Yelp
Beer is great however they need some work on their pizza. Way too much flour and the crust has no flavor. every bite was a mouth full of flour.

Paul K.

Yelp
By far the best Hef in Alaska, if not the best in the whole US! King Street you never disappoint, and today the beer and brats Octoberfest was on point! A great way to spend a dreary Alaskan fall day. The and Irish Stout was very tasty too! And of course Ms. Maggie is the best server ever and always has a friendly smile!

Yelp
Accidentally stumbled into King by Street Brewing after my hike to Flattop Mountain when I was trying to find Anchorage Brewing Company. This multilevel brewery is so cool. I ordered a flight of beers along with a pretzel. Enjoyed the sunset and the ambiance here. Will come back again when I am in Anchorage!

Yelp
I can't believe my wife booked a beer tour: she hates beer, but she knows I like it. She really loves me. Beer brewing used to be a passion of mine, and getting to see how the pros do it really kick started my love of beer brewing for me. I realize not everyone is a beer nut like I am, but if you like beer, you came to the right place. There's a wide range of brews here, and trying a beer flight lets you sample up to 7 at a time. The Beyond X is a surprisingly smooth barley wine. This really needs to be in your beer flight. If you're bored with IPAs, give the Black IPA a try: the roasted barley notes really balance the hops nicely. The Dunkelweisen is a German dark wheat that I can see becoming my go-to beer. The kolsch is another excellent German beer that might make you change your mind about having a lager. Seriously...try it if you usually order lagers. The dry hopped cider was a revelation: not sweet, not tart...just smooth. If you don't like beer, order this or the regular (unhopped) cider. And....you can get a tour of the brewery! This started with a walkthrough of the different grains...and a sampler of the grains. You get to nibble on the grains that King Street turns into these incredible brews. Some have a nutty quality. Seeing the process and walking through the brewery is impressive: there's a lot of quality control to ensure that the final product is perfect every time. And, the people here are all really cool, which helps with the overall experience. Very reasonable prices certainly help, too. If someone you know loves beer, do them a favor and bring them here. They will thank you for it.

Yelp
Great place. Food is a little limited but the staff makes up for the shortcomings. Severs stories of seating options with not stellar views, but decent. The beer and cider were all good and well made. I would gladly return for another pizza and brew.

Mike M.

Yelp
Awesome selection of incredible beer at a fantastic price. Anytime you can get 3 beers for the price of 2 anywhere else is a bonus. Everyone there is very cheerful and fun making it a great place to meet friends for a quick beer or linger a bit and share a pizza. You won't find all the fancy rutabaga artichoke and bean sprouts but a slice of pepperoni pizza for $3? Try to find that somewhere else. They also have a lot of other choices if you order a whole pizza. All in all this is my go to spot as it is located where it is a short drive for all my friends to meet.

Tara R.

Yelp
Super cool facility with multiple levels, although I stayed on the bottom floor. I had been drinking their beer all week from other locations and finally made a stop in to have one there. I enjoyed the King Street IPA and their other hazy IPA.

Clay W.

Yelp
King Street has an awesome location, it is very industrial and modern. Staff have always been warm and welcoming, quick to answer questions or shoot the shit while taking a pour. Have come in a few times after a long hike with friends, or just to swing by and chat. Plenty of room to sit and have a beer or two and kick it. Most recently had their Oktoberfest and a blonde, neither disappointed. I've never had a bad brew from KS. Whether it's having their refreshing grapefruit beer in the summer or a darker, full bodied brew in the winter - it always seems to be a crowd pleaser when it's coming from these guys

Andrew S.

Yelp
Good beer and meh food (I preferred when there was no kitchen and instead a rotating cast of food trucks) but this place really shines for seemingly unlimited seating, less expensive house-brewed beer than elsewhere, nice ambiance, and summer sun on the roof.

Rez P.

Yelp
I have been a fan since my first beer in Anchorage. I went to the old tap room and had some great times. Fun conversations with people and staff. The vibe has not changed. The staff is fun and great to be around. It is also great having multiple floor seating choices. The pizza was really tasty! This will always be a stop for me.

Yelp
This brewery is another gem off Dimond Blvd and King Street. It only took my first visit, to know this is a place I will frequent. Ample parking is available. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and clean. There are lots of windows that give the space great lighting. Definitely an industrial vibe. I loved the hanging rope lights hung in various places throughout the space. The workers were welcoming, knowledgeable, and conversational. King Street has a great variety of taps and cans available at affordable prices. This visit, I tried their OJ Hefe and loved it. I stayed downstairs where there were live plants. I can't wait to return to experience the upstairs area and try other taps. King Street may not have Familia (iykyk), but don't sleep on them. I believe they have rotating food trucks parked outside with a schedule online. Highly recommend.

