First of all, the hotel is very nice, good location, the lady from the breakfast works hard to make guests have a good breakfast. The hotel is authentic from 1836. So that wooden doors don't close without some extra effort, no elevators so you have to carry your bags on the stairs, well that has something almost romantic for such an old place.
What the big problem was in our room nr.11:
The toilet was not flushing. There was a sign in the bathroom, that it could take up 5 to 10 minutes before you can flush. Not very pleasant if someone already went to the bathroom before you. It was very uncomfortable. Besides that, after every flush, there was a loud noise, like an old kettle, whizzling harder and harder for at least 5 minutes. We thought we triggered some kind of alarm. This was also uncomfortable, because if you need to go at night, you wake up everyone in your room.
This can't be something the staff didn't know. They put us in that room, but didn't say anything.
We didn't complaint as well, complaining about something they already know is not really useful, and we only stayed for one night. Luckily.
So staff, be honest to your clients and fix those bathroom issues and get the, at least, 4 stars this wonderful authentic place definitely deserves.
