One of my fave cinemas in this city - nice, cozy and with huge armchairs on the first floor. Chairs are comfy and stuff is always helpful. Mondays are super cheap and they have nice selection of both popular and more niche movies. Near the entrance, there is a small "bucket" with the posters - apparently you can take them for free.

I recently visited Kinoteka in the Palace of Culture, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! The atmosphere is so unique and welcoming, combining modern comforts with a touch of historical charm. The seating is comfortable, and the sound and picture quality are top-notch. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the entire visit pleasant from start to finish. Plus, the location is convenient, right in the heart of Warsaw. I highly recommend Kinoteka for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic movie night! 📽️

Was fantastic to be at Kinoteka for Bitcoin Film Fest and the European Halving Party. Historic. Epic. The venue is great and all the staff there really went the extra mile for all of us. Truly above and beyond the call of duty. Just as a for instance, I was trying to help out in any way I could and at one point I was asked to swap in new posters for upcoming film screenings ahead of those showings. So, I've never done that before and didn't know how the metal framing that holds posters in place just snaps open one side at a time. One of the guys who is staff at Kinoteka could tell by the way I was staring at the thing that I was perplexed and he very helpfully and kindly showed me how the mechanism works. Someone else might have taken the opportunity to point out my ignorance but this guy only cared about being helpful. Also, having been born in Poland in Soviet style communism times, I used to call this building "The Palace of the Uncultured" (because it was a "gift" to the Polish people from our Soviet Big Brother) but the people utilizing the space for contemporary culture are truly ushering in a new age.

Great cinema ideally located inside palace of culture and sciences, a short walk away from central trainstation. They decorate the entrance with nice movie themed accessories for some movies as it was the case for Barbie, making it an ideal location to take beautiful pictures. Also they have good choice of beverages including beers.

The heart of the cinema of Warsaw. A lot of festivals, independent projects and rare movies shown here on regular basis

Kinoteka is a great medium size, old cinema with amazing charm. It's not one of those chain cinema which play only blockbusters. They offer more independent and sometimes controvercial cinema. It is very reasonable priced with some days with special deals. I love that they have a bar before it's entrance so you can enjoy a drink🍸

Yelp
It is the theater inside the central building - the Palace of Culture and Science. The tickets are not expensive. Nice chairs. So this cinema is ok.

Yelp
Just inside the beautiful Plac Kultury you may find this cinema. It has pretty good assortment with excellent location and easy access to public transportation. Theaters are moderately comfortable with two floors of rooms. You may need to climb some stairs if your movie is in the second floor. Screens are slightly small, sound is ok. A little too loud for the commercials at the beginning. Most movies are in original version with polish subtitles. If you are not polish speaker beware of kids movies! This are usually translated to polish and have no English subtitles. Better to ask. Price tickets are quite average and of course there is elderly and student discount. Regarding food there's not much assortment. A cafeteria at the entrance and typical popcorn inside but do not expect to have dinner. You may buy online tickets ahead and even choose your seat. Strongly recommended :) Have a good time!

Yelp
Nice cinema with nice intimate lobby. Comfortable seats. Some rooms are very small with only 25 seats in (which makes another intimate mood ;).

Yelp
Kinoteka , clearly, has many advantages . Located in a historic building in the city center, has secured parking and just has that "cool" factor . Unfortunately, time has taken it's toll. I don't mind taking the stairs nor the minimal amount of WCs. Nevermind that the entry door doesn't shut by itself, that's just a small irritant. It's when you're straining to listen to the movie when you're three rows away from the screen! When you can hear everyone else's racket more so than the film! I could hear someone munching popcorn seated in the back row. The acoustics (I've seen about 6 films here) are terrible. Kinoteka seems to be stuck in the past, they forgot or don't seem to care that audio is an important part of a pleasurable movie experience .
