Incredibly warm and hospitable boutique hotel in the heart of Stone Town. Exceptional service, great food, and very accommodating for our family of 3 travelling with a 5 year old. Friendly note to keep in mind: (like all hotels in stone town) there are lots of stairs in this converted hotel that was once a family home. |Great views across to the sea from the rooftop restaurant where we enjoyed a hearty breakfast. |Room was spacious, with modern comforts, luxurious linens, and the old world charm of Zanzibari design. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and even made a birthday cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday.|Highly recommend for a stay in Zanzibar. We will be back!

Nestled in the intricate streets of Stone town the Kisiwa house offers a small piece of history from days gone by. Modern luxury in a sympathetically restored 1800s house is remarkable. Rooms were spacious and clean with everything you would expect. Worth noting steep stair case which could be problematic for mobility issues. Hotel manager was particularly attentive and committed to ensure your stay was perfect.

Kisiwa House is a lovely oasis in the middle of Stone Town. The hotel is nicely kept and it's clear that it is well maintained and well cared for. The rooms were well air conditioned and the bathroom was nice and large. ||However it is the service that stands out. The manager Frank went out of his way to ensure guests were satisfied and well taken care of. Thank you Frank!

We had a wonderful stay at Kizhi Warehouse! The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes that exceeded our expectations. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, with great attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness. The hotel is also perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the surroundings. We truly felt at home and will definitely come back with pleasure. 100% recommended!

Very nice hotel in a good location. Restaurants, the beach front and some shops around the corner.|Unique old building in the original style of Sansibar. Very authentic and beautiful!|WiFi could be a bit better.|Breakfast (and dinner) is served on the rooftop terrace and offers a lot of freshly prepared choices. |Team is very kind, helpful and cheerful!

Our stay here (with our two young daughters) was wonderful. Our room was spacious and pristine, but the highlight was the staff. Anything we needed assistance with, the team was more than willing to assist (including many calls to the airport after another traveller took one of our bags.. we got it back). Our youngest can be quite a chatterbox, and the Kisiwa team (especially Shenda) really made so much time to chat away with her, great memories. Meals were delicious, and the restaurant team were a delight. A wonderful place for either a couple, or a family.

Very nice, attentive staff. The room is really nice for an almost 200years old building. We stayed here one night before heading to the beach.

Great atmosphere, room, amenities, greatly decorated. Above all the service was excellent, felt so welcome! Great spot also right at the center of town
