Vibes 10/10, proper rundown place playing experimental drum and base, with the occasional homeless person coming in for a nap. Staff was cute looking and friendly, we ordered double milk on the rocks, even though the milk was refrigerated. Will definitely come back.

Excellent. This is one of the finest bars in Budapest — looks simple and down to earth, and yet serves some of the greatest cocktails and food around. While small, their kitchen serves some of the best Goulash stew around and the bar tenders will happily make you a great Gin Tonic. We were happy to be served the drink exactly the way she makes it for herself, and it was superb. Outside seating available directly in the windows, otherwise site inside; live music available on occasions. Update: I’ve been here again after the pandemic and can attest the food is as good as it’s been before.

The original version of this review was flagged for low content, so short version. I was molested here last night, apparently by two regulars. I got zero support from the staff, or other guests. I was shouting at the older drunk men who were harassing me under an open window directly in front of the bar and nothing. How are you gonna change policy? What consequences are you gonna follow through with?

I'm leaving soon but I'd come back to Budapest just for this! The vegetarian sandwich was UNREAL. I'm not veggie but chose it bc it sounded so good and it lived up to my dreams! Sadly not wheelchair accessible but still a great cafe!
