"Bargain Hunting in North Sydney On the second Sunday of the month, this makers faire spreads through the Burton Street Tunnel and out into view of the Harbour Bridge. Stalls range from vintage clothing and discount jewelry to blown glass and handmade ceramics. Once you're done shopping, head to the incredibly diverse food area which has African, Chinese, Turkish, Thai, and Malaysian dishes as well as Dutch poffertjes topped with ice cream."

We recently hosted my son's 5th birthday here and we LOVED it. In the lead up to the event Dianne was very helpful and promptly replied to any queries I had. On the day the center was clean and the perfect space to hold a children's party. With the children's package you have use of the back play area, kitchen & inside area for a wet weather back up. Would highly reccomend!

Amazing place for a kids party. We celebrated our son 1st birthday here and the place is amazing! Everything provided from trestle tables, chairs and toys in the garden. 👏🏼👏🏼 we loved it and so our guests.

I attended a celebration at this centre. The area is great for the kids, as there are plenty of toys to keep them occupied. Parking can be quite hard to find, but there are surrounding streets where you can hopefully grab a space. There is also disabled parking at the front. A fully functional kitchen and toilets are inside the centre for convenience. Overall, it is a nice place to host parties.

A historic building just close to the harbour off Milsons Point, this centre has a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. I went there for free legal advice and to have a look at some exhibition rooms they offer for hire. The library is an intimate room that would make you want to snuggle in a corner couch and wish you could read your favourite novella for hours on end.

We had our son's 2yo birthday here and were so happy with it. There's a large wet weather option and an excellent outdoor space with shade. The toy shed is next level amazing and great for parties. The kitchen is fully functioning and clean. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good kids party venue. Can fit a jumping castle easily. Perhaps the only downside is parking, all 1 hour so be mindful of that for guests.

A beautiful old building that is used for community meetings and classes. There is a book club, film club, yoga classes, play ground suitable for small children, guitar and violin lessons. Rooms and courtyard can be hired for functions. Also 24 hour public toilet.

It's a beautiful part of Sydney, and a lovely old building, (bit of a creepy vibe) perhaps, due to the age of the place. We asked the lady working there if it was alright to have a walk around the place, it was because of the atmosphere, that we became interested, in the first place. She said she'd take us on a bit of a tour, and as we followed her around, she told us a bit about the buildings history, as well as telling us the main role the Centre is used for today. It was well worth a look, if not for any other reason, then, the historical value, it holds. Judging by how well the lovely gardens are maintained, as well as the buildings interior, and exterior, and the level of care that had gone into the housework, on the day that we were there, the place appears to be in very good and capable hands.
