When you take 16:50 train from Flam to Myrdal in mid December, this it view at around 17:20. It was dark but luckily they had some colorful lights to recognize the magnificent waterfall

Kjosfossen Waterfall was the highlight of our Flåm train experience! There was so much water — powerful, misty, and absolutely stunning. The moment we stepped off the train, we were surrounded by cool mist and the thunderous sound of the falls. It was cold, wet, and so much fun! We visited in the summer when it was hot, so feeling that icy spray was a big and refreshing surprise. The waterfall is truly magnificent and the energy of the place is unforgettable. Definitely one of the must-see spots in Norway — an experience you won’t forget!

Absolutely stunning waterfall near Myrdal, Norway. You can get here by taking the Myrdal-Flam train, where it stops for 5 minutes for you to take photos. It is quite chaotic and be prepared to get soaked in water because the waterfall is VERY strong. Either way, you get some really amazing photos and a beautiful view of this breathtaking waterfall.

Kjosfossen is a breathtaking waterfall along the Flåm Railway. The train stops here for a few minutes, giving you the chance to watch the famous performance of a dancer in red portraying the mythical Huldra.

A very impressive site from the journey on the train from Flåm to Myrdal. The train stops for you to sample the experience, this does become very crowded at different times of the day, we would recommend that to get a better experience use the return journey back Flåm to capture a better viewing experience.
