America’s Most Beautiful Vineyards for Harvest Season

"With a glass-walled tasting room overlooking Washington’s Red Mountain terroir, I can bring the dog and the RV (Harvest Hosts partner) and stay overnight to enjoy decadent red wines and vineyard views; for a guided tour, I should request one when booking since tours are most likely led by the winemaker or general manager, members of the Williams family who own Kiona." - Katie Kelly Bell

Google
Great experience! We really enjoyed learning about the three generations who have developed this winery into a showcase in the Red Mountain AVA. Wine cards with descriptions of each wine allowed us to set our own pace. We pre-ordered a large charcuterie for our group of eight.

Rebecca F.

Google
I cannot say enough good things about this winery! We booked a tasting along with a charcuterie board while we explored the local vinyards. We intended to only stay for an hour or so, but ended up loving the gorgeous balcony, delicious wine, and great service so much that we cancelled our next stop so we could spent a lovely afternoon with a bottle of their Lemberger and some more charcuterie. We also learned a lot about the local vinyards and history as well, which is always appreciated. I can't get over how beautiful the entire facility and balcony was. It is one of the prettiest wineries I have ever been to! We will definitely come back again!

Katherine O.

Google
They have the best rosé and riesling here! Absolutely had to take a bottle home. Their charcuterie was also the perfect balance of all the necessary wine pairing snacks. So good!

Kristen V.

Google
This tasting room was a delight to visit. Savannah was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the wines and vineyards. We had a "small" charcuterie plate. It was quite big and easily fed 2 people. It was fresh, tasty, and had good variety. The tasting room was beautiful with a covered outside deck that overlooks the vineyards. The wine was amazing! Their reds definitely shine. I even like some varietals that I typically don't care for. I ended up joining their wine club :) Great service, wine, food, view, and atmosphere!

Google
My wife and I loved the wine selection. Kiona is making some top-notch wine. The location is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about their wine and the local wineries. I would recommend Kiona as your first stop in the Red Mountain AVA.

Tracie C.

Google
Robust, well-balanced wines in a beautiful setting. Savannah was an excellent ambassador who made us feel welcome. We left with 16 bottles and a new appreciation of Washington wines.

Jen L.

Google
One of my favorite wineries, beautiful location and very knowledgable staff. I joined on my visit and am excited to be a member of their wine club!

Google
Wonderful experience. Lots of great wines and food. Beautiful building with wonderful views of Red Mountain and Rattlesnake Mountain.

Yelp
If you're looking for a winery that nails the balance between incredible wine and an easygoing, welcoming vibe, Kiona Winery is it. We showed up a little late for our reservation, but you'd never know it by the way the staff greeted us. Everything was already set up and ready to go--no rush, no attitude, just genuine hospitality. That's actually one of the reasons we keep coming back: every visit feels effortless. The team knows their wines, they listen to what you like, and they guide you without ever making you feel out of place. The tasting room itself is beautiful--clean lines, warm wood, a modern Northwest feel. It's the kind of space where you can actually relax and enjoy yourself instead of feeling like you're in a tourist factory. You've got art on the walls, polished floors, and even those wooden kayaks that make you stop and stare for a second. It sets the tone before the first pour even hits the glass. And the wines... always on point. Whether you're into a silky dessert ice wine that tastes like it should be illegal, or you love those strong, bold reds that Kiona is known for, there's something here for every kind of palate. If you want a place that consistently delivers great wine, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere where you can actually unwind... Kiona is one of the best spots in the Tri-Cities area. Worth the drive every single time.

Yelp
Great service and very welcoming to the whole family. We felt right at home in this modern (art-museum-esque) facility with our 15-month old baby. The grounds of this 50+ year family winery are also beautiful and there is a lovely lanai / balcony with open landscape facing red mountain. The red wines were delicious and the diverse charcuterie and bread plate was more than enough for 2 people! Will definitely be back

Yelp
I had Kiona bookmarked for a while, we finally paid a visit during Labor Day weekend with our favorite winos. The tasting room is beautiful and the patio is dog friendly. Since we had our dog with us, we opted to sit outside. Luckily, it's a covered patio, so although it was a hot day, it could have been worse if we had direct sun, and the view of the vineyard on Red Mountain is phenomenal! We were greeted with a glass of rosè, and opted for tastings. There are 3 tastings for $20 (not counting the welcome glass), with generous pours. The fee is waived with bottle purchase of $30. I opted for mostly cab or cab blends. Honestly, I didn't care for the wine. I was actually disappointed as so many people have raved about Kiona. The best thing I tasted was the rosè. Maybe I chose the wrong wines to taste, but I'm not sure I'd buy Kiona wines. On the flip side, the staff were absolutely great! And the tasting room is gorgeous, and if the views are your thing, and you enjoy their wine, definitely pay Kiona a visit.

