Second visit here. Restaurant is busy as always. The place can use and update. Order the $75 omakase (7 courses), good for the price and it actually fills you up unlike other places where you have to order something on top to feel complete. Staffs were friendly. One of the best Japanese Restaurant in Richmond. Update: Nov, 2018 Looks like they have new tables and chair from the very last time I visited back in April. Cooked food is good and sushi are good. Bluefin Tuna Belly (otoro) is amazing.

These 5 stars given by me are not to be taken lightly. The $95 Omakaze meal was perfect. I feel that the food was made with professionalism and love. That being said I would love to try again but with more sushi. If you’ve tried the omakaze here I would call in and tell them you are a returning customer and have it tailored more to your taste.

Sashimi always fresh and reasonable price, compared with first open menu. Its cozy and small place. I love their geoduck nirgiri sushi, cheap/ crunchy/ fresh. We always order at least one dozen per person. But their lamb chop and tempura are not as good as before. Their roll always wrapped it too loose, rice and ingredients all falling apart.

the hidden gem in Richmond,. Was wandering in Richmond and found this place hiding at the corner of a plaza. Absolutely amazing dining experience, the food quality is superb and the pricing is reasonable. The utensils and plates that are used in the restaurant are well thought through. The seafood is really fresh and the miso black cod was by far the best cod I had in Vancouver !

Tried some of the unique rolls which were good but I think this place falls short of very fresh fish. Service was decent. Also, it would be more helpful if they had a QR code to scan the menu instead of going to the centre to look at the menu or take pictures.

I went to Kiriri Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Bar in Richmond near Blundell and Garden city road. Food was very good and service was excellent. The portion was a bit small for the price. Sooooo... lets try a new (to me) traditional fine Japanese sushi place. It was a pleasent surprise coming out of my comfort zone as i was quite particular with raw seafoods. At a fine restaurant, must order their finest. Scallop, geoduck, saba, hamachi, tai, kanpachi, ikura, uni, chu toro sashimi (side story, i initially ordered blue fine toro, but the chef recommended chu toro instead, cheaper, but goes better with the sake we bought, nice), beef tongue grilled, lamb, wasabi tako, with one thing in common - Fresh! Inaniwa noodle, simply made, well done. Service was great, my hot tea was never empty and more importantly never cold! Relaxing atmosphere, ambience is dim yet clean. one of my top pick for the finest traditional Japanese restaurant in Richmond. ps. the chirashi don is one of their signitures, will try next time.
