Very beautiful place near the grocery shop. It is nice that you can walk around. The camping had great showers with a lot of space to put your stuff, clean toilets and kitchen. It seems that owners pay atention to the place and their guests. It is nice that you get a map with all information about the place. There is everything you need. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night in early August. We didn't book in advance. We were a tent with a car. The campsite and facilities are clean, the hot water good and shower pressure good (hot water is included in the price). The staff at reception were helpful and we were given a map of the site. The view out from the campsite onto the fjord is lovely. However, I think this campsite is really aimed at those with campervans or motorhomes. The site has grassy areas but this grass is on top of stones/rock, so it is very very difficult to get your tent pegs into the ground to secure your tent. I would stay here again, but not in a tent for this reason.

Hikers not welcome. We arrived at this campground on foot after 5 days of hard hiking and asked for a place to put our small tent for one night because there was no bus back to our car that evening. The very short and unfriendly answer was only " sorry we are fully booked". But obviously there was still space available for people with car or camper. So our impression was that hikers are not welcome. Even if in desperate need.

We had to cancel last minute due to sickness. The staff were kind, friendly and understanding. I would come again just because of the nice atmosphere to the camp.

Similar spots nearby will charge 40% less for a tent spot. While they have the spot at the end of hardangerfjorden, you can’t really see it from majority of camping spots on site. I’d imagine this is why they charge so much - the location. Drive 15 min down the road and you’ll find cheaper. Showers had significant amounts of black mould. Older male staff talked demeaning to young female staff, hope that was a once off for the female staff’s wellbeing. That was quite off putting.

We extended our planned two night stop at Kinsarvik Camping to five nights! An excellent site, we were on plot 21 with an unhindered view straight out over the fjord. The facilities are kept spotless and the staff are very friendly. The local Spar shop is much more than a grocery store, there's probably nothing you can't get there! A great place to stay for walking Dronningstien or up Husedalen to the spectacular waterfalls.

Too expensive for what’s been offered. Washing&dryer not included in the price. Views and amenities are nice but cannot justify that price compared to what’s offered elsewhere in Norway.

The campsite itself is beautiful with trees and flowers. The reception staff is nice and helpful. The cabin is spacious and there is an amazing view of the fjord from the balcony. The cabin itself was not well maintained (a door that didn't close), not clean enough, and there was an unpleasant smell (maybe due to the fact that you can clean the cabin yourself and thus save cleaning fees?). All in all, a nice place, but very expensive compared to what you get, especially compared to other campsites, which were spotlessly clean
