We had the perfect anniversary stay at Kinross! The lovely staff allowed an early arrival so we had time to unpack before getting in the hot tub, which was very kind and appreciated. The hot tub was so warm and relaxing on a chilly winter day, with a stunning view over the winery. Our room was facing the vineyard, it was very clean warm and cosy. Our only complaint was our bed didn't join well and there was a big dip in the middle so we couldn't cuddle up at night. After the hot tub we went to the wine tasting which was a highlight of our stay. Diego was the most amazing host, he was funny and informative, he was passionate about the wines, the crowd was a bit tough but he handle it like a pro, l|he's a big asset to the Kinross team. We collected our pizza and had a wee picnic by the pond which was romantic! Im unsure of the chefs name but wanted to mention they did a wonderful job, all our food was delicious. When we went back to our room we had a bottle of Pinot Noir waiting for us with a hand written note which was lovely, especially as we had just enjoyed the wine in the tasting! We had a breakfast hamper waiting in the fridge for us too which was such a lovely touch. Our platter we had for snacks later in the evening was tasty, loved the smoked salmon pate and all the delicious cheese snd meats etc. We really didn't want to leave and can't wait to return. Thanks to everyone at Kinross for an amazing thoughtful experience!

Our visit to Kinross Winery was an absolute highlight of our trip to New Zealand. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We enjoyed a beautifully curated private dining lunch — which did not disappoint — followed by a private wine tasting. The food was superb: fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly paired with their outstanding wines. The setting was stunning, the service warm and professional, and the entire experience felt truly special. Highly recommend Kinross to anyone wanting to experience the best of Central Otago’s wine and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

10/10. What a great place, thank you so much!! We really enjoyed the whole experience, wine tasting with David was so much fun and informative. The wine was 10/10, naturally we brought multiple bottles to take back to Aus. The accommodation, pizzas and spa were a highlight. Can not recommend enough, thanks so much guys!

We had a wonderful stay at Kinross cottages from the informative wine tasting and the lovely breakfast box to the delicious bottle of Pinot Noir waiting for us in our room which went beautifully with the grazing box which we had pre- ordered from their takeaway menu. The cottage overlooked the vines and was excellent - spacious, relaxing and very comfortable. We’d say don’t hesitate to book! Thanks for having us especially to Katie 😊

Our experience at Kinross Winery was made truly unforgettable thanks to Rommel. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel incredibly welcome with his warmth, kindness, and professionalism. His deep knowledge of the wines was impressive—he shared stories, background, and tasting notes in a way that was both informative and engaging, without ever feeling scripted. Rommel had a natural way of connecting with us, making the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. It’s rare to come across someone who’s not only great at what they do, but who clearly loves it and takes pride in sharing it with others. The wine and cheese were fantastic, but it was Rommel’s hospitality that truly stood out and made our visit so memorable. He’s a real asset to Kinross, and we feel lucky to have been served by him.

Finish a lovely 3 hour cycle ride here and couldn’t be happier with the food and service. The bistro has an inside and outside dining area which was fantastic as it was a bit wet so the inside was a saviour. Staff are amazingly friendly and polite. The food was spectacular too, not too fancy but cooked beautifully. I would happily come back here again for the food and service. A++

This place is so cute, and a nice stop between Queenstown and Wanaka. A bit expensive compared to US, but wine flight was totally worth it and food was decent. Super welcoming, unpretentious vibe. Fireplace going strong in winter, birds chipping, and we even got lap blankets. Mary, our server, was an absolute delight. She really seems to enjoy talking wine and answered all our questions. She helps make this place a great stop.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Kinross. We arrived to a bottle of Kinross Pinot Noir as a gift in our room.|Decided to make the most of the wine tasting at the cellar which was fun. We meet Max who was a waiter on site also trying the wines. He was travelling from Netherlands. Lovely friendly guy, wish him well on his travels.|We ordered the chicken and mushroom pie from the menu which was delivered to our room along with a salad and garlic bread...popped the pie in the oven while we enjoyed the hottub.|Also delivered to our room, was the pictured dessert plate x 😋 |Honestly the comfiest bed we've even slept in.|The cottages are set amongst the vines with great views of the autumn trees.|Great value for money. Staff were friendly and fun.|Look forward to come back.|We celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary and we are stoked we chose Kinross for our weekend away.
