Kings Park Motel

Great older style motel with useful additions such as a microwave (unlike many other newer properties these days), crockery, cutlery etc. Receptionist was great - hearing that I had driven from Adelaide, she expedited my check-in early (9:30am) so I could get some much needed rest. Cleaning staff did a great job on my room. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect. Room was large , all amenities were changed daily if required. Laundry available at $6 a load with a washing line outside. Pool looked nice though we didn’t use it. Great location over the road from Kings Park. Free purple CAT bus right outside the motel. There is also a guests lounge you can use. Everyone was very nice. Would recommend for sure. So much to see and do in the area. We hired a car for a few days , plenty of parking on site.

I stayed in a standard queen room. The room was clean and secure, the AC worked, good sized fridge, fresh milk was supplied each day, free toiletries, comfortable bed, and the water was hot with good pressure. Yes, the furniture is old, yes, the power points are limited, but these things don’t really bother me. My one gripe, however, are the sound levels. Staying in a motel, I inherently expect to hear noise from the outside of my room eg cars pulling in/out early morning etc - that doesn’t fuss me. What was disappointing was that I could hear noises from the room next door to me, such as the TV, talking, and snoring, including at night when I was trying to relax and sleep. I accept that this is probably something that can’t be fixed now due to the design of the building, but figure that for some travellers this is an important thing to be aware of before booking. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. The location is really good, with a free Purple Cat bus outside, and a short walk to a public bus to Subiaco (Airport train and shops).

Dont stay here if you want any sleep,next door kept most of the other guests awake all night with yelling,screaming, swearing,slamming doors,inside there room & on walkway,it felt very unsafe. Not happy that we didnt get any sleep. People were lined up at reception in the morning to complain. Other guests drinking & swearing in bbq area during the day. Limited parking. Location is ok if you want to go to kings park or hospital other than that theres nothing around. Cannot recommend & will definitely not return.

Stayed here recently with my son for the ashes cricket. Super friendly and rooms were clean and tidy. Great location in regards to the city and subtract. Will stay again and definitely recommend, thanks.

It was surprisingly nice, great location to go for a walk into Kings Park and up to the Botanical Gardens. Room was spacious, nice basic kitchen facilities and a big tub to soak in after a long walk.

What a good find. Needed a place close to the hospital and I found it here. Upon arrival front desk wasn’t manned so had to go find staff! She was a lovely lady who was sorting out her amazing cleaning ladies. I say amazing because when we walked into our room it was immaculate! It also did NOT smell like bleach which is one of the worse smells I hate. It was clean and welcoming. The tv was a weird blue colour so we tried to adjust that to no avail so I guess the tv needs replacing. Apart from that I can’t fault the place. At night it was quiet. The bed was nice. Oh the pillows weren’t that good had to find the spares and even those together didn’t really cut it. But in all honesty I was impressed by the stay and if need be when I need to have a stay near the hospital this would be my to go place. 5/5 stars for me 🙂

I only had a short but very comfortable stay at this accommodation. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. I could even make a cuppa. It had everything I needed.
