Ordered the famous club sandwich box. Overall the sandwich was pretty good. Lots of ham and turkey on the sandwich. Although the bacon was not crispy like it said in the description. It was fatty and rubbery. And sandwich had no mayo. If it did, it must have been very light. They do have packets in which you can add. Got the box lunch where you get a delicious cookie and chips. The guy that took my order was a bit grouchy. Somewhat impatient for a customer that was there for there first time.

Google
I absolutely love this place. Everything you get from here is amazing. The cookies, the key lime pie, the cherry turnovers, the cranberry blood orange scones, the pineapple upside-down cakes, the bread, Everything! The only thing I'd change is for them to be open longer 🤣 10/10 recommended.

Google

Google
Great experience in the oldest Bakery in Paducah. Loved the pimento grilled cheese and snagged a lemon bar.

Chelsey Eaton

Google
They have the best chicken salad on fresh cranberry walnut bread! The club sandwich is huge and very tasty. Kirchoff's is a must try! We always stop in at Kirchoff's when we're in Paducah. The fresh bread is great, and you can buy it by the loaf as well. The cookies are delicious. I love their lemonade. It tastes homemade.

Google
The food is good but the service was not. Be prepared to be insulted if you don’t give a tip while ordering at the counter. To be clear you order and pay at the counter, you take a cup and fill your own drink, then when your number is called you go to the counter and pick up your food, when done you clear your own table. So when the old grouchy man asked me for a tip all I could think was…what for. As we walked away he said “thanks for letting us make your sandwich” wasn’t sure how to take that. This is the same service you receive at McDonald’s but they have never asked for a tip.

Google
A cool historic place to eat. They stay hoppin', and our wait for our food was about 20 mins, but it was a delicious sandwich. Their deli is connected to their bakery, which has fantastic-looking loaves and cookies. It also opens to the coffee shop next door.

Google
The bakery it's simply from another world, the taste of the chocolate chip cookie and the lemon pie are something amazing.

Yelp
I've wanted to eat here for years but was never in Paducah at the right time. Finally! The coldest day in February was the day! It was 11:30 and not too busy. Noticed a lot of takeout business. The sandwiches were ready quickly and were fantastic! The historic building and front entry are awesome. Of course we had to try the epic club sandwich, which did not disappoint. The side of pesto bow tie pasta was delicious and shared. The tuna salad was very good, but I'll try something else next time. A couple of cookies and a loaf of bread later (from the bakery) and I was a very happy camper. Definitely a great lunch spot!

Yelp
For handicapped people in wheelchairs, this establishment is one of the worst. The handicapped entrance isn't indicated and very difficult to locate. We had to find a wheel-chair entrance which is hidden in a grimy alley. It's obvious they did the very least possible to meet code, there's been no inspection, or the inspector turned a blind eye. If you have someone to go in and order for you and bring your food out, the food is awesome.

Yelp
Sandwiches were good I like thier whole wheat bread and the Baklava is Fantastic. So as a restaurant it's Ok but it's a Great Bakery.

Yelp
We arrived minutes after they opened. I know from stopping in the area before, you need to get here early. My boyfriend loaded up on a couple quiche, bagel, scones as I got a bear claw and apricot pastry. I'm gluten and dairy free but I can manage some things ok. I definitely can't eat the quiche- and that makes me sad. My boyfriend kept going on and on about the pesto one! We are traveling through, so mine will last a little bit. Or else I will suffer and no one wants that traveling. The area the bakery is in, is downtown, old district. Don't be afraid to park a little away and walk. It's nice scenery. Everyone was nice this morning. I wouldn't have know about the bear claw but someone else asked for one. The pastries were mounded on the trays and you couldn't see them all from the front. Hidden gems! I say too many cookies in the case! Make room for the good stuff! This is going to be another go to on our travels.