Zak L.

Yelp
Beer is good. (According to my wife, since I don't drink beer.). Pizza was VERY raw on the dough. Guess they're still learning. (Hoping it gets better.)

Shawn P.

Yelp
A nice, modern tasting area with plenty of variety on tap. Beers are very reasonably priced with little to no wait at the counter. Can get a bit busy but one can usually find a table to sit at while sampling their wares.

Meagan K.

Yelp
Super friendly, welcoming staff and it's a beautiful building. Nice upper deck for out door seating. Not a huge beer fan but they have some hard ciders that are kind of amazing.

David S.

Yelp
Nice selection, good company . No food available on a Thursday afternoon but we did enjoy the beers that we tasted. The staff was very helpful in selecting the beers that fit my taste preferences..

Samantha R.

Yelp
This place is super dope, I know it's like new new but this place is going to be hopping. The rooftop section is dope and they have games. We placed Uno practically the whole time.

Jason F.

Yelp
I stopped by here earlier today on my own some afternoon libations. The taproom that they have is massive and gives off a very industrial feel. It has exposed ductwork with concrete floors and a lot of other exposed metal and wood throughout. I think there are two stories to the place too but I didn't ventured up the stairs which happened to be smack dab in the middle of the taproom. There were also giant windows on the wall opposite the entrance where you could see their whole brewing operation. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a sampler here. They had 3 options of 4 oz pours here: 1 for $1.75, 4 for $6 or 7 for $9.50. Since I was killing some time I chose the 7 sampler option and chose the hefeweizen, gold lager, APA, IPA, cryo hopped Ale, sour and stout. All of the beers were good representations of their types with the APA being my favorite. I really appreciated its hit you hard in the face with hops at the start while keeping that flavor for awhile. If I had to pick a least favorite of the bunch it would have to be the golden lager. That's not for any particular reason other than it's probably my least favorite style of all the I chose. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. All of the beers that I tried were good representations of their styles and I really liked their APA.

Houston H.

Yelp
King Street has been my favorite Brewing Co since I moved to Alaska. More specifically the Hazy IPA

Daniella A.

Yelp
This brewery has great ambiance. Plentiful seating options including an outdoor patio and roof top deck. Probably the biggest brewery in town outside of those with restaurants. They have a popcorn machine, and tons of board games for entertainment which are very nice touches. Industrial vibe, and chill atmosphere. The bartenders are nice and knowledgeable. Their beers are straight to the point classic versions of each style. My favorites are their ipa and hefe. They also have some fruit infused beer for the summertime? The prices are pretty much the same no matter what beer style your choose. Their prices are super affordable; some of the best prices I've ever seen at a brewery including in the lower 48. Definitely one of the more popular and affordable breweries in Anchorage. It's worth a stop!

Ashley B.

Yelp
I am a really big fan of King Street and the beers here! The new location (not sure if it's still "new" hah) is a lot bigger than where they used to be. I am not sure how I feel about all the different levels, but the outdoor roof top is a sweet set up! I am a sucker for popcorn, which they still have when you walk in! I am really digging the new half/half beers they offer on the menu, such a cool idea and really good! Definitely recommend stopping in here if you're in the area!

Ingrid L.

Yelp
Accidentally stumbled in here when I meant to go into Anchorage Brewing Co down the street. But both the brew and service was top notch, so I have no regrets and am happy this actually happened. They have spacious seating and three floors (levels) to choose from. There's a view into the brew room on one side of the building, and windows to look out on the other two sides. I tried a four 4oz flight (Hefeweizen-Baltic Porter-Semi Sweet Cider-Grapefruit squeeze). My favorite of that flight would be the baltic porter. Wish I could've taken a can/bottle of it home.

Matthew G.

Yelp
The environment is nice here, a sort of "polished, upscale industrial" look, with some classic Led Zeppelin playing at a nice volume. The beers were pretty decent, as well, with some good diversity in the rotating taps, such as helles, bock, winter warmer, IPA variations, and several imperial brews. The most interesting beer I had here -- a quite unique one I had never experienced before -- was their imperial hefeweizen.

Carrie G.

Yelp
Wanted to check out the new building King street had so we came on a Monday at 4pm. There were several tables filled with people, enough big tables for larger groups too. We got a flight with 7 different kinds of beer to try. I'm not an IPA hoppy kind of person but I liked 5 out of the 7. They had a ton on tap to choose from. They have free popcorn too. We chose to sit on the 3rd floor which has a great view. They have games available to play and a food truck to. We ordered the fried mashed potatoes and fried pickles. Definitely want to try more from their menu. They will deliver inside wherever you're sitting. Decided to go with a 12oz winter warmer which is their monthly special. Will definitely come back to try more beer and food again.

