Excellent architecture, loved visiting. The color schemes and elements to the environment are remarkable. Mostly crowded but well maintained and relaxing. There are a variety of things one can do and plan here. The staff is cooperative and well behaved.

I visited Ithra on the first Wednesday of the month when entry is free. The architecture is stunning, and the whole place is very clean and quiet. It’s the perfect spot for book lovers, students, researchers, and anyone interested in arts, history, or gaining knowledge. The open spaces are large, providing plenty of room to read and study comfortably. It’s more of an educational and cultural hub rather than a family picnic spot. Highly recommended for anyone seeking inspiration or a peaceful environment to learn.

A world-class destination that redefines the cultural scene. The building itself is a masterpiece, especially at golden hour. The museums, library, and exhibitions are top-notch and incredibly engaging. Highlights: · Stunning architecture (perfect for photography). · The library is a quiet haven with a vast collection. · The Energy Exhibit is fun and educational for all ages. · Constantly hosting international events and workshops. · Impeccably clean and staff are very helpful. A must-visit for any tourist or resident in Saudi Arabia. It's a true beacon of knowledge and art.

We were there on the Founding day holiday and they had many activities going on. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece with its curves and geometrical shapes. We visited the various sections including the library and gaming zones. Everything was well organized and professionally arranged. We had fun and enjoyed our time.

I recently visited Ithra, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture in Dhahran, and it was an incredible experience. The building itself is stunning — a futuristic design that immediately catches your eye. Inside, there’s so much to explore: a museum, a library, a theater, a cinema, an innovation lab, and even a dedicated space for children. I loved how the center blends art, science, and culture in such an interactive and engaging way. There were exhibitions and workshops that felt both educational and inspiring, and I appreciated how it showcased local Saudi talent while also introducing global perspectives. It’s a great place for families, solo visitors or anyone curious about culture and creativity. The only downside I noticed was that some displays had limited English translations, but overall, it didn’t take away from the experience. Ithra left me feeling both enlightened and inspired — definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting the Eastern Province.

King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, is a cultural landmark with a museum, library, theater, and art galleries. I really loved it because the design is beautiful and there are many activities to enjoy. The only thing I dislike is that it gets too crowded on weekends. Ithra is known for its big library and international exhibitions. It is a great place for families and students. I recommend booking tickets online, going early, and wearing comfortable shoes because the place is large. Visiting Ithra is an amazing experience that you will definitely enjoy.

A beautiful day at Ithra with my daughter! We explored the Children’s Museum—full of creative workshops and fun educational games—and had the bonus of enjoying the Japanese Cultural Festival happening at the same time! We also stopped by their stunning library, home to thousands of books for all ages. Truly a hidden gem in the heart of the Eastern Province.

Ithra is an iconic place in khobar and a great value for families, entertainment, learning, and fun. Daily and diverse activities are always available. Membership prices are very reasonable, but you should frequently manage to visit and follow the activities updates. Basically, if you live in the eastern region, you should visit this place at once.
