Kitchen Hygge ("After the Kitchen")

Overall great experience from entering into the restaurant to receiving our food. Best burger you can get in Gunsan! The food is a little pricey but it is worth it! Visit this restaurant during lunch time to get the meal deal which comes a drink.

Wow! Words cannot begin to explain the delicious burgers at this place. You have to visit to understand how good it is... if you're hungry and feeling brave, go for the Monster Burger - it's freaking massive! if not, then anything else on the menu will be great and very satisfying. Don't skip this spot as you roam around Gunsan.

Wow, talk about a nice and juicy burger. Mmmm this was so good. The first picture is the monster burger and it is a decadent stack of mozzarella cheese with onion rings, cheese sticks, three patties and all the fixins. The next burger was the grande burger and you can see the perfectly cooked egg on it. Mmm The fries are like beer battered and amazing. The cheese part wasn’t very good, the cheese was cold, but meh. It really was a good meal and the eatery was clean and nice.

I do not mean it lightly when I say that their meat lover burger was the best burger I've eaten in my life. My pallet is permanently changed.

These burgers are phenomenal! The only thing that could make this place any better would be chicken wings. The ordering process is simple and we had our food at the table within 10 min. Highly recommend this place.

Kitchen Hygge is a hidden gem in Gunsan. The exterior is unsuspecting and is a burger joint that must be visited. Now for the food. This is not a fast food restaurant, which is typically associated with hamburgers. The burger quality of Kitchen Hygge reaches gourmet status. The ambiance is casual and relaxed with jazz playing in the background. Very inviting. Did I mention it is also a coffee house? Specially coffees are made along with the traditional types. There is also an outdoor seating area with lights to set the evening for lounging in the midst of the evening as you listen to the city traffic. Burger check! Bun…hot, soft and not soggy, check. Meat…flavorful, hot, tender and juicy, check. Lettuce/tomato…cool, firm, and crisp, check. Chips (Fries)…cooked to order/not limp and hot, check The burgers are at another level. Main stream burger joints can not compete. Prices are also compatible, but you get a higher quality meal. I recommend Kitchen Hygge.
