King Size Pub

Great size pub, there was a live DJ playing some really good older tracks. The crowd was much younger than my group of visiting old Canadians but we never felt out of place. Pizza was to die for, just the right amount of spiciness. The beer giraffe was quite something!!!

Very good place with a great, young, energetic ambiance to drink something with friends, watch a game, or eat something. Parking is just nearby and prices are on the average side. One tip I can give.. If you go there to watch a match, make sure you reserved your table in advance!

Ordered fish and chips. Chips were excellent, fish was horrible. Very disappointing.

Great service and atmosphere. Good location and the staff were super helpful. I know it’s not restaurant but even they can improve more than that. It was ok.

Don’t be fooled! If you choose Nachos on the menu what they mean is chips and salsa for 12 CHF. Nachos normally consist of yummy melted cheese with added veggies, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa with an option to add meat. This was disappointing and to think I could make this at home for a fraction of what they charge. Service was not the best and they had hard rock metal music playing. Not a classy place. Don’t recommend food but good for a quick drink with friends.

A very nice pub, which could do with a facelifting. The interior looks very used. Two people behind the bar are not enough and make for long waiting. The food was okay.

You better watch watch your things if don’t want to be robbed. I was distracted and have my jacket robbed in my presence for adolescents. The bar says is our responsibility, so if you want to go to this bar don’t take your eyes out of your stuffs, or you can go home in the cold. Luck mine my bag was on my lap and also the gloves, but they stole a coat and a scarf.

Giant pub feelt like I was already back in the US, except the football on the giants screens was not the American one. The name of the establishment is nothing short of what it is. Food was a bit pricey but normal for Switzerland I guess.

Good english pub. Great choice of beers, draught or bottles. Often overcrowded on evenings, but a nice place to be before watching a movie or partying around the Flon. No Wifi (wifi sticker, but no connection)

Dark, gloomy, and upsetting. This English pub seems to be here, quite literally, to serve the smattering of English businessmen and their bored families while attending a very serious conference in downtown Ouchy. early Radiohead and Oasis blares from the sound system as boy-men in striped shirts sing along. MIddle aged platinum blondes, thick fringed and obese, nurse enormous pints of second rate beer as they zone out watching footy on the telly. It's everything people leave England to get away from, and what's more, it's fetishised. Give it a miss - there's too much fun to be had in this city to waste your time here.