Nathan B.

Yelp
Let's call this stop #2 on the brewery tour of Alaska. (Odd Man Rush being #1). If you're going for a sweet place to hang, this is the place. They have three floors (top and bottom in use) of delightful goodness. Let's call it the 49th state of South Anchorage. With no food (well popcorn with cool flavors). And decent beer. I was stoked to try this place. I started drinking their hefe and IPA a couple months ago and loved them. LOVED THEM. Usually a brewery's canned beers are nothing compared to their brewery beers. Turns out the IPA and hefe are their two best. Don't get me wrong, the other beers are good, just not special. Nothing I would go out of my way for. The only thing for food besides the popcorn is a gourmet hot dog stand outside. To be fair, the jalapeño dog sounds good, but it's still a hot dog.

Jin C.

Yelp
I just wanted to update my review to mention that King Street Brewing has officially moved down the street into their gigantic new facility. Same great beers, same friendly service. Go and try their hefeweizen-IPA tap blend for an amazingly refreshing drink on a hot summer day. Looking forward to many more hours spent drinking some of Alaska's finest beers at this great location.

Kenneth B.

Yelp
This is a fun brewery with a great selection of interesting beers. Open and spacious, with multiple levels. Tables and chairs seem cheap and wobbly and not very comfortable. Cheerful staff.

Andrew H.

Yelp
King Street Brewing is a great little brewery, and probably one of the least-well-known of the Anchorage-based breweries outside of Alaska. It's a shame, because I think their IPA is the best straight-up IPA of any of the Alaskan breweries! That's right, I said it. As a bonus, it often comes in 16 oz cans. But these aren't any 16oz cans, the WHOLE TOP OF THEM POPS OFF. It's like having a portable, aluminum pint glass in your hand, pretty slick! This is a simple, humble spot located in a warehouse-y area of town. Due to ridiculously strict laws, they must close at 8pm, and cannot allow dancing (really, look it up!) BUT, the folks that work here are fantastic. They usually have a one or two seasonal beers on draft that are hard-to-impossible to find outside the brewery. You can also get growlers filled, or buy bottles of some of their rarer beers. They aren't stingy about letting you sample until you find something you like, as all good breweries should be. I went here for AK beer week and got a tour. I was shocked at how small their operation is! This makes them all the more impressive. They took joy in answering my annoying, geeky questions. I was shocked by how hands-on their canning "line" is. It's incredible they are able to make those aforementioned aluminum pints profitable! They also had FREE FOOD here for AK beer week. How can you beat that?

ashley o.

Yelp
Great location and prices. Their beers are tasty, but nothing out of the ordinary. If you're looking for a decent beer on a sunny day in Anchorage, this is the place.

Jonny P.

Yelp
The new building is awesome. Warm summer days on the deck up top gives you a good view of the mountains surrounding Anchorage. Definitely one of the best breweries in town. If you're unfamiliar with King Street beer then their IPA or Blonde Ale is worth a try but if you're a local like me then their rotating tap selections are fun to try.

Amy R.

Yelp
Three stars because of the beer. Yes they have a market, obviously there were several people here. They have an awesome rooftop deck, with plenty of seating on the floors in between. Industrial vibe in an industrial area. Good service and great prices. We had a flight, NEIPA, APA, Hefeweizen, Brut, Blonde, Pilsner and Stout. Standouts were the Hefe and the Brut. Followed by the NEIPA and the (wish I were a) Stout. Lovely floral notes from the Hefe and Brut, clean finish. Average on the NEIPA. The Stout needs to be, well, more Stout. Not sure how long they've been brewing, but practice makes perfect and if you like lighter versions of these beers then come by and give them a try. You can enjoy the free popcorn on the rooftop deck while contemplating your next vacation destination.

Katherine B.

Yelp
Good beer! Rooftop! Complimentary popcorn! The new location is amazing and I will be returning!

John J.

Yelp
Full parking lot, unfinished interior that echoed all the noise, expensive drinks, uncomfortable seating ruined my enjoyment. It is very trendy and is designed for the millennial drinkers.

Chantel B.

Yelp
The beer is delicious and we loved their "blended" beer options. They were happy to let us sample the beer before getting it. It's a small place with limited seating, so we probably won't make this a weekend spot. But we did enjoy our beer and had fun playing an 80s version of trivial pursuit.

Katherine S.

Yelp
If you enjoy a wide variety of different styles of beer then this is a great place to come. The space is big so there's lots of room to spread and just hangout. I also like that they offer complimentary popcorn with different seasonings my favorite beer I tried there was their pale ale

Aimee B.