Yelp
If you're traveling on I-24 and are needing a coffee / sweet tooth break, then do yourself a favor and check this place out! A family owned and operated business that spans 5 generations. They're located just a block off the banks of where the Tennessee River joins the Ohio River. Kirchhoff's Bakery is ALWAYS selling fresh bread with daily bread specials. We were wanting to buy a loaf of their sourdough bread but was informed that they were just getting ready to take it out of the oven and it wouldn't be ready until about 45 minutes later. No problems as we found some fresh baked sweet treats. We purchased a serving of their Chocolate Chip Cheese Cake; a serving of their All Good Bar; several Cowboy Cookies (oatmeal, chocolate chips, & pecans); and, since Halloween was just a couple of days away, 4 Halloween themed cookies. Additionally, we bought a couple of servings of their spinach quiche for breakfast (the sweets were for later). I can attest to the delicious taste of the Cowboy Cookies and the (OMG) Amazing taste of the All Good Bar (peanut butter and chocolate). They were both really good! The spinach quiche was excellent, btw. Their deli lunch menu boasts hot and cold sandwiches, stuffed pitas, crisp salads and steamy soups. A private coffee shop adjoins their bakery next door. One can walk through their open room to next door to order some delicious coffee, lattes, mochas, or tea. Yes, it's a few minutes drive off the interstate, but well worth your time to visit. We'll be stopping in again when we make our trip back up north for Christmas. Maybe I can buy a Rudolph Reindeer Cookie? Ha! Check them out! Yelp
Was recommended by coworkers to check out the bakery if I could catch it while it's open. I was able to visit during the deli hours (11AM-2PM) for lunch. I ordered a Reuben, red grape salad as my side, and a drink. The service was very quick (less than 5 minute wait time) and was made fresh to order. There are daily specials listed near the order counter. The red grape salad is so good!! Red grapes in a cinnamon/brown sugar cream sauce with walnuts. After lunch, I went next door to the bakery to purchase some goods to take to home and share. I purchased two loaves of bread, 2 cookies, and 2 pastry items and it was around $20. If all oh these items are half as good as the deli items, they are definitely worth more than the price paid! Good size cookies and pieces of pastry. Staff was friendly and plenty of seating at the deli counter. Will make sure to stop in any time I'm in the area!

Yelp
Fantastic from the bread to the sandwiches in the deli to the baked goods and desserts you won't be disappointed a true Hometown Marvel I visited when I was staying with friends and it brought a smile to my face

Rico R.

Yelp
Awesome bakery, all fresh homemade pastries. Deli was also outstanding. Great sandwich's. Lively atmosphere.

Jim R.

Yelp
This a MUST visit when coming to Paducah! The club sandwich is big enough for two!! They also have cookies, called Cowboy Cookies that are so worth any calories! There are no calories when eating out here-at least they are worth it!

Liz K.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this bustling bakery on a road trip to Nashville. First let me start by saying that the arts district this restaurant is in is so great. I looked up sandwiches on Yelp and Kirchoff's was the winner. I had the grilled chopped beef with horseradish sandwich. I was large enough to split with the pesto pasta salad on the side. The sandwich was grilled perfectly and not greasy but I wish that the horseradish sauce was more flavorful. The pesto pasta salad though, stole the show! Served cold and creamy with the right amount of flavor. I could've eaten that alone. The place both inside and out was so incredibly welcoming and made you want to go check it out. The line for lunch is long but that to me means people love this place. I didn't have anything from the adjoining bakery but the breads in there looked so good. I guess I'll need to make a return trip for a loaf or two next time. Note; if you want a unique cold sandwich this might not be the place for you.

Yelp
Excellent lunch! Bakery goods are the best! stopped and enjoyed coffee shop and shopping!

Rachel R.

Yelp
This place came recommended by a friend of mine, and I am so glad we went! We got a loaf of challah, a loaf of Jewish rye, baklava, chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bar, and an oatmeal raisin cookie. We will be coming back every time we are in the area for those oatmeal raisin cookies! The rye bread is crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The baklava was great, and not something I see often down here. I can't wait to try the restaurant!

Yelp
This is the best bakery I've ever been to in my life! All the way from San Francisco even. We tried like 6 of the baked goods and 2 sandwiches. Our favorite was the chess pie/cake. Devoured it and went back the next day for more. Also these were sooooo good: Pumpkin chess cake Southern pecan bar Millionaire shortbread All good bar Mocha chip cookie Apple crisp cookie 2 sandwiches - the Cuban (bread was amazing) And a club which was huge. Christy was there and the sweetest person ever. Highly recommend this spot in Paducah. (cute town too with lots of history)

Stevielyn S.

Yelp
What can I say but O.M.G!!!! Everything thing is fresh and made perfectly! Even on a 100-degree day, the homemade mushroom soup was amazing and should not be skipped! We also had shrimp po boy and turkey bravo sandwich with a side of potato salad! I don't think I could pick a favorite bc everything was just that good!

Amy L.

Yelp
Great little lunch stop right in the middle of adorable downtown Paducah. Good selection of tasty sandwiches made fresh, bagged chips and bottled soft drinks. Nothing fancy, but definitely satisfying. I love the spring turkey sandwich on cranberry walnut bread. Make sure to grab some cookies, brownies or lemon bars from the bakery counter on the way out.

