Kingston Consignments is a great antique/vintage store in the heart of uptown Kingston, old stockade District. They have a wide variety of antiques, collectibles and vintage items - artwork, clothing, dishes, jewelry, chandeliers, outdoor statutory, etc. Prices are reasonable, and offers are always entertained. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it’s a joy to shop there. I do so on a regular basis. While you’re there, check out one of the great restaurants in uptown Kingston, and make it a full day affair.

The store is a treasure trove of vintage and antiques. Well curated and easy to shop, affordably priced. Loved their selection of ceramics and clothing. You might even run into a celebrity or two while you rummage through the rooms upon rooms of cool items.

As a consignor I had a terrible experience, so this if for maybe sellers: There is so much theft and breakage, with nothing more than a shrug from the staff that it's not worth consigning with them. They take no responsibility whatsoever. Furthermore, the accounting system is totally bogus. Anything that is sold is not recorded adequately so it is impossible to match what was sold with what was consigned. A valuable piece of pottery might be accounted for as a "creamer" and any book sold, they do not put the title on, just "book." I lost many valuable books through this experience as well as items from the glass cases that were never found. Very bad experience.

Lots of treasures to sort through and admire. The store is 2 levels of well curated antiques. Wish I had more time to explore.

Kingston Consignment has been a cherished part of my life for many years. My father often shopped here, always speaking highly of the incredible finds and the friendly atmosphere. When he passed away, the team at Kingston Consignment was incredibly supportive, helping me sort through his possessions with care and understanding. Even years later, I remain a dedicated customer, continually impressed by their diverse selection and the warm, welcoming environment. Craig, in particular, has always been so exceptionally kind and helpful. His prices accommodate all budgets, making it easy to find something special without breaking the bank. Kingston Consignment is not just a fantastic store; it's a community of wonderful people who truly care about their customers. I can't recommend it highly enough.

DO NOT CONSIGN HERE. Just looking at the consignment paper scared me out of that place! they want 50% of the earnings and if you don't pick up at a certain date, they take your things and keep them for themselves! yikes. the things are very cool but truly not worth the money.

My friends and I really enjoyed coming here for the first time. It's way larger than you expect it to be, it seems to just keep going. Prices were typically higher, with a few cheap or at least reasonable priced things here and there. Like most collectors, I'm knowledgeable about the things I collect. While here I spotted a few different things I collect and found that generally the prices leaned on the delusional side, so I didn't get any of them. One of the cheap things I collect are swizzle sticks, I found a pack of three super generic, scratched and dirty common ones for $8, I could have died laughing, even really cool, highly sought after one's don't cost that much. The few items I did pick up were reasonable in price, but had all the other things I found been priced according to their actual worth, I would have happily spent more money. I just couldn't justify over paying for something I could get online and still pay less even with shipping. I will still come back again, I feel like this place is so large that it makes it worth coming just to hopefully score some good finds! And for people willing to pay more for the immediate satisfaction, there is just so much awesome stuff here.

2 stars feels generous. The staff were not very friendly. I was followed around the store which felt super uncomfortable. The space was large and had a variety of items. After reading other reviews, I was relieved to know others shared the same feelings. Plenty of better stores in the area. Stay away from this one.

Yelp
Kingston, NY - this place is an incredible treasure trove! It's like wandering around in grandma's mega attic if your grandma is cool and has hip taste. It's full of vintage and thrift goods, antiques, collectibles, in every category (housewares, furniture, clothing & accessories, toys, music, decorative objects, utilitarian things, knick knacks, and more). There are two floors, both sprawling. I could get lost in here for hours. My toddler went wild for the vintage Hot Wheels and other cars (back when they were solidly constructed of weighty, real metal) so of course we had to buy a few. We were there just as the winter holidays were gearing up, and the owner was so nice and didn't charge us for the Christmas ornament. We started a tradition of each family member having a special ornament every year and this was the kiddo's.

Yelp
Once a year when our family gets together in upstate New York, we come by the shop and I am amazed by the vintage selections that they have? Baseball cards, comic books, old Polaroids (working & nonworking Etc-a- sketch and old-school typewriters. Jewelry, books, Shepherd Fairey signed artwork. You name it they got it. You could easily spend $1000 here and still want so much more. This is the best consignment thrift shop I've ever been to.

Yelp
Great spot for small collectibles and antiques of all sorts. Browse and you're bound to find something with character. Prices very reasonable. I bought a couple of vintage vases for Mother's Day flower arrangements. What I particularly like is the very good lighting, both natural and electric, and the place feels clean and dry. Friendly service, too.
