Kitchen Garden Bandra

Kitchen Garden in Bandra is easily one of the best places to hang out and meet genuinely good people. I make it a point to go there every morning for their delicious coffee—it’s the perfect start to my day. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of great company. The staff here is absolutely top-notch, with a special mention to Manasi, who always makes the experience even better with her kindness and attention. On the days I don’t make it to Kitchen Garden, I honestly feel like something is missing from my routine. A true Bandra gem—highly recommended!

Good food, it’s even for western food a bit to less spicy but it satisfies our cravings. Portions a bit tiny and they served the wrong bread hahaha

I was really craving crêpe today so I went to Suzette (it’s a part of Kitchen Garden). I had their champignon crêpe which was pretty good but the real disappointment was their Apple raspberry crumble. The mascarpone cheese was mixed with yogurt and it has the strong flavour and smell of yogurt which I absolutely dislike. The weirdest Apple raspberry crumble I’ve ever had to be honest.

⚠️ EXTREME FOOD SAFETY HAZARD - METALLIC WIRE FOUND IN FOOD ⚠️ 1 STAR - DANGEROUS EXPERIENCE THAT COULD HAVE HOSPITALIZED ME I am writing this review to warn fellow diners about a shocking and potentially life-threatening incident at Kitchen Garden that occurred during what was supposed to be a pleasant family meal. THE HORRIFYING INCIDENT While eating my ordered Sandwich along with salad, wild berry smoothie and chocolate dessert (can see in photographs & video shared), I discovered a METALLIC WIRE embedded in my sandwich as I was chewing - literally seconds away from swallowing it. This wasn't a small fragment - it was a substantial piece of cleaning wire that could have caused: 1.Severe internal bleeding 2. Digestive tract perforation 3. Emergency surgery 4. Long-term health complications IMMEDIATE MEDICAL CONSULTATION REQUIRED Following this traumatic experience, I had to immediately consult my Gastroenterologist, who confirmed that ingesting such metallic contamination could have resulted in serious internal damage requiring emergency medical intervention. The psychological trauma of nearly consuming cleaning equipment is indescribable. RESTAURANT'S ADMISSION OF GUILT Apart from restaurant staff present at the moment who acknowledged the incident. The owner Pierre personally contacted me over whatsapp acknowledging: 1. The wire came from their cleaning sponge used for bakery trays 2. This "shouldn't have happened at all" 3. It was a "serious matter" Their cleaning protocols failed catastrophically FOOD SAFETY VIOLATIONS How is an establishment with such fundamental food safety failures still operating? This incident reveals: 1. Contaminated cleaning equipment mixing with food 2. Failed kitchen safety protocols 3. Potential FSSAI violations 4. Risk to every customer's health and safety LEGAL AND HEALTH IMPLICATIONS Under India's Consumer Protection Act 2019 and Food Safety Standards Act, this constitutes gross negligence. Which can be proven by 1. Photo & Video evidence of the incident 2. Owner's written admission of responsibility 3. Witness testimony from family members WARNING TO FELLOW CUSTOMERS This is not about bad service or poor taste - this is about your life and health. What if a child had consumed this? What if someone with medical conditions had ingested it? The consequences could have been fatal. SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY - DINE ELSEWHERE I strongly urge the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and Mumbai Food Safety Department to investigate Kitchen Garden immediately. No establishment should continue operating after such dangerous negligence. To Kitchen Garden Management: Your apologies and food compensations cannot undo the trauma and potential health risks you've subjected me to. An absolutely brilliant place to get some really fantastic healthy food. Loved the entire spread of food. Unfortunately since I was there in the morning, I missed having the salads. Need to make a trip back here soon. Ambience: (5/5) It’s a smaller space, but they have managed to fit quite a bit in there. The open kitchen and the salad bar are both nice touches to the place. The outside seating is also great and mornings and evenings should be really pleasant here. Food: (5/5) Had the smoothie which was made extremely well. The other dish I ended up having was the avocado on sour dough. Beautifully made and clear and rich flavours. Summary: (5/5) An absolutely must try. Highly recommended.

We had the most amazing time at The Kitchen Garden in Bandra! The food is an absolute delight to indulge in - the freshest of ingredients are magically transformed into the most flavoursome salads and sandwiches! Right from the small pots to the tortillas, every single item on their menu is an experience for the senses! Specifically recommend the yellow protein pot and quinoa tabbouleh! And as for desserts, nothing beats the Meringue Lemon Tart and the Chocolate Tart. But what moved us the most was the exemplary service by Mr. Feroze who waited the tables for us! Haven’t met another person who is as deeply passionate about ensuring the guests have a wonderful time and goes out of his way to make sure the experience remains memorable. Kudos to Mr. Hemant, the manager here for building a golden standard in experiential dining and for leading this exceptional team of chefs and captains. Definitely going back again. And As often as possible ! Because when the food is this good and people are this nice, what more does one even need :)

Service is impeccable highly recommend going in currently I’ve been going in in the morning seeing Dinesh and his three lovely girls making coffee could not be better. They make their own homemade almond milk. Food has always been delicious, but even more importantly, the service is on top of the world

Food was really good! Best part was that they mention from where each raw material they are procuring. Just 2 things! 1. If you could also state where do you source your poultry and eggs that will be nice since I felt the eggs were not organic. 2. Please start accepting cash, sometimes as a tourist cash is the only option so only digital payments can be quite a bummer!
