"Though not one of Berlin’s most visited tourist spots, Schöneweide, a district located a 30 minute train ride south east of the city center, is definitely worth a visit. Especially those who are into design and architecture will enjoy this corner of Berlin. You can spot famous industrial architecture, homes to experimental art, design workshops and co-working spaces within a genuine urban neighbourhood where gentrification barely happened yet. It’s no surprise that even internationally renowned artists like Ai-Weiwei have been looking for space in Schöneweide." - Hyperakt
It’s a shame there are no OV options, kind of stuck in the 80’s, the demographics of this area have changed dramatically.

The cinema is just great.
I go there since I'm 5 and always love it.
Good movies and fair prices.
And the location is very chilly
Just can recommend

Great cinema! I just wish they could show films in their original language. Berlin is so international that I know many people who are looking for English films with German subtitles.

Always empty. No atmosphere. But in times of Corona acceptable.