Fred M.

Yelp
I love this place! We were passing through Paducah on New Year's Eve Day, and happened upon Kirchoff's Bakery by chance. It is a quaint little place, about half a block from the town square, one block from the National Quilt Museum, and one and a half blocks from the Ohio River. It was a beautiful day, and we just needed to get out and stretch our legs. We hadn't eaten and we were looking for a quick bite. We split a bagel and cookie. Both were delicious! Paducah is a quick and pleasant drive from the highway. If you are ever passing by, I recommend checking out this historic town, and grabbing something at Kirchoff's Bakery. Get your food to go, and enjoy it while taking a stroll on the River Walk.

Brittany W.

Yelp
My friend found this bakery during a recent trip to Paducah. The bakery only let 6 people in the store at a time. Guests wait outside. There are some tables available outside for guests to eat. The bakery offera a variety of breads, pastries, and cookies. The sugar cookies tasted great! The staff was nice, helpful, and patient as I contemplated my choices. There was some parking available in near the front of the bakery for limited time. There was more parking available around the corner with no time constraints. Highly recommend this as a stop if you are in downtown Paducah.

Star P.

Yelp
I love their cowboy cookies and the pecan brownies. Everyone is nice. Great history downtown. Love the sandwiches.

Susan D.

Yelp
Service was friendly and informative. She obviously loves her town. We bought a loaf of bread which she sliced to order. Oh my. So delicious. So were the cookies--mocha chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin. Ambiance is like a beautiful yesterday for both young and old. Go there, spend some money and enjoy their bakery products!!

KJ A.

Yelp
One of my favorite Paducah businesses. The food is exceptional and the bakery experience makes it all worthwhile.

Peggy O.

Yelp
A classic old bakery and deli- love this old building and decor. Came a bit on the later side right before closing - they were out of the salads and soups but there was still plenty of options in the sandwich department. The cranberry pecan bread caught my eye and ordered that to go with my blt. It was good- nothing amazing . Wishing the bacon had been warmed up to crisp it up a bit. The bakery was a different story, which was in a separate area. Lots of bread options, muffins, cookies, brownies , etc etc took lots of self xo trip to not over order . Thanks

Salena D.

Yelp
Club had LOTS of meat. Turkey Artichoke sandwich was okay but wished it wasn't so salty. The French Onion Soup was SO AMAZING!

Sara F.

Yelp
This is a favorite when I'm entertaining Corporate in my facility. Their breakfast/baked goods are unparalleled as are their lunches. I buy their granola for yogurt bowls weekly because my kids and I love it so much

Darlene H.

Yelp
Delicious lunch! Portions were large and we wound up taking half of it home to enjoy later!

Ginni K.

Yelp
The Deli was amazing. Great selection of sandwiches! Continuous line of folks placing and picking up their orders. I had a delicious ham and Brie on cranberry bread. Hubby had the muffuletta sandwich. With the bread it was close to 4 inch tall. It almost overflowed the basket. As usual I forgot to take any pics.

Steven Q.

Yelp
The food is amazing, the cuban sandwich is stellar. The owner is super friendly and welcoming as well.

David V.

Yelp
Wonderful pit stop. The green tomato blt was amazing. Quick and friendly service too!

Margaret C.

Yelp
A must stop if in Paducah my favorite and all time must have is the Fried Green Tomato BLT awesome Service is always friendly and with a smile and fast

Cosimo D.

Yelp
Went before 7 am, and there were danishes, quiche, bagels and breads. Nice little spot with congenial staff. Next time I return to the area I'll certainly make another stop here.

L S.

Yelp
Very nice little river side bakery that also serves sandwiches. Sweets were not over the top, but a nice treat to walk around nibbling on cookies, lemon tarts and possibly a day old berry tart wandering thru the cute river front town.

Megan A.

Yelp
Great food, really good price and kind people working. We stopped in to grab items for breakfast for a few days when we were traveling. There were lots of options and everything we tried was great!

Barbara D.

Yelp
A great old style deli! The sandwiches are huge, easily big enough to split! I will be back whenever I'm in Paducah!!

Jacqueline R.

Yelp
Fresh baled goods, soups and sandwiches to order and great customer service. Kirchoff's Bakery is In beautiful downtown Paducah and won't disappoint.

Jo N.

Yelp
Love love love this bakery! I don't think you can go wrong with any they make. But if you are looking for suggestions try their Brown butter chocolate chip cookies, any savory pastry, Chocolate chip cheesecake bar, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich. We were to early for bread. Next time we are in Paducah we will try their deli.