Yelp
Gorgeous views that make you forget you're just a human with bills to pay. Huge wine selection--something for every palate and every wallet. Tasting prices are refreshingly reasonable. Inside feels like you've wandered into a high-end art gallery--$8,000 paintings on the walls and, for reasons I don't fully understand but completely appreciate, a beautiful kayak on display. Only bites are charcuterie and bread with oil, which both looked awesome. Definitely a place I'd come back to...
google avatar

Christian D.

Yelp
It's hard to say what's better here between the friendly staff, the awesome charcuterie plates, or the fantastic wine. Luckily, you get it all here. This is a great place to try wine with friends and family because they have something for everybody between sweet wines to Strongs reds, and they're all good.

Yelp
We went there for the second time this year because we love this place so much! First we went there in April and we went there again on June 30th. The tasting experience were amazing, the service was awesome too! We sat outside and inside, they both giving us a different vibe. Comfy chair inside and cool AC, they also have toys for my toddler to play with. I didn't want to drink too much wine at the time, they offered me soda and sparking water, which is very nice that they have other options than wine. The view is pretty, always gonna stop there every time we going to the east side.

Sarah-Renee A.

Yelp
I have multiple food limitations (celiac, dairy, pork, walnuts, shellfish) so when Sarah at Kiona asked if I was getting food with my wine I said no. However she asked what my needs were and said she'd "throw something together". What she created was one of the most amazing meals I've ever had. There were different kinds of vegan cheeses, multiple kinds of gf crackers, salmon, olives etc and she added a bowl of gf bread and oil/vinegar. All in line with my dietary needs it was incredible. We're from Benton City originally and have been coming back to the area annually and specifically Kiona since they were doing wine tasting out of their garage, their wine had always been and continues to be fantastic. It's this kind of service and attention to detail that has allowed them to grow successfully and we're so glad to see that it continues thru their success! Thank you so much Kiona and Sarah you truly made our trip home to bury Grandma a brighter experience!

Yelp
I was glad Kiona was open for curbside service on my visit to the tri-cities. I have tasted their wines before and they have become some of my favorites, especially the reds and the rose.' So, I was really looking forward to coming here, even though I couldn't have a tasting. Jesse was such a great help in picking out bottles and I took in the view while waiting for my order. Thank you! While they were not open for tastings during the week, it was still fun to visit this gorgeous winery and their vineyards. And look over the balcony of their unique building. I'm not a wine tasting expert but I know what I like compared to other wines I've tasted and vineyards I have visited around the country and Kiona is a standout for me, in every way. The rose' was perfect with a charcuterie board of goat cheeses and smoked gouda at home and the lemberger was a drier red wine that went well with pellet grilled steaks we made. I poured a sip immediately on opening and got hit with the tannins. At first I wasn't sure I liked it, but the longer my glass and the bottle sat, the better it became. I'm so glad it was recommended to me. The specialty ice wine was very sweet but so smooth to sip and we enjoyed it with with cupcakes from a local bakery and pieces of dark chocolate squares. I will have dreams about the taste of that wine! It was worth the splurge for a bottle to start my birthday weekend off well.

Yelp
Excellent yet unpretentious winery featuring high quality wines. My best endorsement for this winery is that we bought several of their fine wines after our tasting (typically, I just come to wineries for the tasting). Pleasant and knowledgeable staff with nice vineyard views. Seating available on the patio overlooking the vineyards or at the serving station where you can chat with the staff. My favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc, which I would rate a 93 with my untrained palette. Reasonable prices (although they also have the classic $75 price point for some of their finest wines). :-) Highly recommend.

