Kittawan Home & Gallery has been our favourite stay in Thailand. Not only does it have clean, modern and spacious rooms, but the hotel owners are so accommodating and lovely. You can tell the owner just wants everyone who comes to Chiang Mai to have an amazing time. He took his time telling us activities, finding us motorbikes, finding laundry places. He was so accommodating and helpful to every question we had. The place itself is amazing, scenic and peaceful and the location is great. It’s a quiet neighbourhood but just 10 minutes on a scooter to the centre. I’d totally recommend booking here if you visit Chiang Mai. You’ll get your moneys worth and much much more!

We had an amazing stay. Rooms are very clean, calm and quiet neighborhood. Owner of the place was friendly and very helpful. He will help you with figuring out what exactly you want to see in or around the city and can help with trip and experiences booking. Overall great place. Definitely coming back.

Our visit to Chiang Mai was made so incredible due to the host of Kittawan home & Gallery. He helped us decide on and book a brilliant, ethical elephant tour, and a tour of Doi Inthanon national park and highlighted key features to visit in the town centre. Location is perfect, close to the city centre and train station (walkable) and the airport (15 min drive max). We walked to and from the old town every night with ease, but grab is also an easy option. The garden is beautiful, location peaceful and feels safe. Breakfast was delicious and the host was by far the kindest and most hospitable we have met (having travelled to many places globally). Thanks so much for having us! 🙏🏼

I had an amazing stay at Kittawan home&gallery. The owners are so accommodating and their kindness goes above and beyond. Im so lucky to have scored a room as the app says they are always fully booked. Definitely check this place out, you will get free breakfast, activity recommendations around Chiang Mai and there’s a beautiful pond and lovely kittens that you can pet and cuddle 🥰 💯

29/01/2024 - 02/02/2024 We absolutely loved our stay at Kittawan Home and Gallery. It was such a nice and tranquil experience. They say it’s a 2 star hotel but for us it felt like a five star, just because of the owners. They make you feel ‘at home’. The owner will do everything for you. I don’t eat meat and he went to the shop the buy me some cornflakes instead of the sausages. While we needed to go to the 7eleven, he even borrowed his own motorcycle. The will do everything to make your stay the best. - Location: Kittawan is located approximately 15 min from the center. As we booked everything ourselves we used Bolt to takes us and costs around 80 baht. - Wifi: wifi is excellent. We had no troubles working online, uploading videos and pictures. - Staff: as we mentioned before, the owner was so incredibly friendly and we immediately felt at home. - Breakfast: breakfast is basic but we don’t need more. There was toast (for me cornflakes) sausage, egg and fresh fruits. - Room: the room was clean, big, you had closet space, airco, refrigerator, hairdryer, every day you get a bottle of free water! You even got a little table and chair. - Bathroom: everything you need, shower water was nice hot/cold, toilet, mirror, bar for your towel Big plus, we are huge cat fans, and there are three lovely cats living here so we absolutely fell in love with this place! So if you want the best experience in Chiang Mai, we would recommend staying in Kittawan. The owner will help you book your trips and you’ll 100% will have a great authentic experience in Chiang Mai.

Kittawan was pure magic. I hit a couple snags in my trip and this guesthouse was the best place I could have landed. The property and neighbourhood are peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. The rooms are minimal, and they're safe, clean, and quiet. I LOVED the sweet little breakfast, water feature, and lobby area – I spent all morning writing from it. There's a wonderful bakery, coffee shop, and temple nearby (5 min walk to all 3), and it's easy to Grab (SE Asia's Uber) or ride into the old city for dinner or to explore Chiang Mai. Non, the host, was gracious, kind, friendly, and helpful. I would love to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Everything is perfect. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the room faces west and it was soaked up with sunshine and warmth. Very hot during the day, very difficult to cool the space for a comfortable sleep. However the whole environment of this homestay is truly like a home. Noi the owner gives everyone his personal attention. Big trees and flowering plants surround the homestay, lots of bird songs.

The garden was amazing! Having breakfast looking at the pond was very peaceful. The owner was amazing! He went above an beyond for us. We are so grateful and will definitely return one day. We rented a scooter so it wasn’t far at all. Highly recommend!!