Doug R.

Yelp
Excellent service. Very fast. Clean and easy to find a table. I like the historical atmosphere.

Adrianna O.

Yelp
WOW! I loved everything I tried here! The bread was great, my sandwich was amazing, the cookies were amazing. Such a cute little walk around the downtown too! This Arizona girl can't wait to visit Paducah again for another batch of pastries from this bakery!

Cathy E.

Yelp
I enjoyed a delicious chicken salad sandwich for lunch. It was served on cranberry bread. Loved this unique twist. It was one of the best chicken salads I've ever had, and I've had a LOT of chicken salad! I was too full for dessert, but I had to get some to go....I tried the sugar, oatmeal and chocolate chip. All were absolutely amazing and I went back for seconds the next day (live in St Louis, so it was now or never) Also had a desert bar that was shortbread, Carmel and a thick layer of chocolate fudge. I sooo wish I had had a glass of milk to go with it. It was so amazingly rich and delicious. All well worth the price and the calories!

Amanda D.

Yelp
Small bakery in downtown Paducah. They had so much to choose from! I ended up with a loaf of sourdough bread along with some cookies. They are limiting the number of customers to 6 at a time. They have a few tables outside so you can enjoy your goodies.

Joy S.

Yelp
Thank you Kirchhoff! My son-in- law, who knows good food when he tastes it, adores the coconut pie you baked for him! Great food from you = brownie points for me! As for me, I had the French onion soup (best ever!) crustless quiche (well seasoned; absolutely delish) and a praline bar(OMG!!!) You better believe I'll be back tomorrow! Can't wait!

Tracey W.

Yelp
A very good and friendly bakery open early in old downtown Paducah. Good pastry recipes! We had a couple of tomato pesto quiches, followed by a blueberry cheese danish before a long day on the road. Loved our breakfast, and couldn't resist taking more goodies to go! The coffee shop next door was closed, but Kirchhoff's had some coffee to offer...unfortunately no decaf for my husband, though. The staff was friendly, helpful and energetic...even though Paducah's old town area appears to have been hit hard by the pandemic. Hopefully, Kirchhoff's will weather the storm.

Kendal M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, Great food! Walking in greeted by the temptation of unique sweets that you don't want to miss on your way out. Deli has great variety of hot and cold sandwiches, plus soups, sides and more if your near the Carson Center definitely stop by.

Jackson M.

Yelp
A Paducah must-visit! Perfectly delicious and delightful baked-daily bakery items including bagels, breads, danishes, muffins, cookies, pies, and more await you. Don't think about it, just point to whatever looks good to you, and let the welcoming staff fill a few red and white striped boxes for you.

Devin D.

Yelp
Came here early afternoon on a Saturday and looked like they had already been cleared out of most bakery items. And I can tell why! Got a Praline & Cream bar and a brownie to go. Both to die for.

Angela B.

Yelp
What a cute little bakery! This is the perfect place to ruin any diet within 5 minutes of walking in the door. Great staff amazing baked good - and try the crackers! Right next door is the coffee to go with the goodness.

Joey K.

Yelp
Wonderful fresh baked bread that is distributed all across Paducah! The bakery has delicious items!

Paige B.

Yelp
If you want fresh delicious breads and treats, this is the only place to visit. The simple too-notch ingredients make this place special. He even makes BAKLAVA like a pro! You'll love this little gem!

Roger D.

Yelp
Stopped in and the service was great we bought some fresh bread and cookies and some dipping oil. Cookies were great

Matt M.

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches, coffee, and baked goods alike -- a "must stop" destination in beautiful Paducah. Love the charming ambience, too, and the pleasant, helpful staff. The surrounding neighborhood is vibrant and attractive, and Kirchhoff's itself is an integral part of it. (Locally owned, generational business. Love it.) Five huge Yelp stars!

Angelina D.

Yelp
I know this is a huge tourist attraction but I personally was not amazed with the sandwiches, they were good but not "life changing" as others would say. The employees were wonderful though. You could tell they were working hard and fast, they took the time to thank each customer and in my book that goes a long way. The bakery did have some great choices to chose from. We bough the sourdough loaf and have been eating slices day after day. The cafe next door was also delicious and reasonably priced. They have board games available for customers to play while they drink coffee, my daughter and I found the game "spot it" and before we knew it we had been playing for about an hour and a half. I have been here a few times during my stay and when I return I will definitely be back! I'm returning for the enjoyment I had with my family, the delicious cafe drinks, AND FOR THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE that came from each store. (Sandwich, cafe, and bakery)
