I’m not really a vegetarian but once in a while I like a good vegetarian meal. This place is delicious and refreshing. I’m amazed by the quality and variety of the plates. Definitely stop there for a fabulous lunch. We were seven, the staff was really nice and accepted our booking. I recommend the bowls, the smoothies, and the herbal teas. Love it. Thanks.

Amazing vegetarian cafe. Had a noisette which was a wonderful caffeine fix. Followed by their salad bowl, which consisted of lentil feta salad with a side of roasted vegetables and roasted red pepper hummus. It was beautiful looking and tasting! I will be coming back for sure. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The overall ambience of the place is rustic and cozy. The staff are friendly and speak English.

Have been here a couple times now--once for a smoothie, another for lunch, and most recently for brunch. The brunch is very filling and well worth the 20€. You get juice, tea/coffee, the main dish with multiple components (soup, hummus on toast, salad, tofu scramble, sweet potato fries, roast squash), and a Belgian waffle dessert with chocolate sauce and fruit. The brunch menu varies, but it should be similar in quantity and quality. If you come later, just be aware that there may be fewer options (they had run out of eggs and only had tofu scramble at 1pm). The setting is so aesthetic and service is attentive. My favorite veggie spot in Bordeaux!

Ate here for brunch. If you’re looking for vegan/organic/healthy I think this would be your 5 star place. For me, I just wanted a good brunch. And it is good. And friendly service.

Utterly gorgeous veggie / vegan food. Great glass of red and lovely table service. Blankets available for the cooler January afternoons. Always busy. Well worth seeking out. 🙌🏻👍🏻❤️

Friendly service, good food. Great vegan chocolate mousse

The Tapas were delicious and the Mousse au Chocolat was fabulous. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I loved the interior design. I would absolutely recommend it. When I'm in Bordeaux again, I will definitely eat there. Thank you, Kitchen Garden, for the beautiful evening.

The food was tasty and nicely served. The atmosphere was pleasant and the location convenient enough. It is a shame that they only have lunchtime hours, as finding a veggie place for dinner is pretty challenging in Bordeaux

There are so many great things to say about Kitchen Garden, a cozy cafe with super friendly staff turning out a small selection of beautifully-plated vegetarian dishes for lunch! My pick was the Mezze Bowl, which came with a huge variety of delicious, flavor-forward, seasonal ingredients. There was roasted eggplant (perfect for the summer), moussaka (eggplant with tomato), yellow rice mixed with lentils topped with yogurt, a dollop of labneh, a pickle spear, pickled red onions, dill, lettuce salad topped with feta, and two different types of hummus: a regular hummus topped with za'atar, and a bright pink beet hummus too! Every single element on this plate was simply spot-on in flavor, and I noticed a couple of Ottolenghi cookbooks sitting on the shelf, which I'm certain played a role in the creation of this dish! I also tried the daily special, which was a warm bowl of polenta topped with roasted eggplant, red pepper, pickled ginger, sesame seeds, cilantro, and the best part, a generous helping of shiitake mushrooms in a soy marinade. Each of these seasonal ingredients was simply delicious, and the combination of the earthy eggplant, the acidic pickled ginger, and the umami mushrooms came together perfectly with the warm polenta. The dishes here might not be cheap, but the quality was definitely worth the price!

My husband and I had Sunday brunch at Kitchen Garden and enjoyed it very much! We got more food than we would typically order because it was a prix fixe menu, which we weren't expecting, but it turned out to be really nice. A great variety of flavors, colors, and textures. A perfect balance of savory and sweet. There was an option for vegan yogurt and vegan tofu scramble for those who prefer vegan diet instead of vegetarian. If you're vegan or vegetarian, don't miss this place. It was one of our favorite restaurants during our short trip to Bordeaux!

I loved this spot - a great atmosphere and all very healthy and fresh choices. The place does fill up quite quickly (and I think we lucked out simply walking in). I ordered the avocado toast topped with pomegranate seeds and a butternut squash soup, as well as an acai smoothie. I was very happy with my selection - all the ingredients were incredibly fresh. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and our waitress was very nice (she also spoke English). I would definitely recommend if you're looking for something lighter to eat - the location is right in the city center as well making it pretty accessible.

Often healthy does not transparent to tasty. Not here. Tasty and well balanced portions, nice ambient, lots of healthy choices, creative contemporary cooking and well -put -together meals. Probably the most delicious avocado toast I have eaten so far. It gets lively during the lunchtime. Great location . It's very hip, too. .

Very slow service. The food is easy to make. Not worth it for brunch. We arrived at this place for brunch at 1:00PM and were not eating until almost half past 2. It took them almost half an hour to give us water or take our order, and that is after flagging them down many times and being told they would come back. We only got our food after telling the waitress we had a train to catch, which we missed anyways. And when the food arrived, we found it was nothing more than a bunch of fresh food from the grocery store thrown together on a plate. I literally could have bought everything and put it together myself at our place in less time and for less. Really wish we could give this place more than one star but man, I really would avoid the atrocious service if you can.

I was looking for a vegetarian place for a quick bite to eat and found this place. I ordered a hummus sandwich and watermelon juice, and both tasted good. Price was reasonable, 15 Euro. I opted to sit inside as all of the outdoor tables were taken. Service was fast, even for a Saturday evening.
