Charming is the quintessential word for this place! The experience of staying was personable, charmed and quaint. If you think of staying in a city hotel in southern Europe, this is exactly what to picture. A family owned place through 4 generations, it is very clear from the moment you enter that this is a place that has hosted many travellers.
Though the rooms were a little creaky, and wonky, and the airconditioning was fixed to a balmy 24 degrees, the beds were soft, and the breakfast was exquisite 👌 My only complaint for the breakfast was the coffee, which could be improved, but otherwise the breakfast had so many options and was well prepared and fresh!
The location of the hotel can't be beat, you are literally in the heart of the city. That said, me and my party had several rooms scattered across the hotel and though my room had the cutest balcony facing the street, I did have some of the bar music filter into my room untill two am. If you are a person who needs complete quiet, you should request a room facing the garden, as the rest of my party had no sounds in their room at night.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience. It felt welcoming to stay, and a good base to explore the old town of Paphos.
