A hidden gem tucked away somewhere around the Basilica Square. This tiny place makes up for its limited space, with warmth and character. Dating back to 1992, it serves homemade goulash and stews that taste just like something a grandmother would prepare. Other options include beef with handmade pasta and cottage cheese, as well as a traditional Hungarian dish I wasn’t particularly fond of, pretty similar to an omelette and typically served with pickles and a cabbage-carrot salad. Decent prices and portions. Overall, an authentic and comforting spot worth discovering.
