We really enjoyed our stay here, it is very clean and comfortable, we thank a lot the owners for telling us about the jumping salmons of Sakura falls, recommending us an izakaya and driving us there. We were only a bit surprised that towels are not included but they can be rent for a cheap price so it's a good environmental friendly initiative. Thanks a lot !

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. There was a shuttle bus provided to take you to and from nearby restaurants and onsen, in case you are not comfortable driving at night time during winter. The room was very clean and warm. We will definitely come back next time when we return to Hokkaido.

I recently stayed at Kiyosato Ihatov Hostel in May, and unfortunately, I must say that I was quite dissatisfied with my experience. One of the main issues I encountered was the accommodation's policy of locking customers out of the premises after 10:30 PM. It was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating to be denied access to the common areas beyond this time. Instead, I was directed to my room, essentially forcing me to retire for the night against my will. This restriction greatly limited the options for socializing and enjoying the hostel's facilities during the evening hours. Furthermore, another disappointing aspect was the refusal of the staff to turn on the heater at 7:30AM, even after specifically requesting it. Considering that guests rely on the comfort and functionality of amenities like heating, especially during cooler seasons, it was disheartening to have this request dismissed. This lack of cooperation not only inconvenienced me but also affected my overall impression of the accommodation.

The owners were so kind and welcoming for the entire stay. They even drove us to dinner our first night and took a lovely photo of us outside with the incredibly beautiful views of the night sky. The rooms were comfortable even in summer and it was quiet and peaceful. It exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend it!

Too far away, and extremely too noisy! The owner didn’t help me but asks me to sleep outside ! It was too cold and I almost die! I paid the money but no room to sleep! And I lost my Sony Bluetooth earphone! It was been stolen! And no one helped ! It is very dangerous for your life and money and personal item!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and toilets are so sparkling clean that you can even see your face reflection on the floor and on the walls. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable, and outlet plugs are there for you. We have our own individual bed light which is very useful for privacy. Also there is a bed curtain in each bed.||There is nothing wrong with this hostel. It is the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed.||Unless you have a car, it is easier to get here.

Beautiful place in the countryside of Kiyosato town. The owner and his wife are really nice people, they bring you to the onsen and to the restaurant if you want. The place is clean and if the weather is nice they take you pictures with an amazing starry sky. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel with lovely owners who are very kind and make you feel at home. Super clean and in an beautiful and very quiet location. They have good WiFi, a nice common area and small kitchen area for guests to use. They also offer free shuttles services into town if you need dinner or a supermarket.
