Kiwi Experience

In my opinion the best way to discover New-Zealand as a solo traveler! The Kiwi Experence gives you exactly what you would hope looking at the name. Especially the bus driver Reuben made the bus rides way more interesting with his stories and energy.

As a first-time solo traveler, choosing to explore New Zealand with the Kiwi Experience was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. What truly made the trip extra special was our incredible driver, Lightning. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about New Zealand but he also made the effort to truly connect with everyone. He joined us on hikes, taught us new games, and made the long drives just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. I met amazing people and made lifelong memories. I’d absolutely recommend the Kiwi Bus to anyone—especially solo travelers—wanting to experience the best of NZ in an adventurous, social, and stress-free way.

The Kiwi Experience has been one of the best experiences I’ve been part of. I couldn’t have had a better time travelling the beautiful North and South Islands of New Zealand. Our driver Reuben is an absolute legend and kept us up to date on where we were and history around all of the places we passed through and stayed. Reuben ensured we all had the best time and got to experience everything we could. I would recommend anyone who is looking to meet new people and see some amazing places around NZ to do it through KiwiE. I have previously done group travel but this has by far been my favourite trip. The organisation is second to none and so easy to book activities and accommodation. I have met so many amazing people who have hopped on and hopped off the bus. Thank you Kiwi E for making my adventure of New Zealand so fun!

Absolutely loved traveling with Kiwi Experience! I did the 8 day Southern Crossing route and my driver guide Tawh was all that I hoped a guide would be -- very knowledgeable, fun, flexible, and caring (and a safe driver with great playlists haha!). You can tell that he truly loves his country and sharing it with all of us. The group size of 15 of us was perfect, not too big, which I appreciated. For this being my first solo trip, I liked that everything was planned out for me, definitely made it a stress free experience. Would have loved to do a 2 week tour, so I’ll be back for the North Island!!!

This is my first time choosing a group tour and I have to say I am so so so glad I went with Kiwi Experience. I did the Chilled Kiwi and it was brilliant from start to finish. A very special mention to our tour guide Ricky, for making the trip legendary and run so smoothly. I would recommend their small group tours to everyone coming to New Zealand.

Just completed an 11 day tour of the north island (North Island Revive) as a small group. I can honestly say it was some of the best times of my life. Tina our guide was absolutely incredible and did an amazing job. I met some amazing people who I'm sure will be lifetime friends and went to some outstanding places. I cannot recommend kiwi experience more from my personal experience. Thank you so much for everything. I will absolutely return and do a trip on the south Island in the future. Absolutely perfect for solo travellers like myself and to meet other like minded people and do fun activities.

To anyone thinking of booking a small group tour with kiwi experience: Do it!! I’ve just finished the Chilled Kiwi tour and I’ve had the best 3 weeks of my life 🙌🏻 It was so nice as a first time solo traveller to know that all my accommodation and travel was sorted for the next few weeks, and the extra activities were so easy to book via the trip planner - our tour guide Ricky was amazing at explaining what the activities were for each stop and when to book them by. Thanks Ricky for a fab few weeks! 💚

Such an incredible experience! I’ve never felt more fulfilled leaving a place. The small New Zealand Kiwi experience was perfect. Our tour guide (Fraser) was such a lovely person and gave great tips and recommendations for everywhere. The whole trip was so much fun and I’m now so sad to leave!
