Kitty Cafe

Brilliant place! Had the honour of meeting Benny and having his love and affection! He climbed all over us and is honestly the cutest and friendliest cat we have ever met. Every cat was cute including Crinkles and Ozzy who both also stole our hearts. The café is nice and the staff were all very friendly. The only down side I would say is the amount of children running about and not following the rules but they didn't affect the cats that came to us!

I was left feeling disappointed with my visit. The staff seemed disinterested, very slow service to get in and when trying to order. We did visit towards the end of the day but the cats seemed playful and liked to explore. The building itself is very well decorated and plenty of amenities for the resident felines. You are free to move around to see the other cats but remember to abide by the clear rules which are common sense to keep everyone safe. If the staff seemed to be more engaged, I would happily give an extra star or two.

We had a lovely time in kitty cafe , the prices for food and drink were very fair! Cheaper than expected. You would think with cats around it wouldn't be best for cleanliness however it was completely the opposite the cafe was immaculate! The staff were lovely , would definitely visit here again 😊 The only small thing id pick at is maybe more supervison on children, a few where harassing the cats, you could tell they had had enough. Id still give it 5 star she to staff and because of the good time we ha 😊

We had a great first visit to the Leeds kitty cafe today! We absolutely loved it. The two members of the team at the front of house were very welcoming, helpful and polite. The cafe is a rescue centre also and they really do love their cats! The environment they live in is truly beautiful and extremely comfortable. We took our 19 month old daughter who loved her visit maybe more than mummy did! We booked today a Wednesday - but it is quieter during the week we are told weekends are very busy! The cats are all very very sweet and friendly and there were so many of them. They didn’t mind my daughter giving little head pats and sometimes her excited screaming ! And they just walk up to you wanting a love! Plenty of comfortable seating areas, you are given 1 hour, I would recommend ordering drinks and food early on so you are not offended when you are over your hour this is something that happens, so I do feel some of the comments are a little unfair around being asked to leave after the 1 hour you have paid for. Anyway, overall an awesome first time experience and would absolutely go again!

I’m obsesseddd with this place🩷The girls working there were so sweet & the cats were soo cute & loving! I didn’t want to leave, I could’ve spent the entire day there! It’s only 8£ to get in which is such a steal! We went on a Tuesday evening & it was so peaceful.. just us & a couple other people. Such a sweet little spot, can’t wait to come back🤍

Visited the cafe back in July. The place was lovely and quiet with no children running after the cats and drinks were lovely and served quickly. The cats seemed very relaxed and could do what they wanted. Today we went (December) and the cats seemed much more scared as they were constantly being harassed by children. Children were constantly touching and waking the sleeping cats which the rules say not to do whilst their carers were sat watching and encouraging it. I understand that it is the school holidays but I do think that there should be a minimum age requirement for young children as the cats seemed stressed. People were also leaving food unattended without the covers on and letting cats eat their food then claiming that it was okay because they had finished eating it themselves. The cat beds that were on the floor were constantly being kicked and knocked by customers who didn’t seem to care but luckily there wasn’t any cats inside. The staff at the cafe were all very nice and friendly. Overall I do enjoy the cafe and the company of the cats and I am aware that they have many places that only they can access but I do believe that children should always be supervised and this should be encouraged by staff when entering.

Visited Kitty Café in Leeds this afternoon for the first time. The customer service was friendly and welcoming, and it was nice to spend some time with the cats. We did see quite a few kittens that looked very young, which left us wondering if such little ones might be better kept somewhere quieter until they’re ready to mingle. A few of the cats also seemed a bit anxious, which made the environment feel different compared to other cat cafés we’ve visited. The place itself was quite lively at times a bit hectic. Our tea and sides took a little while to arrive, but nothing unmanageable. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the city and want some time with cats, just keep in mind it can feel a little busier and less calm than you might expect. Probably not somewhere we’d rush back to, but glad we experienced it once.

Garbage cafe. Literally had to leave before getting our food, and getting a refund. As someone who's been to her fair share of cat cafes across different places (Vilnius, Stockholm, London, etc.) I'd say that I'm pretty well-versed in what *proper* animal care looks like, and abiding by the rules. To put it plainly, this cafe is blatant exploitation, and this business definitely needs to be looked into. It felt like I was in a nursery, than an 'established cafe'. How it has an almost 4 star rating baffles me. The customers have 0 spacial awareness, and come up to people's tables - sometimes running - as they're talking and eating, all for the sake of (rather violently) touching the cats. Especially when they're in the middle of sleeping, stretching, and eating. You can see photo evidence of how close other people came. Don't even get me started on the neglectful parents who don't give a care about their smaller children running around, giving them a dismissive 'oh stop', before going back to their phones and conversations. There was literally a kid smacking the bait for the cat over and over on the food cover, which, if you don't know, these cats may have trauma with loud noises. It felt like I was in a zoo. These poor cats looked miserable, and kept running away from everyone they saw. They showed 0 interest in anyone. Please ban kids under a certain age from coming to this place, and for the love of God, tell them to stop coming near other customers to 'get the perfect Instagram shot'. Also, your service is absolutely slow and poor.

An amazing way to get your cat fix if you're away from home, or you're missing your fur babies! Staff are welcoming and can give you info about each of the cats. They told us how they come about them and their process for adoption. This is a huge cat cafe with lots of seating areas and places for the cats to play. We loved it!

We had a good time at our first kitty cafe experience. The staff was friendly and the place only smelled mildly bad (kitty poo). The kitties were all around, playing or hiding from the guests. A bunch of people ordered food, but we didn't. We didn't plan on eating there. I like how the cats are there to hopefully be adopted at some point. I liked the pictures and names of the cats near the back of the cafe. Also, the kitties looked like they were going to attack anybody that had food, lol.

The café looks great, the staff is nice. The cats are great. But the food wasn't nice at all and the mocktail tasted like pure cordial. I left half of both. An hr is long enough if you were wondering whether to book for two hrs.

Went today, such a lovely cafe and environment. All the cats were very friendly, one was even after my milkshake. Would gladly visit again. £6 for an hour which isn't bad either

Kitty cafe is amazing! Unique experience, the cats are friendly and it's quite therapeutic. The décor is colourful yet relaxing. My two little boys (5 and 3) loved the cat toys provided to entice them over! You put a cadge over food so they can't get it. It seems clean and friendly. The kitchen is a cat free area. Well worth a trip!! Even with the entrance fee (to help fund the cats) However... The food isn't great so dont go hungry. The toilet area is smelly because it's next to the 'private' cats area. I imagine where the litter trays are. But the cats do need to poop somewhere! Overall... Yeah try it out!

A cafe with cats. So there's a variety of cats wandering around walkways, climbing poles and chairs whilst guests drink their coffee, eat lunch and cake. My living room used to be like this! But it's a fun idea and good for cat ( and possibly people) watching from a comfy chair. It's a warm and clean environment. The coffee is ok. There's a good selection of cakes of which I've tried two and neither was great ( cold, dense, and not tasty), but cake was hardly the point. If you go then do so for the cats aspect. You need to book online in advance (£6 per person for about an hour stay) then coffee & snacks on top.

went today and experienced poor customer service. staff were rude and we waited half an hour to order and once we had ordered our food that was a simple side dish, we had to wait another 45 minutes for our food to even come. the food was definitely not worth that 45 minute wait either. our nachos were coated with plastic and not cheese. our dough balls were dough rocks as they were so burnt and hard. we did complain to the manager and we did receive 10% off our bill but i did not think 10% was enough to suffice that poor experience.
