We absolutely loved our stay at Karikayan Resort! The place is wonderfully secluded, and the atmosphere is pure bliss. There’s a 7-Eleven and a small fruit shop just around the corner, so you can enjoy fresh fruit or grab some snacks any time you like.
The nightlife area is also nearby—about a 15-minute walk if you fancy an evening out. There are several local restaurants, tailors, and everything else you might need within easy reach. The resort itself isn’t large, which makes it feel cozy and peaceful, and the location is just perfect.
The beach is literally a 30-second walk away, and most of the time it was just us and maybe a handful of other people—so it really feels like your own private island.
Breakfasts were simple but satisfying: eggs cooked any way you like (scrambled, omelette, poached), with tomatoes, cucumbers, pasta or steamed vegetables, some cheese, and bread. Nothing fancy, but definitely enough to start your day well.
My only small suggestion to the management would be to add some shelves or cupboards for better storage in the rooms.
Overall, I totally enjoyed my two-week stay and would love to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and a taste of local culture.
