Life has not been kind to the Kingfisher. Looked at 3 rooms - all in a state of disarray. A 3 day visit was cut short by 2 days and we left quite disappointed. Food was ok but over priced, staff were helpful. Rooms were broken down, neglected, dirty and in a very sad state of affairs. Bedsheets surprisingly clean. I told the staff place was filthy and was told “well we have just been through 6 typhoons” :). Inside of cupboards filthy, exposed electrics in shower were haphazardly taped over, water pressure was a forlorn hope. Hot water heater flickered on and off as if a dying dog eyes. Pool had not been cleaned in a long time thought I saw the Loch Ness monster. Pool chairs broken and looked akin to a bomb site. Front entrance area an abandoned construction site. All for 6800 pesos - breakfast not included. Make up your own mind.
Note - after I complained our final room was tidied up a fair bit - but still beyond redemption.
