You are here for one thing, tigers! It’s essential any review of this hotel focusses on that point. The hotel management secure 6 permits for the six game drives. There are three zones and they are limited to 25 vehicles per session. This is no mean feat and, if tigers is your reason for being there, they deliver. The vehicles, drivers and naturists are very good, you pick up a guide at the gates and you have to find less than 160 tigers in 1500 sq kms. If you keep your expectation low, you will be rewarded. We saw 10 over 4 drives and none on two of them, however, the birds, animals and flora are, also, very rewarding to observe. |The hotel is well appointed, the rooms are villas, you have what you need, given you are roused at 4.15 am and hit the sack around 8.00pm! The staff are very attentive and the enthusiastic chef tapers the food to your taste. We love Indian food, when I asked him about his spicing on a scale of 1-10, he set ours at zero! We made it to 4, delicious! It’s a small hotel, you get to know the staff during your stay, management are experienced and run a flawless operation. The hotel is regularly used for photo safaris, which means the professionals are impressed, too!|There is a “house” artiste who can paint your favourite tiger photo within 24 hours. He is incredibly talented and his style, "photo realism”, means you get the perfect memory at an outrageously reasonable price. |Seeing a tiger in the wild is one of life’s tick in the box moments. Staying at this hotel made it a truly enjoyable experience.
