Kira's Boutique Hotel, Lda

I booked this hotel at the last minute, having been let down by Cabo Verde Airlines how made me miss the ferry. I was given a spacious upstairs room. Although there was no lift, a porter carried my bag up. The wi-fi worked. Room was clean. The location of the hotel is central with easy access to plenty of eateries. Breakfast was of good quality. I'd go again.

Great hotel with a lot of character. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, great location. Rooms are large with AC. My only minor complaint was that the pillows were too hard but still 5 stars.

I stay in a LOT of hotels and Kira’s is just about perfect. Rooms are great - very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Lovely courtyard for eating, working, or just hanging out. Would love to return and spend a few nights here.

During our holiday on Cabo Verde we’ve stayed for four nights in the hotel. The hotel is located very close to shops, restaurants and banks. The main square of Mindelo is very close. Our room was big and clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is really a very good opportunity for a visit of Mindelo.

Boutique hotel, small rooms but comfortable. Ensure you get a room at the back of the hotel as the front is on a noisy street. Lovely staff, very helpful with everything inc booking restaurants for evenings. Good breakfast though if you want eggs, delay asking until you are ready for them, the kitchen is too quick / efficient! Departure flights were delayed and as usual, Isobel (the owner) couldn’t have been more helpful letting us stay on a few extra hours. Highly recommended!|

We had a lovely stay at Kira’s Boutique Hotel. The location is perfect to discover the city of Mindelo. The staff was welcoming and friendly as was Isabel who recomended some nice restaurants. We loved the roof terrace to enjoy the sun and relax after a day trip.

We found a treasure in Mindelo! Beautifully designed hotel with a lot of attention to details. Breakfast was awesome, staff and host were super friendly and supportive. Perfectly located, as all POI are in reach by foot. A strong recommendation for your stay in Mindelo and for supporting local family business on the island.

What a breath of fresh air after travelling the islands. We couldn't quute believe how lucky we were to find this gem. It really did feel like coming home. The staff were attentive, the suitcases (for the first time in Cape Verde) were whisked away before we had even checked in, and again on an early departure the security man was at our door to take our cases down. The hotel is clean, clearly cared for and maintained well. High speed Internet throughout, good breakfast eaten in the courtyard garden. There is a rooftop terrace to sit and relax. All very peaceful, good standard of English by all staff. The staff are clearly treated as family as they all sat together to eat after the guests had finished breakfast. Wish we were staying longer, such an oasis. Thankyou.
