"Ask an Argentinean where to go for an experience that combines rural customs with the conveniences of urban living, and one likely answer is Salta. This mid-sized city in the northwest corner of Argentina boasts a wealth of neoclassical architecture and a tradition of local craftsmanship that retains some of the region’s Incan influence. A twenty-minute walk from downtown Salta brings you to the quiet foothills neighborhood of Tres Cerritos, home of the family-owned, bed-and-breakfast–style Kkala Boutique Hotel." - Tablet Hotels
We had a fantastic stay at Kkala, a gorgeous boutique hotel in Salta. It felt like a little piece of luxury after 2 months backpacking around South America. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - we particularly loved the passion fruit jam! Staff were friendly and attentive, always available to give recommendations. It's a little out of the main centre but plenty of restaurants, cafès and a shopping centre within 10 minutes walk. Can also walk into the centre in 25 mins. The outdoor pool was the perfect place to cool down with gorgeous views of the mountains. Hotel is decorated beautifully and jacuzzi in the room is the perfect place to relax. Would highly recommend!

This hotel has a very comfortable atmosphere. The hotel was very clean as was our room. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and very accommodating. Due to its location there was also a minimum of traffic noise. This is a great for couples and families.

The hotel itself is a beautiful mix of folk and elegance. Service is attentive and helpful (Eugenia was on top of everything and so helpful with directions and suggestions). Absolutely beautiful breakfast, warm pool and little nook and crannies where you can enjoy a glass of wine or just some quiet contemplation.