Yelp
Local beer. Consistently brewed. Loads of options. Friendly service. Mix it up! Try a half Hefe/half Cider. Or! Half Cider/half cherry sour. Or! Half cider/half IPA. THE ROOF...

Nicole H.

Yelp
We legit visited every craft brewer in town and this place was my favorite. It was chill and laid back and totally unpretentious. You sit on patio furniture, folks high-fived us on the way in and there's a popcorn machine. The beers were interesting and flavorful and this is the only brewery I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot) that had beer combinations/mixes right on the menu board. Everyone knows a black and tan, but once I saw their combination pints I wondered why more places don't do something like this. Genius. Also, I got a beermosa on tap, so that's an extra star all on it's own. We were at another nearby brewery earlier in the evening and this place is it's polar opposite. There's room for both and to each their own, but we loved the sort of working class, blue collar feel here. It made us Wisconsinites feel very much at home.

Reis B.

Yelp
Amazing beer awesome atmosphere and amazing roof top seating area! Food truck in parking lot. I did not eat, but people seem to really like the food truck!

Justin H.

Yelp
Great beer and relaxed atmosphere. I really like the record player. I will definitely be back.

Meghan M.

Yelp
We've been here a couple times and we've enjoyed it each visit. It's a cozy little tasting room with great people and AWESOME beer! The tasting room is a bit small and they don't serve food, however they have a popcorn machine and allow you to bring in outside food! Last time we were there, it was during AK Beer Week, and we were treated to a tour of the brewing area by the head Brewmaster. He was super knowledgeable and enjoyed answering everyone's questions. They have the cutest little canning line! It was impressive to see the quantity that they can produce on such a small canning line = my mind blown! Now for the most important part... the beer! IPA lovers the King Street IPA is the perfect example of a full bodied beer that won't nuke your taste buds. For the darker beer lovers, their Stout is pretty tasty, it's not too heavy and has a pretty good flavor profile to it. BTW: I just got word from their head brewer during my AK Beer Fest tour that they are working on having a regular Porter! All in all this place is solid; good beer, good space, good people!

George C.

Yelp
Good, honest, handcrafted beer! Tasting room is low key, Spartan, yet comfortable spot for enjoying a good conversation over a well crafted brew. Never as noisy or crowded as the Midnight Brewing Company down the street.

Kathleen T.

Yelp
My husband always finds time to chill and drink at King's Street Brewery whenever we are in Anchorage. Always love the complimentary self serve popcorn stand.

X V.

Yelp
A great group of people and free popcorn. SCORE. Sounds like the IPA is the beer to have.

Samantha G.

Yelp
It's not the best beer in Anchorage, but all their offerings are solid choices and tasty. The staff are pleasant and helpful. There's no food or restaurant here. There's a small tasting room with a few tables and chairs. It's a nice, completely laid back spot to sip a pint or enjoy a sampler of their multiple options.

Tim D.

Yelp
One of the favorite spots to go hang out after work. The beer paired up with deep fried potato bombs or a burger from the food truck hits the spot!

Beth B.

Yelp
I came in here before the shutdown and I actually really like it. It's very spacious, and I mean VERY spacious! and open with nice outdoor seating options. If I had to describe the design I would say it's "industrial" which somehow really works and I really like. I almost wish it was a little more. It's unfortunate the shutdown is happening but I look forward to visiting them when everything reopens or if they open outdoor seating.

FoodieAtHeart P.

Yelp
I hate to complain. Great new building! Love the food truck program.... but the beer isn't daring or high gravity. Meh. Staff was super nice though

S L.

Yelp
Great brewery with original Alaskan crafted beers. Cannot wait for the boys to move to their new location and offer more beers and other goodies (food???)

Cassidyshea R.

Yelp
Not much to the place... yet... but it is still new. New brewery with some yummy beers. King Street Hefeweizen is now our favorite Hef. You can bring a picnic lunch and sample beers. We have meet up with a group twice at KSB and it was fun. Eventually they may be able to have a better "lounge" area... for now, we will keep popping in for yummy beer...

Alex B.

Yelp
The beers are good, and the facility is clean and big, but to be honest with so many great breweries in Anchorage, this one falls somewhere middle of the pack.

Rory S.

Yelp
Love their selection here! Delicious in all categories and their mixes are awesome. Not a lot of seating and is pretty full most of the time also not a lot of parking but worth it once you figure it out and get that sweet first cold drink of brewski :) only thing that got me was the times wish I woulda known they didn't open till three on Mondays tried to get a growler filled on my way home from work and to be so close yet so far was kinda heartbreaking had to go for my backup plan and get my king st fix at gold rush fill station lol
