KIRO Hiroshima by THE SHARE HOTELS

Very nice hotel boutique. The rooms are bigger than Japan standard. Big common room at the 3 floor were you can get a beer and free juice it tea. There is a laundry room. Coffee shop at reception. The personnel are friendly and polite. Very well located very central. Near shops restaurants and park museums and near the train station . All perfect.

My friend choose this place for her family and myself. The ambience of the reception desk grabs you as you walk in. Even in the rooms the concrete chic, great usage of odd slabs of ceiling. The room is comfortable, her family room was cosy. The location was ideal for our focus which I think is the norm, the Hiroshima peace park and food. The pool side (space where we had breaky), again with the ambience, thoroughly enjoyed being this space. Staff are friendly.

This hotel is in a good location, with shops, restaurants and major sights all within walking distance. The main train station is even walkable if you're up for it. Staff were friendly and helpful with excellent English. Our room was reasonably sized, clean and confortable. It was just starting to look a little dated and in need of a minor refurb, but not enough to reduce the rating. The "poolside" is a really nice area to relax.

We booked 2 rooms each with 6 beds for our party of 10. The kids loved the curtains that enclosed their bunk beds. The rooms had a small fridge and a bathroom. Minimal space for luggage however there was a communal kitchen which we used for cooking breakfast each morning and a communal lounge bar with free non-alcoholic drinks of an evening. Really great for a few nights to sleep. There is also a coffee barista downstairs but only options were oat and cow milk and didn't do decaf.

Great hotel to see Hiroshima from. Located in a very central area next to lots of shops, bars and restaurants that are just a few minutes walk away. Only ten minutes from the train station. The location was and rooms were very quiet despite being so centrally located. They have a great little bar in the hotel that makes a great gin and tonic as well. We opted for the family bunk bed room which was great as a family of four for two nights. I’d stay here again in a short trip

The design, location and service are good BUT, what makes this Hotel a no go for us that it has a huge black mold issue throughout the entire air condition of the building! Every air condition I’ve looked at is basically coming alive with mold. This hotel is sadly a huge health hazard! And they seem to be aware of this!!!! Our room was extremely dirty when we checked in, they at least cleaned it properly the next day after we complained, but the moldy odor still remained. The air conditioning in the hallway was completely covered in mold! The rooms also seem to need a little renewal. We’re actually really fond of “The Share Hotels” but Kiro in Hiroshima was absolutely horrible. We wouldn’t recommend it to anybody or book it ever again. I sincerely hope, that enough people complain so that they at least clean and sterilize their ventilation and air con systems through out the building! Can’t believe, that they’re letting people pay for accommodation in this state, absolutely not Japanese standard!!!

I would not recommend booking this hotel under any circumstances, even though the location is good, lobby and lounge nice and the staff very friendly. My room was extremely dirty and rundown, the elevator and hallways were filthy, it was moist and there was a terrible smell in both the room and the hallway. The worst part was the mold around and inside the air conditioning (in the room and the hallway) and in the bathroom. Although the room was cleaned after I complained for the second night, it was still far from what to expect from a hotel even in this price range. Never again.

The room, spacious and filled with natural light, is spotless. An ideal place to recharge and enjoy a tranquil stay.
