Kite Beach Inn

We had a nice stay right on the beach. The positives were the location right on Kite Beach and the wonderful covered deck for watching kite boarding. The main negatives are: The loud music at night from the bar next door and the parties at the neighboring property. Also note that the building doesn't look like the pictures, perhaps there has been a hurricane?

We stayed here a couple of nights recently and had a great stay. Kenny was very kind and responsive. He was gentle and genuinely cares about his guests.||||The rooms are bare bones, a bit run down, but clean. A little noisy with the street noise, but overall a good room for the price. There's a nice patio to sit and watch the kiters and a really nice open restaurant and bar next door that we ate and drank at a lot.||||The swimming in front is really nice, but do it before the kiters come out at 4:00!!!!||||I'd say this is an ideal place to stay if you're a kiter, the kiting community is strong here at this corner of the ocean.||||I would recommend this Inn if you want something quaint, no frills, and a good price.

I just spent 9 days at the inn and could not be happier. It is a simple and humble little place but it has everything you need. If you want to be where the kite action is, this is the place to be. ||The staff was great, everyone. Kenny was always super helpful and welcoming. Lucy the owner is great. Even the housekeeping staff Daisy and Alejandro were special. The place is clean and comfortable but not pretentious at all . The AC was very good. The showers were good. Beds comfy. I wish I was staying a month!!||I felt very secure. There is a safe in the room but more than that I just never had the feeling that I should be very concerned about theft in the inn. ||They have a great little pool and a grass area and deck by the beach with an outdoor shower for you and your kite gear. ||It is also right next door to the Cabarete Kite Club which is where epic kite action is happening everyday!! ||It is a bit of a walk to downtown Cabarete, we had a car, but you could manage it easily by concho or taxi. ||This was my first trip to Cabarete but I am already planning on coming back here next spring.

Kite Beach Inn is a clean, safe, basic accommodation right on Kite Beach and is the best place to view the kite surfers do their thing. The staff there is very welcoming and friendly, especially Kenny!! The Best hotel manager ever, who’ll give you great recommendations, answer your questions and make you feel at home. There’s a great local fruit stand across the street that also serves great local food. And it’s it the walking distance from many great restaurants and Cabarete Beach. Me and my husband loved it there and would love to come back.

I stayed in a condo here for 2 months. It was 2 bed 2 bath, small kitchen but very comfy and clean. The staff is great and i had a car so security would open the gates for you to park. The beach is beautiful and great for morning walks. The water is a bit rough being the north coast and quite windy and busy by 1 pm with kite surfers. The restaurant is good and quite reasonable. Great time

We just returned from a week at the Kite Beach Inn and are already planning our next trip. The inn was safe, clean, and in the perfect location for kiting, hanging out at the beautiful beach, or just watching the kiteboarding show. The staff was so helpful and friendly providing recommendations for things to do and places to eat. When we decided to go to the DR I was a bit concerned about safety based on some information I had read about other locations in the country. The Kite Beach Inn was perfectly safe. The guests who were staying at the inn were so friendly adn we all felt like one big happy family by the 2nd or 3rd day of the trip. We will definately be back to stay at the inn, but this time it will be longer than one week!

I have stayed at Kite Beach Inn at least 6 times and love it! It is clean well taken care of! It is right in front of kite beach and only a few feet from Kite Club! (Right next store) I always feel welcomed by the owners and staff and always feel totally safe. The rooms are simple but all I need is AC, a bed and good WIFI! Its my first choice when kiting Cabarete!!! Lots of great memories!!!

Our experience here was fantastic. My fiancé and I stayed for 7 nights and Kenny was super helpful with all things hotel related as well as giving us advice about the area. We briefly met the owner who is also a super nice guy. If you're looking for something not super fancy but still very comfortable and clean this is the place for you!
