We visited on a warm sunny day so found seating outside. In an area I call the secret garden photo below. The staff are friendly but it is very busy. They did tell us how long we would have to wait. So we ordered and went for a walk and came back. We had light much but the afternoon teas looked delicious too.

No better place to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. Food and surroundings are exquisite. Highly recommend Royal Afternoon Tea - expensive, but worth every penny. You won't be disappointed

Really nice olde worlde vibe to the place, alas winter is fewer covers as the garden isn't available and still wait times are In excess of expectations (20 mins for coffee and cake). However the service was lovely and my wee man loved the experience and we were made to.fill welcome

Very nice our pet Maxx was allowed in as it was quiet and a bit nippy outside in the garden. We had some lovely sandwiches and cake along wit tea. No cheap by any means for what you had however it was very good and fresh.

Cream or High Tea in a secret garden... what could be more delightful in good weather? The service is very good, the scones, clotted cream and jam excellent, and the setting is magical. Lunch is also offered.

Yelp
Perfection in simplicity! An English garden, and English tea. Simply a perfect example of English hospitality and food. We started with a. Choice of teas / earl grey, rose hips and hibiscus teas. this was classic Earl Grey tea in English fashion. I could not have wanted for more! The breakdown: Me: goat cheese, red onion and red pepper tart - good, could have been seasoned better MommaK: Wiltshire rare bit - awesome! Glammom: same - same! BBGa: brixton crab salad - meh, not a lot of the crab fl our coming out / she shared with MommaK BBGm: tomato and goat cheese salad: good and gone! The inside and outside dining areas were equally beautiful and well worth the time spent. This was more a spectacle then meal (but the meal was pretty good too!)

Yelp
An excellent place to have tea and lunch in their beautiful garden when the weather is nice. Best lunch! Located to the right of the bakery.
