Came here on New Years' Eve with my family looking forward to some good food. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't the best. The selections were pretty small and modest - spanning across Asian and Western food. However, I expected there to be more Indonesian food considering the place's reputation as an Indonesian restaurant. The Asian food that did exist, meanwhile, were random combinations of dishes that didn't pair well with the saffron rice given. Furthetmore, while there was seafood bisque, no bread or whatnot was even provided as a dip for the soup. The drink selection is limited to three different kinds of cold sweet drinks. Desserts were varied and were more balanced in terms of variety of Asian and Western desserts - however, the Western ones (eg. eclaire, cream puff) were soggy and seemed to be like those instant types. Service-wise, some waitresses were attentive and proactive in clearing plates. I do wish, though, that more tissues/napkins were provided. To give credit where it's due: The christmas-themed roasted turkey(?) and beef, as well as duck in mashed potatoes were very nice. Starters such as the burratta salad etc were diverse and also decent. I'm also glad that a prayer room is available. However, overall, the experience was disappointing because I was very excited to try at least some Indonesian food - even if the menuw as Christmas-themed etc perhaps at least two or three dishes could've been maintained. The service was pretty average and the restaurant's interior was quite bland. I think it's an okay place to just have a filling dinner with your family, but I wouldn't go in with much expectations.

We came for my daughter's bday dinner and the buffet did not disappoint. The 'ikan bakar' is good and the kicap sauce is a superb compliment. Their rendang is so reminisce of old school flavor with tender meat, the opor reminds me of a late friend's cooking but the prawn noodle broth took our breath away with its rich and super prawny flavor. My kids love the homemade lemon tea and the ever ready plain water in glass bottles is a touch of plain efficiency! We love the seri muka and were slightly disappointed when that finishes and the next kuih is a different type of kuih.Next time we'll know to take 2/3 slices more😆 The waitresses are helpful and the receptionists are very friendly. Our daughter received a nice slice of bday cake that enhances her day. We think if theres ice cream, the buffet would hv been perfect but its still a great spread. I would like to extend our family's thanks and gratefullness for the restaurant's manager, chefs and all Kintamani's staffs for the wholesome dining experience🙏🏻

Food wise ok.. better to buy with eatigo app more worth it for the food = price. There's is an mrt quite near the hotel. Chilli crab was given flower crab instead of mud crab. Desserts hmm can just pass.. Durian penget don't taste like 100% durian. Kuih lapis is not soft and stretchy kind. Cakes not bad. The passing desert would be the 🍮 pudding! The casava (yellow) kuih was hard. Cream puffs and chocolate éclair are those frozen factory made I guess Laksa was not bad. Baked fish was ok as well Prawns - some was soft (not so fresh..?), some firm (fresher kind) Atmosphere was quite for a Thursday dinner, has abit of batiks painting on the walls.

I visited Kintamani Restaurant today for a discounted weekday dinner via Eatigo and had a great experience. The service was top-notch, particularly the gentleman who attended to us and an auntie who even took the time to show my loved ones where the toilet was while I was busy with the reservation. Kudos also to the aunties who were diligent about clearing dirty plates - it's the little things that make a difference. At 50% off, the price of $24 per pax before GST and Service Charge was reasonable for a hotel setting. However, at regular prices, I'd be more hesitant given the limited variety. The ambiance was lovely, and overall, it was a nice dinner. I'd recommend trying it out during promotions!"

After the renovation, the restaurant is brighter and spacious with two sections: halal section, and no pork no lard section; u cannot bring over food/plates from no pork no lard section into halal section. The variety is more indo-fusion / zi char. I miss and prefer the old kintamani.

Revisited this restaurant for their Weekend Buffet Lunch, due to a 50% promotional offer by Eatigo. Surprised that they have re-decorated and changed their buffet approach that came with better tasting foods. Although they are now offering a better range of Appetizers that include Salmon Sashimi, Makis, Cold Crabs, Mussels, Snails, Salad, Spring Rolls, and Gado Gado, i personally felt that there weren't enough main dishes on the day of our visit. For Mains, they had Rendang Kambing, Spicy Chicken, Chilli Crab, Beef Tendon, Cereal Prawns, Fried Fish Fillet, Roasted Beef & Duck, and only one Vegetable dish (Stir fried Broccoli, Cauliflower, Broad Bean, Carrot, Celery with garlic). And for those main dishes, they had 4 Carbs (Nasi Kuning, white rice, Fried Kway Teow and Mee Siam) to go along, which is strange in ratio. Desserts offered were more forgiving as they had about 8 different type, including warm bobo chacha. Coffee, Tea and drinks from Machines. Overall, i personally feel that its not value for money without the promotional discount due to the amount of Main Dishes offered. And even though the quality of their food have improved, they were still average without any distinct in flavours and suffered in texture as most meat were either overcooked, or not warm enough. Service staffs were attentive and efficient, as they offered to clear our emptied plate without asking. The lone staff attending to customers at the front desk was not as enthusiastic though, no smiles and too strung.

The restaurant is located at level 3 of the Furama Riverfront hotel (NOT Furama City Center). The restaurant setup is simple but the food served are generally delicious. There is quite a wide variety of Indonesian dishes served. I particularly find the Mutton Rendang and Ikan Bakar delicious. The seating is a bit tight but still acceptable. The price is reasonable and is comparable with similar class of buffet meals.
