Kingdom Trails

So enjoyed the Burke Foliage Festival today. Great Parade. Summertime Marching Band. The Vendors on the Green after a terrific BBQ from the Chamber. Plan to get back to Ski Burke when the snow flies.

I make 2 to 3 trips up here each year. Its a 6 hour drive that I love making. The trails are in great shape thanks to the staff that is constantly maintaining and protecting the trails. $15/day is absolute going to the right place.

Kingdom trails is an extremely well built and thought-out trail network. I've been traveling the country and riding a fair amount as I've gone and this is probably my favorite place. I wish it wasn't quite so expensive for a single day pass, but I understand they have to do something to keep up the trails. Much cheaper if you live in the area to get a season pass. But still worth the visit!

Had a great time there during 2019 NEBA Fest. So sad that this may have been the last time its being held there. The scenery and trails were some of the best I have seen on the east coast. Most of the people we dealt with were friendly. But it only takes a couple to ruin it for the rest. I will be back with friends to enjoy the rest of the trails that we weren’t able to get to.

The best mountain biking I’ve ever done in my life. The coolest mountain biking town I’ve ever been to (also the only). We rode here three days, getting in 5 sessions, and managed to get new trails every time. The town is flocked with bikers and it seems like the people who work in town like having bikers around. I’m counting down the days until the next time I get to come back. Make sure to get on strava before you come here so you can see how you compare. Hard to find public water fountains, my only complaint. Full of surprises around every turn.

One of the best mountain bike ride centers I've been to. Ample parking, electronic self check-in, awesome trails, beer garden at end of trail, restaurant at parking lot, and live band playing in parking lot. This place has it all.

I always love going up to Kingdom Trails. The trails have amazing maintenance and are incredibly fun. Make sure to stop by the office in East Burke to pick up your day pass, 100% of the fee goes toward maintence and improvements.

We went to VT for a weekend and I decided to try mountain biking for the first time. In my beginner's opinion, the booking was super easy and clear and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. However, I just need to warn any fellow beginners that the first "green" trail going uphill that's super windy is a doozy! I fell several times until I fell so badly I thought I'd injured my knee (pic attached). Once we decided to go up the road and take cupcake/loop trails things were much much easier (and still absolutely beautiful). All in all I recommend kingdom trails- but be careful!

NEMBA Fest and the Kingdom Trails have proven to be a significant draw for mountain bikers near and far. Boasting over 100 miles of trails for every skill level, Skill clinics and guided tours. Cant go wrong with celebrating summer & all things mountain biking. NEMBA Fest offers three days of riding, camping, festivities and a huge bike expo. A friendly community to top it all off.

I had to pick some sort of category to describe Kingdom Trails so I figured a playground best suited it. These are hands down the best mountain biking trails in New England, and I've been around! I rode there for a weekend recently and by mid-morning the first day this was my new favorite spot to ride. FAST twisting single track, over 100 miles of trails, beautiful scenery, and only minimal rocks and roots. The Burke mountain trails were closed when I was there because they were a little wet, but I covered the entire east side of KT. I can't wait to make it back to check out the rest of it! This place is so fun to ride I highly recommend it, and it's only $10 for a day pass. East Burke is totally a mountain bike town and there is plenty of parking for bikers and a good bike shop and sandwich place right by the visitor center as a bonus.

What's not to like? It's beautiful, and there are trails for every level.

Best XC bike park in the north east. It's great and getting better every year. It's pay to play but well worth the cost because they employ locals and keep the economy rolling all winter. The campground needs to get better but until it does there are other places to stay nearby. Great bike shop and the KT employees will draw you a route if you need some ideas. Great place, great trails and like minded people everywhere!

The best mountain biking in the U.S.! Great trails for beginners (wide and flat) and plenty of options - including the local ski mountain - for experts. And yes, there's everything in the middle, too. Prices to ride are very inexpensive, the Kingdom Trails employees are great fun and helpful, and you can't get a more beautiful view. And in the winter, you can enjoy miles upon miles of beautifully groomed nordic trails.

Fantastic mountain bike trails for all skill levels. Beautiful area with trails located near some wonderful mountain and river views. For a easier ride, I enjoyed the West Branch, East Branch, and River Run trails that ride you along the Passumpsic river. For the more advanced riders, the Jaw and Sidewinder trails are very exciting.

Narcotic addiction level XC and downhill, definitely worth a drive no matter where you are are. Trails are tight and fun, imagine your favorite spot without those roots and those rocks the glaciers puked up. Easy to get there for a weekend while staying at a campsite or in the town itself. Staff is very helpful and answered all my stupid questions "will i get lost?" "where can i get food?" "how is babby formed?". Pro-tips for lazy people such as myself... Go up via 93 if coming from MA for some classic alpine scenery around Cannon and the Notch. Park at the Wildflower Inn and pay $5 rather than riding your squishy bike up East Darling Hill. I stay at Brighton State Park which is 20 miles from the trails. Great campground but I was trashed from riding all day and then driving back to the tent. There is probably enough to do around the area for a week but 3-4 days is perfect. Also not everyone speaks English, lots of Quebecois riders which just makes it even more unique, Vermont c'est bon!

Pros: Definitely has the best mountain bike trails in North America. Plan at least a full day to explore the expansive network of trails. Ask the staff to map a trail based on ability level and allotted time. Bicycle shop conveniently located across the street for rentals. Cons: Trail markings are confusing.

Amazing! Over 100 miles of maintained trails for MTBers of all abilities exist at the mega network that is Kingdom Trails. My MTB friends and I from PA have driven up there twice in the past three years because it's that good. The only thing missing in East Burke is a good brewpub to complete the package of trails and ales.

Awesome trails for all abilities and they keep building more every year. It's busier in town during the summer with mountain bikers now then it is in the winter with skiers.