Yelp
My friend and I had a terrible experience here this weekend. We walked into the winery and a woman at the front counter greeted us and told us it was too busy at the counter inside so we'd have to sit outside. We went outside and had a seat and she brought us wine and said "This is our Sauvignon blanc. You'll have to go inside to get your next pour". She did not explain the wine, did not bring us a tasting menu, and did not bring us water. It was extremely bizarre. The counter had cleared out within a few minutes. Out on the patio with us were 3 other parties-- 2 parties were sharing a bottle and the third party was a group of 6 people at the table next to us doing a tasting who WERE getting served outside. Extremely confused and off put by the experience thus far, I went inside and asked a man at the counter if they served people outside. He said it depended if they were busy. I asked if it was busy right now. He said he no, just medium busy, and he would come out and serve us on the patio for our next pour. He was friendly. There were about 4 employees behind the almost empty counter. He came out a couple of minutes later and said, "the boss said I can't serve you on the patio." My friend and I asked why and he said, "there have been some problems in the past." While this conversation is happening, the woman who originally greeted us and brought us the first wine is pouring for the group of 6 next to us, being very friendly to them, and explaining the wine. I ask the man, "so we can't get served outside even though the group next to us is as we speak?" He says, "yes." My friend and I went inside and said we'd like to pay and leave. At that point another woman comes over and asks us is everything is okay and we say no and tell her we weren't happy with the service. She tells us the other group got served on the patio because they had a reservation. I don't see what a reservation has to do with anything and it also contradicted what the man working there told us. The whole experience was bizarre. The staff were rude and condescending. I will never go back and recommend that no one goes.

Yelp
Kiona is Red Mountain's star attraction, if not one of the best vineyard/winery operations in the entire state. Any time you see a wine maker boasting that their wine's grapes came from the "Heart of the Hill" - and many across the state do - Kiona grew the grapes. We've been to the tasting room three times now. The pourers are knowledgeable about their wines, love to talk about them, and are eager to please. After learning we'd been there before, they asked if we were interested in tasting some bottles that they had open which were off menu. We always say yes to this to any tasting room that offers, and we're glad we did. Their traditional menu consists of some of their flagships like Old Block, Big Kiona, Red Mountain Reserve, etc. They're all gems and IMO they are worth the lofty price of admission. What surprised me about our tasting this most recent time was that we primarily tasted their low end stuff and it equally excelled - the Chenin Blanc, Sangiovese, and Pioneer Red blend were great. They were excellent values as well in the $25-ish range per bottle. Many of their lower end wines are also easily accessible in local grocery stores, so this is a great way to introduce someone to quality Red Mountain wine at prices that won't break the bank. They have wines at low, mid, and high price points, have solid reds and whites, and are almost universally enjoyed both by new and seasoned wine drinkers. Visiting here is a no brainer if you're coming to Red Mountain.

Yelp
This was a really nice stop with excellent views. Sarah was a wonderful tasting expert. Left with 2 bottles of wine. This is a must see.

Yelp
Love Kiona! Ok this is my new favorite winery. Free tasting, loads of delishious dessert wines, and gorgeous views. I took loads of great pics. There is a huge deck area and places to sit outside. Plus a big indoor area with nice art work. I only wish they also served food, so that you can stay longer. Fun times @ Kiona! Love Kiona! Ok this is my new favorite winery. Yelp
We were recommended this winery and it did not disappoint! Beautiful location with a great outdoor patio where we sat with our dog! Very friendly staff that even brought our dog some water and a treat! Wines were delicious and we couldn't resist getting a couple bottles!

Yelp
My favorite tasting room and my favorite wines. I never liked a red until I visited Kiona! Great staff, free tasting, beautiful tasting room (even has a sneak peek down to the barrels). There is even outdoor seating so you can enjoy the view and soak up some sun If you're in the area, I suggest you make a stop!

Yelp
Fantastic venue, the Limburger is amazing and has excellent price point. You can't beat their wine club.

Yelp
Our group had a great wine tasting experience this past weekend. We made a reservation for the six of us and were treated to a fun and educational tasting by Rob. He had such a great sense of humor, but also gave us great information. The tasting room has beautiful views, and is extremely comfortable. We bought several bottles, and enjoyed a picnic on the covered deck.....despite the rain!
google avatar

Yelp
I arrived kinda late during a winter day, so all the views escaped me. But this is a nice open winery with a handful of seats scattered about so as not to disrupt the view. Then there is the wine -- a few on the sweeter side and one described as nectar (appropriately), and a few on the richer/redder side, included one (the $75 bottle) that just kinda floats across your tongue. I'm by no means a wine expert; I kinda just know what's bad and what is drinkable, and everything here is drinkable. Better yet, the staff members are wonderful, ultra friendly and knowledgeable in a way that reels you in, even if you don't know all the fancy words. Plus if you get any of the Dutch gouda, omg. Bottom line: Worth a stop while in the TriCities!
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
Friendly tasting room employees, beautiful view and excellent descriptions of wines and vineyards. They really tell you alot about each wine, good place to learn more about Red Mountain AVA and the wines it produces.

