If you really want that chill vibes Kingfisher is definitely a place to go. Spot is amazing for kiters and surfers. A lot of places around to go for. Food was delicious both regular and thai. But the smoked specialities were absolute blast for me. But that aint all folks! They even have they own brewery and i loved all of the crafted beers! Staff and manager were super friendly. Definitely going back there in future.

On the Sea Link Barge from Kingfisher to River Heads, we met this lovely lady named Tammy Heywood. She greeted us with a smile and asked if we enjoyed our stay at K’Gari. After having a chat with her, we found out that she was originally from Dubbo NSW - our home town. She was very friendly, and loved having a chat to us and our families. Tammy also gave all of the children some little chocolate eggs as it is Easter tomorrow. We were sad to be leaving K’Gari, but Tammy made our trip back to the mainland more enjoyable.

We came to the area for kitesurfing, stayed for the first week somewhere else and then changed over to kingfisher. Wow, what an upgrade. The rooms are great value, the staff is friendly, the kitesurf spot is awesome, the WiFi very fast and the food... 👌 on their menu is something for everyone. But my favourites were all the smoked meats. Absolutely super tasty! Thanks kingfisher team!

Me and my boyfriend enjoyed the best time at Kingfisher! Amazing location, nice rooms, good food, cute dogs and right next to a world class kitespot with super strong wind & waves. Would def recommend for kiters who like to play in the waves and want consistent strong wind (we were there for 8 days and not one day below 25 kts). Also, so much space on the water due to the fact that there are not many other schools around. People are lovely and super helpful! Thanks so much Haica & Team!

Life has not been kind to the Kingfisher. Looked at 3 rooms - all in a state of disarray. A 3 day visit was cut short by 2 days and we left quite disappointed. Food was ok but over priced, staff were helpful. Rooms were broken down, neglected, dirty and in a very sad state of affairs. Bedsheets surprisingly clean. I told the staff place was filthy and was told “well we have just been through 6 typhoons” :). Inside of cupboards filthy, exposed electrics in shower were haphazardly taped over, water pressure was a forlorn hope. Hot water heater flickered on and off as if a dying dog eyes. Pool had not been cleaned in a long time thought I saw the Loch Ness monster. Pool chairs broken and looked akin to a bomb site. Front entrance area an abandoned construction site. All for 6800 pesos - breakfast not included. Make up your own mind. Note - after I complained our final room was tidied up a fair bit - but still beyond redemption.

Yelp
Super chill water sports resort on the emerging north coast of Luzon. Luxury casitas as well as simple nipa huts available. Kiteboard, surf and sup lessons and rentals on site. All the activities here revolve around the beach and the open air dining room, which features a full bar and extensive menu. The location is a bit isolated and the wifi is spotty but for water sports lovers this place is awesome.

Yelp
This is the worst Resort I have ever stayed . The place is disgustingly dirty. There's a cockroach running around my room. Me and my friends left early the following morning due to no electricity and water. And also, I left the place with humongous mosquito bites. Not a fun place to stay!!!Grrrrr!

Yelp
Not recommended for staying, no electricity means no water. No backup generator either. Cockroach and mosquitos are your room mates. It looks like the sheets, pillow case were reused. Staff won't brief guests of the features of the room. No wifi in the room, only in the restaurant. Restaurant food orders takes an hour to hour and a half to be served. If you are a backpacker, this place is for you.

Yelp
bad place to stay, this place relies on electricity for water. if there is no electricity, this place won't have water. we had bad experience at this hotel because there was brown out during our stay. the blanket and pillows provided were too thin. the lock of our patio door was broken. i don't recommend staying at this hotel. there was plenty of mosquitos around this place too.
