On arrival to our hotel we were informed it was closed and that we were being moved to the Kiri Boutique - its sister hotel. Our first night we were put in an awful room, but upon request in the morning we were moved to one of the balcony rooms. The rooms were in need of a good clean, but the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was nice and the pool was lovely. We booked an Angkor Wat tour through the hotel and they were very helpful and the driver was very nice. The hotel is in a good location - just a $2-3 ride to Pub Street and nice and quiet.

This hotel was not exactly what we expected based off of the pictures/description. We were on the first floor by the pool. The shower was extremely dirty from water damage over time. The room itself was very basic, which was fine, but smelt like mold. I have bad allergies so I could automatically tell what the scent was. Low and behold if you looked on the wall above our headboards there were little specs of mold on the wall. We only stayed in the room a few hours because we got up extremely early for the temples....Personally I wouldn't recommend staying here. I mean it was inexpensive, but not worth getting sick with the mold issue. The air conditioning also did not really work. The staff was nice but not really helpful with our concerns.

When we eventually arrived (as it is not the easiest place to find) we discovered that the hotel did not have our booking. They then found the booking and after chit-chat amongst themselves led us through the less-than-clean back of reception (where a staff member was probably sleeping overnight as there was a mattress there) and up some stairs to two also less-than-clean bedrooms. When I said 'but these are not the deluxe pool view bedrooms we had booked and paid for' I was told that they didn't have any of those left. Their excuse was that the hotel had been bought by a new owner in January. We hurriedly found another, MUCH better hotel, in a MUCH better location - for only $20 more per night - so MUCH better value also!

It was a nice hotel overall. Breakfast was ok, staff nice and room was big and clean and right beside the pool.|I would have given it 4 stars if it wasn't for the pool which was no clean. Water was cloudy and there was a lot of dark green slime between the tiles. Not pleasant.|Other little issues were that the Security box didn't work and there was a few mozzies in the room.|Good hotel overall given the low price but they need to pay attention to the pool as it was a big let down

I will start off with the $25 room. Second level with chair and table outside with a poolview. Price of accommodation a bit overpriced. There are better choices within the same prizerange. Breakfast included, but only eggs or noodles for a choice. ||Pool alright and looked nice, but watch for the stonepath around it, you might falk because of poor maintanance. ||The room was not super clean, bathroom not my cup of tea wirh a stained wall, showercurtain...not looking good and traces of mold on the wall. Would not recommend, especially if you have certain allergies.

We booked online and had confirmation, on arrival we were told they had no rooms for us as a large Chinese group had come. We had 4 rooms booked. Although the staff were apologetic, they organised us to stay at the place next door which turned out to be a nicer hotel. ||We still got free breakfast from them while we stayed which was generous. ||Check booking before going, or better yet, book into the Tropical boutique next door. :)

I stayed at the Kiri Boutique Hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of September. It is located 1km east from Pub Street along High School Road and was very convenient to go around Siem Reap with a Tuktuk.| The room was large enough and clean but because of some managerial issues, I could have only breakfasts but the restaurant was not available at night. TV and some of other services were also not available regardless of their website. |Anyway, all of the staffs were very helpful and friendly, I thought it was good for the price among the hotels of this class.

We stayed here for four nights May 24- May 27 in the Villa room.||||It was our last stop on our month long family trip and I am so happy I picked this hotel to stay at. Clean, quiet, good location and helpful staff. We enjoyed the pool after a day at the Temples.||||Our family of four enjoyed our room and the comforts of home.||Thanks again for a great stay.