Carter P.

Yelp
Tim, our server, was AMAZING and gave an already beautiful experience better. The wine, the ambiance and the server were excellent!!!!! Worth the drive!

Yelp
We stopped by here on the way out of town because we heard the people at Kiona (k-eye-oh-na) are Cougs. The place is gorgeous. The tasting room is open and sunlight filled. I might be biased though since a friend of mine designed it. But it really is friendly and inviting. It's perched up on a hill and looks out over vineyards. Next time I'll be prepared to sit out on the patio and enjoy the view to it's fullest extent. The wine is good too! The tasting is free (always a bonus) and we tasted at least 8 to 10 wines. The variety of wines is impressive, we tried chardonnay, chenin blanc, riesling, lemberger, syrah, merlot, cab, zinfandel and a rose. We actually liked them so much we walked out with a case of wine. Our favorites were the Estate Chardonnay, the dry riesling, sangiovese and Estate Zinfandel. In fact I'm drinking the sangiovese right now! Prices are reasonable for the quality. BONUS: they sell little cardboard coolers that come with an ice pack, which is great for someone likes me who ALWAYS forgets to pack a cooler and then is tormented about leaving wine in a hot car all day.

Yelp
Great view great wine, wonderful spot to buy a bottle sit down and enjoy the view. Plenty of parking, you'll be happy you stopped in.
google avatar

Charles H.

Yelp
Literally, the perfect tasting room experience: 1) Absolutely beautiful facility and views 2) Good wines at a good price 3) Super cool staff pouring (what was her name?!) 4) Totally kid-friendly: sanitized toys, free water or juice boxes and couches to chill on 5) No tasting fee What else could you possibly want? We wound up buying a two bottles of their cult favorite Lemberger, a unique and tasty German varietal for only $12 each.
google avatar

Shawn S.

Yelp
This is a Vineyard=Vintner=Vineyard. They grow several varietals on their own property. JJ is ver friendly and informative and great passion for the business. They have an amazing view, modern tasting room, and locally grown bings for sale. They open at noon but we got there early and they let us in anyway. I loved the Sangiovese and can't wait to call in to place an order to ship.
google avatar

Allison P.

Yelp
Gorgeous winery!! Great wine. Amazing patio! Had the pleasure of meeting some sweet locals here! But the staff left something to be desired. They seemed very annoyed with our party of 6. This was our second stop for wine tasting. I know we were slightly talkative but the original lady helping us passed us off to a guy who just seemed beyond annoyed with us. And even sheeshised us!! I don't know if I would come back after how I felt from the staff.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Kiona has been one of our favorite wineries in the region for several years. We love our wine club shipments and are always pleased with the variety and quality. Many of my all time favorite wines come from Kiona! They offer a bit of something for every palette! My brother who doesn't drink wine was impressed with what they offer. It's not unheard of for our friends to go out to taste, buy a bottle, and sit on the patio and soak up the sunshine. They even welcome our daughter and JJ has taken time out of his busy day to offer up crayons or a basket of toys. As a group, we have brought 50+ people to the winery and have been received well with education and by knowledgable staff. We always call ahead to let them know our itinerary so they can be prepared for our large group. The venue is beautiful, the patio has gorgeous views, and the wines are delicious! It's always a stop for any wine tasting trip and regularly bring out of town guests there! I highly recommend it.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Great views, delicious wine, and the friendliest staff around. The employees are passionate and knowledgeable, and their focus is clearly on customer satisfaction. I've often pestered them with questions and they are always happy to oblige me and help however they can. I would recommend a visit to Kiona Vineyards to anyone who loves great wine and great company. I hope to come back soon.

Yelp
Nice tasting room with art. Nice view and wine, but higher than average $15 tasting fee. The best thing is that they have ~$15 to which you can apply the tasting fee so you basically get a free bottle. Also, we just learned about ice wine and the one they had was delicious but it was $50

Joel N.

