We read some negative reviews, so we were kind of anxious to go, but after all it was well worth it. The park is bigger than what most people think. The canopy walk is fun and takes about 20-30 minutes, but after that there is a whole bigger trail you can follow. On that trail (that many people don't do) you actually get the feeling like you are in a rain forest. So be warned for the humidity and mosquitoes ;). What we did, is taking the lower hill entrance (you can find that easily om Grab). After that you will naturally come across all the paths. If you take the middle entrance (entrance number 2 near the tower), you will walk downwards and have to go back up if you want to do the whole park (and this is why many people only take the canopy walk and don't think the 50RM is worth it). To the people saying it is not maintained well, that's not true. While we were there we can across 6-7 employees maintaining the park. Don't expect concrete walkways everywhere, because that won't give the rainforest feeling anyway.

The park is lush, there are some nice trees and it’s quiet. But it is poorly maintained, some plants look tired and the price is definitely not worth it for foreigners. I would not recommend visiting this park, unless you have nothing else to do and don’t mind overpaying, then it could be good for relaxation.

AVOID THIS TOURIST TRAP (40MYR) the Eco Park is poorly maintained and offers absolutely nothing of interest to see, just the canopy. Head to the Botanical Garden instead — In contrast, the Botanical Garden is well-kept, features a large lake filled with thousands of fish, turtles, and ducks, and you’ll encounter a variety of birds along the way. There are beautifully themed areas throughout, making it perfect for a walk that can last several hours. If you bring your own food, you’ll also find plenty of peaceful spots to sit and enjoy a picnic.

Forested hilly area with various trails and a nice canopy walk. There are different views of the important skyscrapers. It has a few entrances, so it is a good alternative to walking through the city. The northern entrance was under construction, though. 40 myr foreigner entrance.

My 3rd time there. Things are not well maintained but still a good experience if you have 1-2 hours to kill. The view of the KL Tower and also Merdeka 118 is excellent

A special visit if you require a peaceful escape to some greenery in the middle of the highrise skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur

The park is nice green space in the middle of the city. There are loads of different trails over here. But while it is cooler than the rest of the city, it’s still humid so do be careful when you come and bring water. They only accept cash at the entrance which isn’t ideal. And I’m a bit disappointed that as an employment pass holder I’m not treated like a mykad holder; I pay taxes in this country too and I’m clearly here for a bit.

The park is lovely and green, but for the cost (40 ringgit) it’s fairly small; we went to a similar area in Singapore the week before and it was free. Not a bad way to spend 30-40 minutes when in the city if you want some greenery, but I wouldn’t go out your way for it.
