We found this hotel during World Cup season when most accommodations in the city were booked and we were very happy with the hotel. The location is the best part — the hotel is on a lively street with several outdoor cafes just outside the front door to have a drink and a bite to eat and watch people walk by. This area also has several other restaurants nearby and was very active on a weekend night. The metro station is just steps away, so getting to other areas is easy. Red Square and the Kremlin are also an easy 10 - 15 minute walk. The staff speaks English and are very helpful.||||The rooms are basic and small but adequate, especially for a solo traveller or someone who is with a close friend. The breakfast provided was simple but welcoming. If you plan to spend most of your time outside of the hotel, the location makes this a good choice.

The hotel was average but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the receptionists were helpful and pleasant, except one receptionist. Upside was that it was conveniently located to Red Square and shopping areas, about 5 mins walk and was in a nice neighbourhood. Downside is there is no elevator so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs to reception area. Breakfast was good, sausages (frankfurters) eggs, yoghurt, pancakes, cereal and cold meats and cheese etc. In the communal/ breakfast area you were able to have cups of tea and coffee all day and also a free cold water dispenser.

Best location... Metro, Bus station, Bank, Supermarket and Restaurants are so close from the hotel. Red Square is few minutes away. It's all about location. ||No Lift/elevator. I had to curry my luggages till the reception upstair.||Welcoming Staff, they speak english.||Room size is ok, mattress is confortable, bathroom is small, but you can find all the basic. The decoration is not modern, but I had a nice view to the place.||Windows not that soundproofed. ||AC Unit is great. There is no fridge in the room. Only Tea/Coffee maker, Water dispenser in the breakfast area.||For the few days i stayed, i did not wake up to have breakfast. But my friend told me it was a buffet breakfast, with a good variety of food.

This is a local hotel which as many earlier reviews have mentioned, situated in an excellent location, with a metro station exit and bus station outside in a relatively quiet area. Walking distance from hotel to Red Square is about 10 mins and 15 mins to The Kremlin. Do check out Zaryadye Park that is 5 mins walk away - there is a V-shaped walkway that extends over the river and provides sweeping views of the Kremlin and St Basil's church. Don't miss this if you have the time to walk around the park.||The rooms are very small but clean. If you come in summer and long hours of daylight in the night bothers you, do ask for a room with thick curtains as not all rooms have them. Some have really thin curtains. Toiletries are in sachet form so bring/get your own if you like something better.||Staff are friendly. Breakfast spread is good enough to get you started for the day. ||All in all a good stay as the location is perfect!

Loved the location, it’s near stores, banks, restaurants; across the street from a nice park and a stone’s throw from buses and metro station. |Hotel has no elevator, our room (203) was a good size but everything is very old, needs to be renovated urgently, carpet in the room stained and faded. The bed was uncomfortable, mattress needs to be replaced ASAP, you could feel the coils. Bathroom was ok, there’s no safe, no fridge and no iron in the room. TV reception was horrible, no sense turning it on. Breakfast was disappointing. |Only one of the girls in the reception was very nice and accommodating, don’t have her name but she was the only one working overnight the night of June 20th. She was amazing.

This hotel is situated in an excellent location. It's only 10 minutes walk to Red Square and St Basils. The Kremlin entrance is about a further 10 minutes. Also, the metro is at the front door and there are shops, banks and a supermarket all within 3 minutes walk. The breakfast is good. ||However, I would not stay here again because, if there was a fire, it could be difficult to get out. The second set of stairs ('fire exit') was impassable due to the hotel storing goods on them. Some rooms are situated a long way from the main stairs.

+ The reception is really kind and friendly, unfortunatly thats the only staff that is like this... The other staff is doing a very, very bad job, especially the breakfast (taking of the glases and plates while eating, on weekends breakfast is suppossed to be untill 11, but the staff act like its ending at 10). My room was never properly cleaned, even I stayed a week. I had to ask the reception for new bedsheed. And all in all its not clean enough for what I call a hotel, its more like a hostel. There is a club right under the hotel and its very loud on weekends. I feel a little bad to gave such a bad review, because the reception was first class and super kind, but their coworkers (cleaning and breakfast) are just the worst Ive ever had in a hotel...
