Legit middle eastern cuisine. The dips are all good and the kebabs are very tasty with the right spices in use. Staff are friendly and the service is very good. The wagyu cubes are so tasty as is the beef kebab Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for legit middle eastern food.

The place looks like east and west collided! Like a sparse Casablanca dining room meets Khao San Road.; a New York rooftop garden meets a Balinese club! The facade of this place (especially during the evening) will enthrall you to enter. But this place is not made for dining ( though there are middle eastern meals available) during the evenings as its purpose is to be more of a bar. The food is okay though really not exceptional (of course eat at nearby Elijah’s or Beni’s for good Middle Eastern food). Well these are some of the surprises you get here in Poblacion....and I am happy to see establishments like this against all odds!

I was initially disappointed to begin with to see that WokBy had been dissolved and usurped by a freshly established (relocated from a few doors down) kite bar. Those feelings were fleeting soon replaced with a familiarity and fondness I hold for this chain. The food is flavorful and authentic, The owners are Iranian / Filipino and, they have clearly put a great deal of time and effort to capture authentic yet accessible style of Persian cuisine delivered in a lively, yet cozy atmosphere.

This quaint restaurant tucked in Makati is a good hangout place if you want to avoid big crowd. The interior is a bit dark but it has a rustic and homey feel to it. We ordered Beef Biryani, Beef Kebab, and Salmon Fillet. The biryani was cooked well and had that distinct smokey flavor found in Mediterranean cuisine. Do note that the beef are found in the middle of the rice (in case you might wonder where it is). The beef kebab was tender and the roasted tomato added some freshness to the dish. The salmon fillet was flaky and juicy, with a hint of smokiness as well. The food is reasonably priced and the service was great. We would have given them 5 stars if not for the big cockroach that suddenly appeared on the edge of our table - we were seated by the window. The staff politely offered to replace our meal but we refused since we were already halfway done and the cockroach didn't go anywhere near our food. Note: Parking is very limited, we only managed to park in front of their restaurant because we came a few minutes earlier than their opening time on a weekday.

Do not order Shakshuka - you will be deceived! Just 2 sunny side up eggs with a weird herbal sauce for 225 pesos not even pita included! Not like shakshuka from other countries! Rip off!

We love the spicy herb beef kebab with biryani rice. We also tried the ox brain which is served hot and a bit crunchy as compared to the usual mushy texture. The ox brain is good and they only need to work on the serving of it as we find it too small.

They accept GCash as payment. Food was delish and owner was very nice and friendly! We tried there chicken briyani and chicken shawarma. Awesome flavor and we're satisfied with our portions.

Yelp
We found this hip little restaurant while walking the streets of Salcedo Village. I liked its interiors. D got the chicken shawarma plate which he liked - though I thought that the serving of the chicken was too small for its price. D said he liked the taste of his food, though. I got the falafel salad which was very filling. The falafel tasted good. I didn't like the dressing though - next time I would skip it and would probably ask for the garlic mayo instead. But that's just me coz I am not a fan of caesar salad dressings. Anyway, I'd give it another try because I saw that they serve kombucha beer - and being a kombucha fan, this automatically is a plus for me. This resto will work for smokers too (since it is hard to find smoking areas in Makati nowadays) - they have a smoking area outdoors.
