Kings Lodge - Bandhavgarh National Park

Ravi and his entire team run a very professional show. We had a wonderful time. The room and bathroom was very comfortable and well appointed. The food served was well curated. We had a diabetic in our group and the chef and management made sure that low carb diet was served to this person. Extreme care was displayed to ensure a good and healthy meal. We took three safaris. We were blessed to enjoy tiger and leopard sightings on each of the game drives besides seeing the other animals like, deer, sambar, bison, elephants, jackals, bears, wild boars and a variety of birds. The naturalist Raju assigned to us made exceptional efforts to make sure our sightings were successful.

The best experience we've had at a wildlife lodge in India. The property is huge and provides luxury close to nature. The rooms are spacious and clean. Chef Mr Gaurav made us the best dishes and also customised everything according to our preferences. Mr Prashant, the manager, and Mr Ravi were really hospitable and checked on us every day. All the serving staff and housekeeping staff were top notch. Special mention to our naturalist Mr Uttam Singh, who has immense knowledge about the Bandhavgarh jungle and helped us track the big cats. We would surely visit again and recommend it!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Kings Lodge! The staff was exceptionally courteous and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely scrumptious—every meal was a treat. The property itself is breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by nature and so thoughtfully maintained. They curated a perfect safari experience for us, which made our trip even more memorable. Overall, it was the perfect vacation, and we’re already looking forward to visiting again very soon!

Kings lodge is a lovely place to stay, there's a pool if you want it however we were too busy going on Safari. The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable, the service staff were very friendly and helpful. The wildlife sightings were great thanks to skills of Raju our naturalist we were very lucky, especially seeing a herd of wildlife elephants 🐘 which was very exciting as well as tigers. We will definitely go back next year.

Kings Lodge Bandhavgarh offered us an unforgettable stay amidst nature. The ambiance has a rustic charm of the jungle ( peaceful/ soul soothing ) . Cottages have all the required necessities, they are well lit and ventilated. We were pampered silly by their incredibly warm and attentive staff. Their commitment towards sustainability was evident from no use of plastics to fresh organic produce from their organic garden. ( their home made ice creams are like a must haves). Being a safari buff , we were very impressed with their safari arrangements ( punctual / well co-ordinated) and tailored to our comfort. Evening can be spent watching documentaries or reading books or cycling around the property. Also , liked the Candle light arrangements by the pool. My husband and I thought this to be the place to try and fulfil the dream of seeing a tiger in the wild. Our experience was flawless from start to finish. Sangeeta, during the booking process, took my enquiry and shaped it, with her care and experience, into a superb package aimed at fulfilling our dream. The lodge itself was very comfortable indeed, the staff. without exception, were warm, professional and treated each guest as special. The food was amazing and the chef seemed to effortlessly cater to varying international palates with charm and culinary skill. There was an endless supply of cookies! The drives into the park were really informative and our naturalist, Pradhyumna, was superb with an in-depth knowledge of animal behaviour and a great sense of humour to occupy the times waiting for a tiger to stir. We were lucky to see 10 tigers, including a Mum and 3 cubs and chanced upon an Indian leopard too. I wouldn't hesitate for one moment to recommend a stay at Kings Lodge - exceptional!

We went and stayed at the Kings Lodge in the stilted room.We were briefed everything about the room by the staff who took us to the room .one could see the pride in his eyes during our briefing.||Very comfortable beds,everything is natural,the tolietteries, the recycled papers,the steel water bottles for water. What we liked alot was that there's no plastic anywhere.|| The tea trolley has small glass bottles with tea,coffee sugar,etc,no sachets,no plastic. This is what is saving nature.|| The staff,Ram Prashad,and others were beyond compare.The food is awesome and each staff member briefs you very politely about what is being served. ||The management, we hardly ever saw or interacted with.The Assistant manager was mostly in his office.|| The safari with Raju Dai was super.Saw tigers,deers,sambar,and elephants. One elephant group charged us as they were protecting the babies,5 of them..!!|| All said and done,Kings Lodge of Pugdundee Safaris and resorts is worth another trip.||Upon departure,we were given packed light lunch as we had a 4 hours drive to Jabalpur.|| The entire staff came and saw us off

Our second time at Kings Lodge, Bandhavgarh, and once again, it felt like coming home to the jungle. The rooms are spotless and welcoming—thanks to the ever-efficient housekeeping team. Every time we returned, the room was fresh, neat, and fragrant. A special shoutout to Arun for his consistent attention to detail! The food deserves a mention of its own—light, clean, and just right for those early morning safaris. Thank you, Chef Gaurav, for meals that kept us energized yet feeling light. Evenings here are magical—dining under the stars by the jungle, surrounded by peace and warm hospitality from Rajkishore, Sant Lal Yadav, and Saryu. What truly stood out was the impeccable planning of our full-day safari (where the temperature reached almost 40 degree celsius) From timely hot lunches to cold towels, blankets, umbrellas, and refreshing lemon water—every detail was taken care of. Huge thanks to Mr. Prasantha, the resort manager, for his warmth, precision, and for ensuring our stay was absolutely seamless. The lodge’s proximity to the safari gates is another bonus, especially with back-to-back safaris. Hands down, the best hospitality in Bandhavgarh. Can’t wait to return! Regards Namrata & Varun Niser