Yelp
We visited Kiona a few days ago and enjoyed wine tasting and a great charcuterie & cheese & fruit plate. We have had great respect for Kiona wines, and never imagined that Kiona would sell a wine, even one ridiculously discounted, that tasted bad. Well, we fell for their deal, which was for $24 per case for some old stock (2015) of a red blend called Vivacious Vicky. We assumed it would not be good wine but also assumed Kiona would not sully their reputation by palming off a terrible wine. It's tastes somewhat like acetone smells and is also bitter. They advertize it as being good for cooking or sangria, and I suppose one could infer that it was not fit to drink as wine. Consider us duped. They still had about 8 cases remaining after we bought ours on 3/22/23, and we recommend that no one purchase it, despite the extremely low price. Kiona, as a company, has disappointed us. They should have dumped it all in the fields instead of selling it to patrons.
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
$15/person. Go before it gets busy. 2nd best patio view behind Col Salare. Free cheese with tasting. We bought the White Gewurztraminer because it was so different than any wine we had ever tried before. It was $20 which made the tasting free!
google avatar

Bob R.

Yelp
The original Red Mountain winery, and you can tell. The wines are all sumptuous, the setting is amazing, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I imagined a place with such an amazing reputation might be pretentious, but it's not at all! Just great wine at an affordable price in an awesome setting. Our new favorite Red Mountain winery.
google avatar

Chey O.

Yelp
Excellent wine, excellent view, friendly and personable staff. It was a bit hard to find, but once we got there we had a blast. We sat on the patio and watched the sun set while drinking wine. They were fine with us bringing our own snacks to have a little 'wine and dine' baby shower. Their wine is fantastic, I didn't try any that I didn't want to buy a bottle of right then and there. I'd love for them to add a kitchen and a food menu!

Yelp
The past 2 years we have visited friends in Richland and done some "speed tasting" (4 adults, 2 toddlers - trading off watching the kiddos while trying to taste some wine - in the late morning to get home before nap time)...I don't recommend this for the novice!! Besides Kiona, I've visited Tagaris, Bookwalter, Seth Ryan (run away, fast!) and Fidelitas. Kiona is BY FAR my favorite. They have the largest selection, so as far as pleasing a variety of people, they pretty much have it all covered. Also, I understand this tasting room is new, and it is really nice. They had some interesting art (our friend bought a piece). I wish it would have been a little less windy and we would have had a little more time because they had some great outdoor seating and some Beechers cheese for sale inside. The short of it, we bought a mixed case, the prices were reasonable, I enjoyed nearly the full range of their offerings (most other places I have 1 or 2 favorites at most) & the experience was helpful, educational, casual & comfortable. Go Kiona!
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
I came up from San Diego for business trip and my hosts wanted to take me on a wine tour in the famous Washington wine country for a great intro to the great northwest. Our third stop was the Kiona Vinyard, which the tour goes to every year as a drop in, and a favorite of the tour. We were met with a less than welcome greeting; as our party of 9; that purchased 16 bottles (which is less than previous years) at the end of that tour location, walked in the door; the guy snidely remarked to us loudly "If you plan to visit any more winery's you might want to let them know you are coming". It's a wine tour...... was it our Limo drivers duty to call ahead? Its a wine tour.....Why were we verbally scrutinized for arriving at a winery....? We probably won't come back. It probably depends on who is behind the counter.
google avatar

Philippe D.

Yelp
The tour made by Kiona is a must. They know their wines and the grapes. It is so refreshing to have a person who speaks about wine with knowledge and love instead of a script. The tasting room is big and a bit noisy. Like the various stands: white, red, dessert wine. The wines are great, some better than the other but make your own judgment.
google avatar

Mark Y.

Yelp
Always a great place to stop! fantastic wines and people. Truly a gift to Washington. Keep doing what you are doing!
google avatar

Margarita E.

Yelp
Not a good place to visit with large, diverse groups. I find it unbelievable that JJ W of Kiona Vineyards cannot address concerns of the public and writes generic responses to hand-picked feedback. If your bus policy is to be upheld, groups should be notified before entering your winery not allowed to enter and then be mistreated. Additionally, comments had nothing to do with not being served or "over poured" because there was obviously tasting done. The issue is with your staff not being direct and going as far as calling other businesses without giving guests prior knowledge or warning. Not only was the experience unpleasant but this does not speak positively of how you handle large groups. I'm very disappointed in your service. Please save yourself time if you're going to copy and paste a response.

Jose P.

Yelp
We arrived just prior to their Cav release party and was able to sample a few wines. We were able to meet and talk with the current owner. It was a wonderful experience. However, we were met by an individual who was soo proud of his education experience (totally unrelated to wine industry) and worked so hard to impress everyone at the wine bar with his dual master degrees. It was so much a turn-off that we opted to miss the release party, forgo purchasing any to go bottles, and just moved down the road. We may call ahead next time to save the gas.

Mellissa W.

