"Cape Town, located in South Africa, is known for its harbor, the stunning Table Mountain, and landmarks such as Cape Point. It's a vibrant city with a rich history and diverse culture."
"Founded in 1913, this famous botanical garden was the first in the world dedicated to its country’s own flora. The spectacular, 90-acre plant haven forms part of a nature reserve that borders Table Mountain National Park. Besides numerous gardens and forests—some of which you can traverse on high via the futuristic Boomslang (Tree Snake) walkway—Kirstenbosch has a greenhouse, a restaurant run by the popular Moyo group, and a nursery for green thumbs who want to take a piece of the garden home with them. Spend five minutes here and you'll realize why Kirstenbosch’s displays at the Chelsea Flower Show inLondonoften win gold."
"This is one of our favorite places in Cape Town: a beautiful, serene expanse on the slopes of Table Mountain, with more than 7,000 plant species, most of which are unique to this part of the world (keep an eye out for all kinds of proteas, birds of paradise, wild gardenia, and much more). Scattered throughout the 1,300 acres are various artwork and sculptures, and in summer the park hosts concerts and events against the stunning mountain backdrop." - Sarah Khan
Amazing and beautiful place. We went on a perfect day with great weather. I don't enjoy hiking at all but this long walk is well worth it. Good place to get lost. Very well kept, and reading some of the info boards was very educational

It was a very beautiful place with many strange and different plants, and there were signs explaining everything about the plants. There was also a simple climbing area in the forest with the Red River running. I went for two hours, which was not enough to cover the whole place, and I plan to visit again to explore it fully.

The place is absolutely gorgeous with the Mountain View on one side, garden on the other, and city view as well. It’s so serene and peaceful. One can easily spend 3+ hours of you’re into nature. Highly recommend visiting when in Cape Town

I follow my wife to botanical gardens all over the world. This is one of the finest. The spectacular landscape surrounding it certainly contributed.
But Words cannot describe it so how 'bout some photos.

Amazing place to spend the day! A must-visit if you’re in Cape Town. We went as a family, and everyone, including the kids (6 & 8 y.o.), had a great time. You can bring a picnic and relax under the trees or visit one of the local restaurants with delicious food, drinks, and friendly staff

Must see garden! If you love the nature, you must go and visit this place. It is probably one of the best place to visit in Cape Town. There are free guided tours that our family enjoyed so much.

Calm and serene with spectacular views. Surrounded by mountains, offering an array of indigenous plants. Colourful.. spectacular comes to mind when searching for words to describe the experience.
Offers something for everyone. Excellent hiking trials, scenic views from the canopy walkway, artwork displayed at various points, a little art gallery (one of my favourite things) and so much more.

Stunningly beautiful park, almost dreamlike setting, I’ve visited twice so far. The botanical garden is fascinating, the artwork is inspiring, take the family along for a picnic or wander around enjoying the views
