants. Staff are all lovely. The breakfast is delicious, and varies every day.

Yelp
I stayed here this past Saturday evening with my girlfriend. As we were checking in I mentioned to the innkeeper that we would not be attending breakfast the next morning as we were both doing the PEI marathon events. Upon hearing this she told us that they would pack us a brown bag breakfast which would be available later. Can you say awesome! We had reserved a quality room here and were shown to it by the innkeeper immediately after our check in. The room ended up being the pool suite with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with jacuzzi tub upstairs and a sitting room with TV and DVD player downstairs. At this point we were also informed that they had tea at 8 PM every night and we could pick up our lunches then. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with the bed being comfortable. I can also imagine that it would be awesome in the summer as their swimming pool was located right outside of the downstairs sitting room. We ended up arriving shortly after 8 PM for a cup of tea and had a good time in the Inn's sitting room talking to some of the other guests. While there we picked up our brown bag breakfasts to find that they had a breakfast bar, bag of nuts, apple and a juice box in them. Before we left the main sitting area we also decided to peruse their movie collection and grab one to watch on the DVD player. The selection was decent and we settled on an English Harry Potter movie (they had it in French as well). My only disappointment with their selection is that I did not see the Anne of Green Gables movie which I thought was a lock seeing how this Inn is literally right next door to the house.. The bottom line for me is that I would definitely stay here in the future. They were super accommodating to us and I think that we got a good value for what we paid, I only wish that we would have gotten to try their breakfast in the morning

Yelp
This place was lovely. Clean, fantastic shaded playground, nice pool and hot tub, friendly staff and great location. Why only 3 stars? When my family goes to a cottage we think campfire! This place is lacking the usual pit per cottage. We could maybe possibly get past it, as there is a big communal fire pit. However, you had to rent it for $25!!!! Yes it included wood, marshmallows, and roasting sticks, but that price is ridiculous! I didn't see one fire while we were there. This takes away from the cosy atmosphere. At the very least there should be a nightly fire made by staff (I've seen this at other places with a communal fire pit) or lower the price to a reasonable amount. Or even make it free - and charge for wood if you must. I would stay here again in a minute if not for this very much lacking piece.

Yelp
This is a quaint and cute place located just next door to the National Historic Green Gables House. The main inn consists of a dozen or so rooms, all decorated with pastel floral prints and white wicker furniture. We stayed at the inn for one night during low season in a 'Quality' room (e.g. the most economical room for $85/night). Furnishings, appliances, and room decor were fairly simple, but floors and bathroom fixtures were pretty updated. Walls were a little thin and I could hear faint voices in the next room, and counter or table space was a little lacking in the room (for storage or setting down items). However, the staff was especially friendly. They contacted a local restaurant for us in order to enquire whether they were open that day. In the evening, we were welcomed to sit in the parlour and chat with other guests. We met some charming people from Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Canada and the US while staff served tea and freshly baked cookies. They were also kind enough to prepare a large packed breakfast for us the next morning, since we had to depart early. Lovely place but even lovelier staff and guests. Thank you, Al and Sharon, for your hospitality.
