Sooooo... lets try a new (to me) traditional fine Japanese sushi place. It was a pleasent surprise coming out of my comfort zone as i was quite particular with raw seafoods. At a fine restaurant, must order their finest. Scallop, geoduck, saba, hamachi, tai, kanpachi, ikura, uni, chu toro sashimi (side story, i initially ordered blue fine toro, but the chef recommended chu toro instead, cheaper, but goes better with the sake we bought, nice), beef tongue grilled, lamb, wasabi tako, with one thing in common - Fresh! Inaniwa noodle, simply made, well done. Service was great, my hot tea was never empty and more importantly never cold! Relaxing atmosphere, ambience is dim yet clean. one of my top pick for the finest traditional Japanese restaurant in Richmond. ps. the chirashi don is one of their signitures, will try next time.
