What stood out most was the ongoing expansion, which is clearly being planned with long-term growth and passenger comfort in mind. The introduction of two clearly defined levels—ground level dedicated to arrivals and an upper level reserved for departures—is a thoughtful approach that significantly enhances passenger flow and reduces congestion. This separation creates a smoother, more organised journey, particularly during peak travel times. Arriving passengers can move quickly through immigration and baggage claim without interference from departing traffic, while departures benefit from a calmer, more streamlined process. The terminal interiors feel spacious, clean, and well signposted, making navigation straightforward even for first-time visitors. Staff were professional and helpful, contributing to an overall sense of efficiency and hospitality. Beyond functionality, the airport carries a sense of ambition and progress. The expansion works demonstrate a forward-looking vision, positioning the airport to handle increasing international traffic with ease. King Khalid International Airport is a very large and modern airport. It is clean, well maintained, and well organized. There are many chocolate shops, duty-free stores, and liquor shops available. The airport has smooth transfer facilities and efficient check-in and security processes. Charging points are available everywhere, which is very convenient for travelers. With so many shops and services, the airport feels more like a shopping mall. Overall, it offers a comfortable and smooth travel experience.

I flew into Riyadh airport and I must say the airport is welcoming and very homely. I like the architecture and the colour combination, bright, lively and very warmly. One thing out of others that I found exciting was the bird view flying into Riyadh when approaching landing into the airport was the landscape design (attached photo refers). The directions in the underground parking could be improved. It's a right headache finding the car exit.

King Khalid International Airport is a modern and well-organised airport with spacious terminals and clear signage. The airport feels clean and calm, making travel comfortable. Facilities are good, staff are helpful, and the overall experience is smooth and pleasant for passengers. ✈️

I visited Terminal 1 for the first time since its renovation. It has truly been beautifully decorated, and visually, the building couldn’t have been renewed any better. There are many cafés, restaurants, and kiosks offering a wide variety of products. The organization is excellent, with enough information desks where staff provide friendly assistance. The signage is clear and effective, making it easy to reach anywhere by following the directions. Security and passport control were quite fast. I left Terminal 1 with a great experience and headed to my flight.

This is the main airport of Saudi Arabia, and this is very big airport like any other 1st world country. I used this airport for travel to Bangladesh multiple times. It’s a big airport and they r service is very good. You can takeoff for anywhere from this airport.

I believe Saudi needs to plan more towards their Airport when focusing on 2030 Expo. More English speaking staff are required for various services. I can see most of the international travellers find difficulties when communicating with airport official staff/Control staff.

Five stars for Riyadh Airport — truly one of the most advanced and well-maintained airports I’ve experienced. From the moment you enter, the atmosphere is calm, spacious, and impressively organized. The architecture is modern and elegant, using high-quality materials that give a refined, upscale feel throughout the terminal. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here — the restrooms are spotless, hygienic, and even pleasantly scented, which adds to the overall comfort. The climate inside is perfectly controlled and well-ventilated, making it a very comfortable space to wait or walk around in, even during longer layovers. One of the highlights is how smoothly passport control works. Thanks to a well-organized system and plenty of staff available, there are rarely long queues — everything moves quickly and efficiently. It’s a great example of how a busy international airport can still feel calm, clean, and guest-friendly. Well done to the entire management and team. Highly recommended!
