Came in for a quick drink and snack before the footy and ended up finding a gem in the alleys of the cbd. What was instantly apparent was the friendly and intimate atmosphere with the bartender being very approachable and giving an honest opinion on what was the best options on the menu. We tried the salmon and ricotta dish which was reasonably priced and also absolutely delightful. The fries were also hand cut and perfectly crisp. It’s a shame we had to leave early and see what turned out to be a dreadful essendon performance instead of staying for a bit longer and try out more of the beer selection. Would definitely recommend

Great little pub connected to the wine bar next door. They have a good selection of beers and has a lovely vibe. Great to sit in the front sand people watch. I didn’t eat the food but the menu looked amazing, I am going to come back and try the food in a few weeks time, including the pork donut. I will be back for sure. Highly recommend

Great little place with a small selection of some great tap beers and some amazing little share type plates (the pigs head donut is out of this world). Also has some craft style ciders/ginger beers and a small selection of cocktails which are perfectly made. The bar staff are fantastic and will give you advice and steer you in the right direction if you are after a certain style of drink.

Blah . The wine seemed to be to the owner’s taste and did not account for sweeter wines. We only stopped in for a couple of drinks, cannot comment in the food.

My favourite bar in the city! Always the best vibe and atmosphere. They’re always playing beautiful jazz music, and they have a smokers out the front which is perfect to sit and have an arvo beer while people watching! Absolutely love love love this bar 💖
