Upon arrival to the property, we were greeted by Marcia who was very polite, friendly and professional. We were checked into our suite as soon as we arrived. Check in was quick and seamless. This hotel is centrally located in Georgetown. ||We were assisted by Curtis to take our luggage to the room. He was very respectful and professional as well. ||Lunch was delicious at the Bistro cafe which is on the ground floor of the hotel. We met some of the most pleasant and welcoming staff. We had breakfast every morning here. Top notch service were provided by Ricardo, Amelia, Avril (all bartenders as we ate and drank at the bar). Nirvanie and some other servers whose names I can’t remember. The hostesses were all very nice as well. Kurt the manager was also very friendly. Jamilette, our housekeeper ensured that our room was clean at all times. |Everyone was very polite and helpful. ||My only concern was that the water pressure in the shower was low. Even though the pressure at the sink was high. ||I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed at King’s 5/13 to 5/22. It was one of the most pleasant stays I’ve had in visiting Guyana. The staff provided excellent service, the rooms were clean and comfortable. A/C, WiFi, hot water were available and optimal as desired amenities. I’m looking forward to staying there again and excited for the newest addition of the brand located a block away.

The rooms were modern, but had an odour. But loved that they provided water daily, cleaned the rooms daily and the crew was friendly. Checked in late and there was no assistance to carry 2 suitcases up three flights of stairs. Almost made me check out. That's why I gave 3 stars.

It’s very clean and very functional so that works. Downside restaurant closes on Sunday evening and flights arrive late so no chance to get a bite. Should have some sandwiches or something for guests arriving early so bring something with you. Location is good and like I said perfectly functional. Bistro restaurant is good and food excellent

When you pay less than Marriot price then you get less than Marriot service. you get what you pay for not always true especially in this case because I pay $135 a night and got $40 service. The hotel lobby if we can call it that is horrible. The woman who’s at the front desk during the day seems like there’s a conflict of interest, seems like someone hire their aunt who has a stake in the profit and like PAYING guess is dipping into her profits whenever I make a request. She has terrible customer service made me uncomfortable as if I was staying at her house for free. She made a rude remark when I had a visitor, saying how many people really in that room. I’ve stayed at Marriot and Ramada and never had any incidents when I have visitors. People in Jewelry business should not get into hospitality business. I’ve stayed at the Ramada and paid less with way better service and not to forget free all you can eat breakfast, better customer service. I’ve stayed at the Marriott and had spectacular services, ok maybe over priced food like Bistro but hotel service at Marriot was excellent and not smelly like the rooms at Kings. Closet smells like cigarettes, there goes not a smoking hotel, it’s a fib. Oh should we talk about the shower door, well if you don’t believe me go book for yourself and see that horrible glass door that looks like it might fall off. The night front desk woman is excellent, very professional. The cleaning crew was professional. So that’s where I rate this 2/5, if wasn’t for them it would have been a zero.

If you do not need a swimming pool, this is the best place to stay in Georgetown. The Marriott is isolated and far from anything to see or do in town. The best part of the hotel is the bistro that is attached. It serves a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a popular bar. The activity is young, hip and vibrant. The room was clean and spacious. The staff at check-in could have been friendlier but everyone else was just great. The housekeeper, Petal, was particularly helpful and enthusiastic.

Our journey in another country was transformed into an unforgettable adventure, thanks to the incredible efforts of Manuel, the Cuban guardian angel who watched over us. Manuel's kindness and genuine concern for our well-being went beyond the call of duty. His warm smile and reassuring presence turned moments of uncertainty into stories that will live on in our hearts forever.