Yelp
Great winery and vineyard. Very interesting history of WA grapes, and in the forefront of that story is Kiona. Comfortable environment, beautiful grounds, excellent staff which really adds to the experience. Quality vines which in turn produce awesome wines. Unique story and not the same run of the mill varietals. Great for beginners and well established wine drinkers. Military discount available, Kiona is a great military supporting establishment.
google avatar

Steven E.

Yelp
Still great Washington wine maker after all of these years. Mostly Red Mountain grapes. They have something for all tastes and budgets.
google avatar

Whit W.

Yelp
Excellent wine, incredible staff, beautiful buildings and vineyards. An absolute must visit stop if near the Tri-Cities.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the most unpleasant experiences in the years I have done spring barrel. Kiona vineyards isn't a place to go with diverse groups. As a previous post, staff seems not to handle very well loud large groups In their winery, which is very unfortunate, when spring barrel should be fun, enjoyable, and pleasant. Not so much at this winery. #willnotreturn #kionathumbsdown

Yelp
This winery not only has an exceptional view but also a beautiful patio to sit on and a nice large tasting room. They offer a large variety of wines to try at no cost which is always nice! One lady I forget her name, definitely poured the heaviest of any of the staff members there ;) The staff was really friendly and nice. They even offered some plain bread slices to cleanse the palette which I like since sometimes after going to so many places, your palette starts getting a little burned out. I really enjoyed their Zinfindel. Of all the other Zin's I had tried at other places this weekend. I found this place to be the most flavorful BUT also well balanced, it was not over peppery. So I bought a bottle of it. I also really liked their Dry Riesling which I love to cook with and have a great recipe for it to go in! The last bottle of wine I got was called a Lemberger varietal. This too me was really tasty and something that is not very common so I had to buy a bottle of that too. All in all I thought the prices were really reasonable. If you are interested they offer horseback riding at the top of the hill. Unfortunately I was in a dress and couldn't partake in any of that but if anyone is interested in going for a nice horse back around red mountain you can!

Yelp
This is my third year coming to this winery during Spring Barrel as a tradition with a group of friends. This year we were beyond dissatisfied with the service of some employees of this winery. From the minute we stepped off our bus, we were greeted quite unpleasantly by the staff taking our passes. We visited about 12 different wineries and Kiona's service, in comparison, was very unpleasant. We asked one employee in particular, who was outside taking our passes, to take a group photo (group of 13 from all over WA) and she happily accepted. We thanked her and with a smile on her face she said good bye. Before taking off she approached our bus driver and had a discussion with him about our "behavior." She stated we were rude to the staff and asked where we were going next. Our bus driver took off to the next winery and without realizing what she had caused, we continued on with our experience to enjoy the rest of our Spring Barrel. Turned out, she had called management in the next winery to "warn" about our group and make sure that we were not served. The problem I have with this experience is that this individual could have approached us while she was taking the picture or at any point during our visit to her winery. However, instead, she decided to make a phone call to the next winery. I can say that the majority of us in the group were perfectly able to have a conversation with her and were opened to receive any feedback regarding our "behavior." Not only was our experience in Kiona unfortunate, but it also snowballed to the rest of the wineries and ended our annual Spring Barrel on a bitter note. My friends and I will be skipping Kiona for next Spring Barrel and we will be very honest with our recommendations to friends and family around the State of Washington. If possible I would give 0 stars, due to unpleasant treatment and not so good wine.

Yelp
We found this vineyard about three years ago. The Lemberger is our house wine. We love all of their wines, but the Lemberger, cab Merlot and rose are exceptional. We live in Texas and order about 10 cases a year. Absolutely fantastic Service... Every time.

Yelp
One of my favorites not only in red mountain but in all of Washington! The views are gorgeous and the wine is delicious. A must if you're in the area.

Yelp
Kiona is our family go to place for great tasting wines, especially white wines. Amazing view while sampling, and really enjoyed the barrel tasting tour at spring barrel tasting!

Yelp
The wine was delicious! They also wave your tasting fee if you purchase a bottle. Staff was super friendly. Our group was lucky to have Don for our tasting. He was very sweet and very informative. Scenery was also beautiful.

Yelp
Kiona was a wonderful experience. Despite the tasting room being fairly busy and my coming alone, I had an excellent personalized tasting experience. The wines I sampled were likewise excellent, with a variety ranging from the classic big reds (but each with a unique personality) to Rose's, whites, and dessert wines. There was no pressure to buy or join the club, though I happily left with half a case to bring home and share. I'll definitely be back.
