William Cepeda brought my wife and I here for dinner after visiting a local art gallery. The owners stayed open past closing time to wait for us. We had an excellent dinner. Such cordial and wonderful people! And the food? Oh my word!! Absolutely amazing. Excellent red snapper, and tostones, fantastic empanadas, the piononos were incredible! Every bite of each dish was an experience worth the flight!! We loved it and are so thankful for the opportunity to enjoy some delicious Puerto Rican delights! Would recommend 10/10

Plenty of parking, fast service, and good food. Our family got a variety of things. Just a note, when ordering, make sure you get two of something since the portion sizes are pretty small. For instance, I ordered chicken arepas but I didn't specify how many I wanted so it was only one. It was delicious. Definitely recommend this place when you're headed to the beach.

Wait took over an hour. Everyone was complaining and no explanation was given just that they had a problem. Multiple guest waiting for 45mins to an hour. The order was completely messed up. Switched items out without asking. Missed several items on my order. Literally the worst experience I have had in my 10 days on the island.

It was probably not a good day for my first visit, the waiting time was extremely long, the alcapurrias were fried at the wrong temperature, they were burnt and raw.

Local family owned and operated Kiosko right next to beautiful beach. This place is respected by locals for its fresh seafood. I sampled a few things shrimps and conch cocktails were good, Mofongo a bit too dry and too salty to my taste. I’ll probably come back and try few other things when I come to the beach there.
I like to support hard working black family owned friendly local businesses.
Additional Notes:
Open on weekends only.
Has own parking.
Serves beer & hard liquor.

I have been going to this same kioskos since 1989. The food has always been great, and the staff is friendly, caring, and on it. Definitely the best in Piñon3s.

Shack on the beach. Any other place in the US you would not stop but you must. Everything is made to order, the grab comes right from the backyard sea. The cod fritters with hot sauce are crisp and airy. The best hands down is the conch on fry bread. Almost like a ceviche flavor but very different and crazy tender

The problem with the food. I asked for shrimp stuffed mofongo. The mofongo was o.k nothing spectacular but the shrimps were cold like salad ( from the fridge) no even warm. No sauce at all.

Yelp
This is in the area of Piñones and we went to get real authentic Island Fritters and Seafood in front of the beach. It's serviced by locals and the service is so good they are so humble and happy that do not want to leave, the vibe is so happy as music and dancing are going on it's outdoors and very fun.
we tried the Beef alcapurrias, Shrimp empanadas, Conch salad, and the Crab rice with beans(salmorejo de jueyes). all was delicious. Highly recommend a trip to Piñones.

Yelp
Nice AUTHENTIC PR place across a small street from the beach. Everytime I visit PR I come here for Piononos!

Yelp
Food was cheap and tasted fine but the mofongo was nothing to write home about and the shrimp/carne could've used more flavor.
For a beach side stand this meal did the trick. The 3 stars was for the wait time. We waited about 1.5 hours for the meal which was waaaaay too long for two mofongos. Be aware of the long wait time due to a slow and potentially understaffed kitchen.

Yelp
Unassuming little shack with great food!
Got a crab alcapurria, beef pastelillo, and a bacalaito and some beers
Alcapurria was okay, but I tried my friend's crab pastelillo and it was soo good! Get that!
The dough is flaky and delicious
The bacalaito was great too and really large for just $1.50
The perfect snack! Don't forget your ice cold medalla :')

Yelp
A roadside shack across from Playa Vacia Talega that serves the best Puerto Rican food I had during my time on the island. I tried one of each of the alcapurrias (there are six different fillings), tostones, and mofongo. The mofongo was the perfect consistency with the right amount of garlic and seasoning. All of the alcapurrias were great, but the conch, crab, and shrimp fillings really stood out-all of the seafood was extremely fresh.

Yelp
5 STARS *****
This place is a gem of gems:
My family that is still here in Puerto Rico brought me here for the authenticity of the alcapurria, pulpu and crab.
Everything is incredible here. The crab rice and habichuelas are second to none.
The hospitality is genuine and authentic that can be felt from the moment you walk up, to the moment you leave.
Above and beyond: I pulled up with a headache and I asked for coffee which was not on the menu. Unfortunately, they could not accommodate, but the next thing you know one of the owners came out with a coffee for me for free.
Seafood: 5 Stars all the way

Yelp
This is a wonderful place to visit if you are visiting the beautiful beach at Vacia Talega. The people running this are absolutely wonderful. We lost our car keys and they stayed open and waited for us for three hours. They left chairs and tables out for us and even left their restroom open. When our road side assistance finally arrived, we felt we were leaving family behind.
The food is also wonderful. We enjoyed the chicken and code empanadas and fried plantains. They have a lot of options for beer and delightful pina colada's. If fan of hot sauce, I would definitely ask for some because it want just hot but also full of flavor.
The place was clean as well :)
Hope you are able to visit and enjoy their food and hospitality because they are really wonderful.

Yelp
Expect them to serve you last if you're a non-spanish speaker. Food was ok. Luckily a local helped us order but waited for almost 30 minutes for our order and noticed about 5 people that ordered behind us getting their food way before us.
